She was a little girl still. And a scared one, nudging the rags and scarves and watching various robots pass, the girl silent. The big green named robot had snatched her from school, leaving an envelope with Niccy before sporting her away to a space station- albeit with air - and left her to the room now, and When was scared, making small noises for some kind of comfort, a friend... Anything, and she tried to not CRY.

There were many, many others in this place, but none of them were right. He had looked endlessly, but none were his, and he was lonely. So he had quietly sought his creator out and asked for a friend, and today was supposed to be the day he received one! So the barely-created being was eager to find out who it would be - and when he heard the strange noises, he was quick to wiggle over and cheep back. It was a hello and a who are you and a lets be friends all in one, but oh, what if the new friend didn't speak his warbles? Oh no!

Oh, one approached her. Wren made a STARTLED noise, cowering a moment before he.... cheered. The other robots seemed to do that among themselves-- did he think her one of them? Was he a new build? She didn't grasp his warbles, but, like home she did know not to be sudden, slowly reaching to HUG with a scared face. "Are you a baby? Are you nice? I'm Wren, who'rwho're you?"

He... sort of understood her, so the not-exactly a true Kuiper nodded happily and returned the hug burying his face in her hair with a happy cheep. She was so soft! A good friend, his person forever now. Soft and warm and - oh, was that her name? "Rrrr.... Wren," he echoed, chirruping his pleasure at getting what he... thought might have been her name right. "Wren! Wren, Wren, Wren!"

Oh, he was a giid huygger, and so gentle! He HAD to be a baby... Alien-robot-thingy, and the girl wondered if he was going to hurt her until he began repeaqting her name, the giurl nodding. "Yeah, I'm Wren." She nodded, then thought. Maybe human names... Did he understand human wordsa? Not good it seemed and she tapped his chesty questioningly. "Your name?" She asked, blinking. She didn't understand the cheeping but... Well, he seemed okay. But maqybe she could go home to Daddy soon? She was already most assuredly sending Nic information -- that was IMPORTANT.

Name? Nnnname. Oh! He knew what that was, but how to explain he had to earn his name properly? Hm... He frowned and shrugged, tugging his new person's hand gently to try to get her to follow him to his corner of the nest. She needed to see his shiny things! All the shiny bits and bobs he'd gotten from the planet below, which he would be able to see as soon as it was safe for him, he knew he would!

He shrugged, and found his greatest treasure, tugging the red scarf out of a pile so hard he fell back onto his behind, then held it up for the little girl to see, twittering triumphantly. Did she like it? Did she? It was soft and red and long and ---- He froze in place, eyes going wide, then started cheeping loudly and excitedly because his creator was coming yes yes HERE HERE HERE HERE!

Oh!~ Wren smiled, watching him show it off with a small smile before he stopped. At the sudden shift, Wren was reminded she was not safe at home., instead burrowing to hide in the nest and sdhaking. She was scared again-- scared of getting hurt. Terra was not pleased. His dignity was absolutely ruined for the day by the tall, thin man who even now walked him by the ear with his family, the green haired Styardroid making an unhappy noise as they walked, Terra carrying a young boy and his sister, the father following in amuse4ment and the noodle? "Albert- mine, loney-- Albert you're hurting me!"

" Apologize to my daughter," Albert said, huffing, and released the stardroid only when he saw Wrenny safe and unharmed. "There you are, little bird! I'm sorry, darling, were you given a fright?" He dropped to his knees in the nest and opened his arms to her, expression concerned. Meanwhile, the little one that had started all of this squeaked in alarm and panicked, hiding not just in the piles of soft things lying around the room but in a shadow itself, form seeming to vanish as he hid. Strangers! Strangers in the nest! What was going on?!?!?

"I will not." Terra grumbled, rubbing his now freed ear. He made no move to keep Wren from running to her Daddy, the girl looking around and whimpering, wanting her new friend safe too, the girl clinging to her daddy at the same time. Terra, however, hummed, motioning to Albert. "And you scared Shadow, so we're even." Terra drawled, before motioning, tone a trill to summon the boy. No, no, little one -- a warble spoke of Albert in positives. These were Terra's kin and the kin's extended family, and look, your was safe. The girl, meanwhile, merely shivered, staring at Terra sharply to see if he'd hurt her. He was SCARY.

"Shadow?" Albert echoed, having just barely caught sight of the baby stardroid as he dove for hiding. "Apologies for scaring the small one,then, but that doesn't give you leave to take my little bird away without warning," he huffed irritably. Nic, meanwhile, looked at his sister, then at the adults, then shrugged and wiggled until he was free before bounding off t investigate the kuipers. He wanted to see how they worked! At last, the little not-quite kuiper peered out from the shadows and tumbled forward, landing with a squeak and a chirp as he tried to work out what was going on. Why so many people? Nice or not he didn't know them why didn't he know them if they were supposed to be here? He cheeped his complaint, forgetting in that moment that he hadn't even been alive long enough to have been told of them!

"Our presence was warning enough." Terra smirked, leading Albert to Shadow before scooping him and Wren up, the young girl yeowling and burrowing into Shadow, half hiding, half trembling as Terra chuckled. "Child, this is yours' father, and her brothers." She crooned. "Would you like to continue objecting to your age, dear?" The girl crooned, hiding in Shadow and trembling, shaking.

The baby stardroid - more stardroid than kuiper, despite his apparent looks - cheeped indignantly as his creator. Why was he scaring his person? Why? That was mean he needed to stop! Albert sighed and shook his head, peering at both children with a frown."You didn't tell me you had an infant," he said, tone softening. "And why keep him here, of all places? Wouldn't he be happier staying with everyone else?" NovaCracker baby shadow has had enough of your crap, Terra. Be nice!

Terra trilled, sniffing. He wasn't complaining when Terra brought him his kin, not his fault the child was afraid of him. "Oh, aye." Terra crooned. "He's here for nesting and his safety, but he's learning critical skills among the other Kuipers." Terra then warbled -- meet his kin, dear one! Meet him!
