The shadow of the Firekins moved sluggedly through another hot day in the desert. The bright sun beat against the dark pelt, causing the former Kusini prince to cringe as he continued his way. Just...a....few...more...steps! There! His front paws rested in the warm water, enjoying the feeling of the liquid coarsing to his burnt skin. It felt nice to get away from the 'masters' for a minute, especially the little hellions Nuri and Chomo had produced.

Teleka happily trotted towards the water, he needed a drink but he didn't care who he met today. That Nuri creature could appear and still not dampen his mood. He had made great friends with Aleu and Kirjava, even if they were slaves, they were friends. Then there was Kijinga, now there wasn't a more beautiful creature in existant. Yes, life was amazing!
He reached the water where he saw the dark lion. He was the one with Nuri so Teleka didn't pay him much attention, after all he was Nuris slave and Teleka wanted to avoid anything to do with that rude femme.

A scent entered the dry air, causing Denahi to raise his maw to the sky. It was familiar, like he'd seen this one before but never really talked to them. And in truth, that was what happened. Blue eyes met those of the Firekin hunter, and narrowed slightly. They day Nuri had be talking with this one, as well as a few others, seemed to cause a tention between the lions, even if it were somewhat.
Narrowing his eyes a bit more, the charcoal slave made a comment. "You aren't really of the blood now, are you?" He sneered out, flicking his tail casually before wrapping it around a back leg. "You hold yourself like a pridelander cub wanting to play." Hey, he was respectful to Nuri and Chomo, but no one said he had to be towards this one, right?
"I bet your just some mangey rogue with red pelt acting as one so you won't be killed when this pride overcomes all the lands here." The old smirk returned on Denahi's maw, watching Teleka.

Teleka just laughed at the slave, "I suppose you know all about the Pridelanders then?" He smirked and lapped up some water happily. "I have the blood running through me, as does my sister." He lapped up some more water, with a smile still on his face.
He raised his head and shook his mane stretching his legs and shifting the weight of his large body. "You are merely a slave and I suggest you know your place, the king won't like slaves acting rude. Last I heard, they were killed." Teleka was being slightly sarcastic but not much. He was happy, he was in a way doing what the lion had said and was playing.

"Of course I know all about the pridelanders. Seeing as my sister decided to screw with one to cause that of one flowing through my bloodline," He hissed, failing to mention to fact HE had pridelander children, as well as a pridelander mate who happened to be of the royal blood. "Hm, then why don't you start acting like one? I mean, it's lions like YOU who bring a bad rep to this pride." Denahi stated, acting like he knew it all of the pride.
"I know my place here; unfortantly, it seems you do not." Denahi watched the other with cold eyes, baring his fangs as he spoke. "Fortantly for me, the King isn't here at the moment now is he? Who should he believe if you happen to go off scurry to tell him of my 'nonslaveish ways' hmm? Someone who brings disrespect to the pride, or someone such as Lady Nuri?"
With his last comment, a cheeky grin was placed on his maw. He'd gotten use to the fact that Chomo and Nuri were now the boss of him, and frankly he didn't mind one bit. Not like he use to, at least.

Teleka just chuckled, "Nuri is sickening, in the way she acts and looks. Don't speak of her around me, I have no problem with biting your head off. That I may add would be allowed." He smirked and stood up, he was leaving.
He let his paws touch the sand and sink, he loved that feeling, the feeling of being home. He turned around suddenly and smiled, "You should stop pretending boy. It wont do ya any good." He then turned around slowly to leave, not that he was intending to, but to make it look like it.

"Hmm biting my head off eh? To bad you can't touch me, eh? I'm under the jurisdiction of Nuri and Chomo." Hah! He said it again, bringing a look of pure glee to his face. The other male's comments amused him so much, especially the last one.
"Maybe I'll stop pretending when you do. It'll be death row for us both, don't you think? Who knows, maybe i only pretend when I'm around you. I can't be a total a** to ones who brought me here can I? Now, those who have really no power over me..." He left the subject linger there.
"My my my, you really aren't a true one of the blood are you? Turning your back on another lion who can attack you within mere seconds?" A few claws unsheated, causing Denahi to smirk. Hello precious nails, haven't seen you in awhile!

Teleka looked back and laughed, "Ataack if you wish but yes I can touch you. You are a slave worthless aswell if under that creature." He didn't cae much for this dark lion. He would love to see him speak like this to Kimeti.

Denahi tossed his head back with a snort. "An open invitation for it? You really are going to defile this pride." The charcoal male stated, lowering his head to drink a bit more. Lifting his maw from the water, a frown approached his maw. "I wouldn't speak so disgracefully of /that/ creature if I were you. You may think you are strong, but she is 10 times more powerful then you will ever be." He snorted, flicking his tail against the ground.
"I bet your mother and father were just like you...Jovial creatures. Are they still alive? Or perhaps one of hte former kings killed them because of their actions." His blue eyes settles on Teleka before pivoting himself towards his den.

Teleka just laughed. "Ah you are stupid. My mother was cruel, worse that that creature who owns you. Oh and she was Makadari's sister. So I wouldn't speak ill of her unless you wanted to be killed by the king that is." Teleka then walked on a bit. That slave was so stupid!

"Will you quit telling me what I should or shouldn't do, hmm?" Denahi growled again, his anger rising like it had when he was a cub attacking the rogue Ta'ziyan. "Your mother then probably disowned you, left you in the rogue territory right? She ain't here right now, is she? And neither is the king, like I've said so many times before." He snarled, wanting to attack this lion. He was torn: Attack and defend your dignity? Or run away like a coward?
The first option was oh so more pleasing...
Without a second thought, Denahi pounced on Teleka, snarling and biting at the blood male.

As the males body landed on his back Teleka moved fast and twisted so his claws managed to find their way into Denges skin quickly. He let out a large roar calling his sister mainly, she wouldn't be happy with someone attacking her brother and he always relied on his sister. "Idiot!" He snarled as he fought his way through mass of legs towards the slaves neck.

Denahi grasped onto Teleka with his claws, clinging onto the older lion's back as he twist and turned. "What's the matter lion? Not in shape enough to fight a mere slave from you?" The charcoal adolescent cackled, burying his maw into Teleka's thick mane. A moment later, he threw himself off of the firekin, only to charge right into him. "Has the life of a rogue gotten to you where can no longer defend yourself?" He hissed, circling the firekin.
Snarling, Denahi growled. Come on, make this fight worth something!

It was not Teleka's sister who heard the roar, but another who was wandering close from where her slave was. Nuri found herself pacing to the two males, the colors mixing as she found a hard time picking one from another. It could be considered true that she had indeed sat and watched for a moment, enjoying the show as strength came from both the one she captured and the one she could not stand. Admiting it a moment later, Nuri knew that Teleka had been one she underestimated a bit from where his morals and strengths were.
Moving close enough, she was pleased to pick out Denahi, who held a strong front against the elder one. Yet where Denahi had no idea of his limits, she did, and she realized that he would not last longer in the shape he held. So with that note, she glanced towards Teleka, before stepping in front of the circling slave, her eyes dark blazes as her face was a stotic cold.
"...Stand down." It was a cold breeze of an order, yet one none the less, and her eyes still held on to the younger lion in front of her, ignoring Teleka for the time being.

Teleka was shocked by Nuri appearing though he sat back and didn't say anything. He licked at his paws and watched as she commanded the slave to stop. His liking for Nuri had gone up a bit and the liking for that slave had decreased by about 100%. Respect for Nuri may slowly appear, she did stop the slave instead of letting Teleka kill him, whether that was for him or the slave he didn't care, he was just shocked.
