The great morning sun had continued into it's mid-day journey, across the great city of the fire tribe. It's light wonderful illuminated the lands and reflected peacefully over the tempted lava rock that draped and peppered across their city.
A gentle sigh left the maw of graceful Nahtlil that ventured quietly into the square of the fire capital. It was a place that was blistering with lush volcanic life and usually bustling with b'alam; making it the center of fire tribe. Jing Lung, made a appearance that was as rare as her gaze.
Though Jing didn't make her presence known often, she was well aware of the state of the capital and the civil war that was brewing among her b'alam. Yet, Surprisingly the center was rather calm and regular, nothing was out of the ordinary-except maybe her being there. Admittly the Nahtlil, was rather content that no b'alam would even know who she was or who her was Yolilztil to. Not that she worried if it was found out, however the sage was marked by her ember-adorn unusual gaze; as well as the silence she held and the 'Lung' in her name.
Crimson and white tail drifted peacefully behind her as her graceful steps guided forward. She had been curious of a non-physical sight she had been shown. The visions were not uncommon, yet-their placement in the city was.....
What was more unusual was the fact, she had recognized the Tah that made a appearance, but not the Nan. They looked to be a couple and perhaps formed their own Yolilztil...If not, they seemed to be well on their way to being one. Which was Strange, because their 'trusted' general never spoke of such a bond....
Curious....
Did her Lord, Shen Lung know of it...
Jing Lung wanted to gather a bit more wisdom about the vision before sharing the sight with him. Perhaps if she were lucky enough she would see the elegant alabaster and crimson haired Nantlil for herself. Such knowledge would be a boon for her Lord.

GunSniper: KyleKyle wasted no time removing himself from his post to answer the summons that had been given to him. With his bodyguard he returned to the city. It had been too long since he had walked the marvelous streets of his capitol. There were some new structures that had come up since he had last been there, it seemed more lived in than last he had seen. The war had taken him away from the capital for so long... Kyle had actually preferred to be among his soldiers than here. A wave of irritation overtook him for a moment. Hopefully the enemy would not choose this time to attack.
It wasn't long until he spotted a Nan fitting the description the messenger had given to him. This must be the lady. She was dressed up in as fine a silk as anyone could have obtained. That was another good clue... That made her a fine target. To be out here alone was foolish. Kyle paused in step a moment than offered Ajax a side glance, he had to have been thinking the same thing.
He didn't need to say anything to his pupil. The "cub" had been under his care so long he knew he didn't need to say a word to him, only offer a glance and he would understand. It was far more than Virtus had ever accomplished. He always needed a verbal command... he was competent enough, but not trained. Ajax would know to be respectful of their empress. Kyle would rather not loose a fine bodyguard.
With that glance given instruction given Kyle proceeded forward. His nose lowered to the ground as he approached the empress. All the while he avoided eye-contact, he was not worthy to look into the eyes of a ruler. No matter how proud he was.
"M'lady." Kyle greeted with the utmost respect. "I have come to respond to your summons."
Skillfully he held back his desire to convey how much of an inconvenience it was to be here. There was still a war going on.

Ajax followed beside his general, since becoming his body guard the 'cub' had the honor to form his leader's shadow. There wasn't a time that the ebony b'alam had not been by his side. Following silently beside and slightly behind Kyle, the Tah caught his gaze and silently returned the statement. His maw was tilted tot he ground, and his gaze had to angle it's self upward to 'speak' to his general. Their empress, was rather confident in the capital's security to be from her chamber and Lord. Ajax remained silent as he didn't dare place his gaze or raise it fully to see Jing Lung's mysterious gaze. He had heard the rumors of it's uniqueness, but respectfully and out of honor the Tah didn't dare look at them...he was no more worthy then his teacher. --- [Jing Lung] Jing thoughts were pulled away from her as the pair of dark b'alam approached her, past the flowing lava of other fire b'alam. They stood out like a pair of shadows in a brightly fire lit cave.
The elegant b'alam's ears perked as she was formally addressed by one of her Generals. Her strange gaze was careful to assets just how he approached. Golden orbs looked to the second Tah, she did not recall asking to come nor did she recall him. White ears turned back in crimson hair.
"The fire that burns in you has been received, General." Jing Lung spoke. "Thank you for coming as requested." The fire Nan spoke as she spoke and gesture for him and his shadow to follow. White graceful tail turned with her body as she started to patrol the square, to be less conspicuous then she had been.
"I know our Lord's work for you on the front line is important. But I would trust no other for what I have yet to inquire. I do hope you can forgive me for the inconvenience." Jing spoke respectfully to Kyle as her paw steps gracefully guided her forward.(edited)

Gunsniper:
[Kyle] Kyle remained in a respectful bow even after he had been addressed by their empress. She had not given him order to rise. He drew in a slow steady breath. Of course it was an inconvenience! The war could change tides at any moment! The enemy could attack! ... but those were all thoughts he kept inwardly and pushed to the back of his mind. Kyle's outward expression was statuesque, as it always was.
"Ask what you will of me, I have taken an oath to obey and will not forsake that, M'lady." Came his response.
Introductions were not asked for in regards to his bodyguard, so they were not given. He knew to be silent and Kyle trusted him with his life. If the empress could trust Kyle, Ajax was to be trusted in proxy.

[Ajax]
Ajax remained still and bowed just as Kyle, even as the Empress started to drift away. A dark eye looked to the corner of his gaze at his protected. They where suppose to follow right? The concern and puzzlement was hidden by frumpy dark mane that hid his gaze from the Nantlil, but was visible to his leader.
Dark ears remained perked forward, the Nan seemed pleasant and nice...
---
[Jing Lung]
The fire empress started forward, but paused as she noted that the two tah's did not follow. A soft friendly laugh left her maw.
"Oh do rise, Tah Kyle." The Nan chuckled gently taking a step back and closer to the two unmoved Tahs. Her bound had found such proper and loyal subjects. It was good to see.
"Would you and your shadow, please do me the pleasure of walking with me." The Nan stated a command, being fully aware she was not requesting. Even if her gentle choice of words politely suggested it.
As for the general's shadow, if kyle had trusted to bring him. So did she.

GunSniper:
[Kyle] Just as quickly as commanded, Kyle rose to his feet and begun to follow. Despite the harsh internal protest and frustration over being called away from his soldiers to 'talk', he remained outwardly composed. Kyle valued his life. He also respected the rulers too much to disrespect them. Shen was too strong to oppose.
"Of course, M'lady" Kyle answered and followed behind the Nan.
He watched the road ahead and remained alert. At least for now he would have to be a body guard for the empress. That would give him some other purpose here than just to listen to whatever trouble the empress enough to call a general from his post. His ears poised forward while he listened to both the surrounding at the empress. Of course, more focus on what the empress was saying. His bodyguard could pay more attention to the surroundings. Teigra Huo She[Huo She] A lone nantil padded the streets at a measured pace, seemingly lost in her thoughts. There was a lot to think about, after all. Newly woven, the nantil had awoken in a very interesting and very tense time indeed. She had taken up residence here in the capital, surrounded by her kin and learning more every day. There always seemed to be more however just out of paw's reach. She had been quickly swept up by the energy of the capital and felt the fires burning within when others spoke of the great changes to come. If only she could contribute and find some way to support the effort...she had inquired briefly about the army, but was waiting to hear back with more information on how to request enlistment... Having been previously walking some of the side streets alone, she was surprised to sense others coming her way. She looked up and her eyes widened at the sight of the Nan and her escorts. She was beautiful! Who could she be? Judging by her regal presence and the watchful eye of the two large Tahs she wondered, it must be someone important, clearly. She noted one of the Tahs keeping closer to her than the other. Her other half perhaps? A brief flicker of jealousy was chased by a thought: if these two had found their other halves...would she? She had not yet been long in this world and yet she had found herself to be strong, eager to learn, filled with the passion and fire of being a proud member of the Fire Tribe in this great capital. That hadn't kept her from feeling lonely. She hadn't understood at first until she'd spent some time watching some of the pairs walking the city. Her mind told her that she had time and shouldn't be in such a hurry, but the spirit still yearned.(edited) Noticing that the trio were getting closer, she realized they were going to be forced to cross paths. Unsure what else to do, she moved to the side of the path and mimicked a gesture she'd seen others make towards those they respected. She bowed her front half low, head tucked and horns low towards the ground as she stayed aside for them to pass

Jing Lung let one of her golden eyes slip to the corner of her gaze as she looked over to Tah Kyle and his unnamed shadow.
"Tah Kyle." The words left the Nan innocently and brightly as she called for his attention. A smile remained on her maw as she cast her gaze ahead of her. His stance and paw steps remained careful and poise.
" How much do you know much about our Loyal Commander?" Jing Lung spoke letting her white tipped tail twitch with curiously. The Empress honestly didn't know much about him, just that her Lord seemed to trust him.
Jing Lung turned her head slightly as a blue horned Nantlil caught her attention. Regal brow raised a little as the passer-by moved from her path and bowed her head.
---
Ajax remained silent and vigilant as he followed in Kyle's paws steps. His attention was set and focused around them as they made their way though the city. Ajax knew his general's attention would be focused on their empress, and his would be on their surroundings. Dark eyes looked upon the dark Nantlil as she bowed her horns two them. Ajax gave a look over to Kyle...

GunSniper:
[Kyle] Kyle's brow furrowed. Their commander, the one who lead the entire army under Shen was a mystery. Any information he had was likely something that Jing had known herself already. A deep gravely hum rattled his throat.
"I regret to report that I know no more than you, M'lady." Kyle reported. "He has not made himself known beyond appearance as of late.
For a brief moment he allowed his eyes to drift to the blue-horned nan in their path. An unfamiliar face. He glanced to Ajax and nodded as if to silently say, 'go, do what you need to do'. Kyle was more than capable of protecting the Empress, and if anything dire should arise it was not as if they did not have the home advantage. No one would be far off if backup was required. He gave the Nan one last look before returning his attention to the Empress.
"All I can offer are pointless rumors. I do not desire to waste your time, M'lady."

Jing Lung tipped her horns to the bowing Nan gracefully, letting her know her guest did not go unacknowledged. Her attention fully returned back to Kyle and his Shadow.
"Another dead-end then." The Empress sighed. "I am afraid I have wasted your time then Tah, Kyle." The fire queen stated easily, she had been running out of eyes and B'alam that would have known who was with Oni. It wasn't a nan, she had ever seen before-and her beauty almost rivaled her own. Almost. But that was not the point, what was the point was the fact-that no b'alam seemed to know who she was looking for and that most likely meant she was not in the capital. Which...more speculation then that was a slippery slope of assumption. Her Vision was a rare one that had come to her, by not the means of looking into another's eyes...which made it hard to place what she had seen.
"You and your shadow are free to go, sorry to have taken some of your precious time." The Royal stated politely, however the tone suggested that she knew his time was her's to waste all she wanted.
----
Ajax looked at Kyle, and wordlessly answered his leader with a little nod of his head. However, strong paws remained at his side and unmoved. The Tah saw no reason to interact with any others...yet.
