 Caraway was sitting reading a book in the common room, she was just minding her own affairs and not really paying attention to what anyone else in the common room was doing. She was reading about an imp who had really long hair and a geist prince who was trying to save the lovely imp from the tower they were locked in by an evil fey witch who wanted to keep the imp for their own selfish reasons. It was a really good book and Caraway was really enjoying the book. It had been recently written a new rendition of the old fairy tale Lady Long Locks.

It had been a slow day for Etna. She had a lot of time to put her days plan in order. While this was great for her most people would argue that her having spare time wasn't the best for everyone else. She hummed as she filled and tied the last water balloon and put it in the bucket. She grinned down at the large bucket, proud of her work. It was too heavy for her to move by herself however. It looked like she was going to have to recruit someone. She headed into the common room, glancing about and spotting a green-haired hybrid. "Hey. You. Can you help me with something?"

Caraway blinked when she heard the other freshling asking for help. She put her book down and went to see what the freshling needed. "What are you doing??" Caraway asked with a curious tone, she didn't really get into trouble ever. She was curious though this kinda looked like it might be fun and Caraway wanted to be fun since Jic thought she was so dull and boring. Foolish perhaps Caraway wanting to please the sibling that didn't like her, but that was where her mind went sometimes. She looked into the bucket wondering what the water balloons were meant for.

Etna grinned as the other freshlings set down her book and stood up. She looked interested at least which was a good sign. "Well, I certainly don't want to ruin the big reveal. I'm doing something fun and exciting to cut to the very point of things. I just need some help and you look like a very helpful person, am I right?" Etna asked, her grin still large on her face. "I need to get this outside. It's a little heavy for one person. But! With your help, getting this to the spot I need should be easy peasy. So what do you say?"

Caraway went over to the other freshling and said "Well yes I do try to be helpful." She couldn't help but be curious what the other freshling had planned. Even if joining in might be a little naughty. Caraway smiled outside this couldn't be harmful right? Just summer fun, of course, this was no big deal, though perhaps a little bit strange since they had filled the balloons up inside rather than outside. "Why didn't you fill them up outside so you didn't have to carry them so far?" Caraway asked as she grabbed her load to help the other freshling. "I'm Caraway by the way."

"Great! This way!" Etna grinned as she grabbed the bucket handle and lead the way outside. It was much easier to move the large thing with the help of this other girl. Etna hummed to herself briefly, proud with herself at talking her into helping. Hopefully she wouldn't spook as she got further into her plan. "Oh. That... Might have worked, but I felt there might have been somebody who wouldn't want me to use the hose or something. It was just less things to factor in, even though it meant more physical labor because if it." She explained, shrugging as much as she could with her arms burdened. It was fair to say that least one teacher knew of Etna's trouble-making tendencies and probably wouldn't like the idea of her having unrestricted access to a hose. "Nice to meet you, Caraway. I'm Etna."

Caraway followed along to help the other freshling, she frowned and then said "But it's summer and these are water balloons as long as you're not planning on throwing them at chimeras or kumiho I think naiads and nixies wouldn't mind playing in a water balloon fight." Caraway went on a bit confused. Caraway smiled and said "Nice to meet you too Etan." Caraway still didn't understand why Etan had been trying to hide what they were doing but it couldn't be too bad right they were just water balloons as long as they didn't throw them at anyone who truly hated water.
