Mithra tapped her foot a bit at the waiting spot that she had been instructed to go to. It was the alleyway that had first gotten her into all of this and she was waiting for the one senshi who had brought her in. She hadn't been paying much attention to what had been going on, but Remarque had contacted her about something interesting that they had found within the Mirrorspace. Crystals that... well they weren't sure what they were for just yet, but they were intent on finding as many as they could and for each dark mirror senshi to get at least one. And so she was here waiting for him, though not impatiently. The night was warm enough and she didn't have anywhere to be the next morning so she could sleep in if she wanted. She loved not having to go to school and to have such a flexible job. She was casually leaning against the side of one of the buildings, looking out into the night-time crowd, just in case someone caught her eye in passing that she may have wanted to drain.

Remarque’s energy signature appeared at the same time the mirror in the alleyway began to ripple. He was brushing himself off as he stepped through it and was speaking before he’d even glanced up to confirm it was Mithra.
“Sorry, I wound up in a tussle with a youma. I hadn’t intended to engage it, but it seemed adamant on causing mischief.”
He shrugged and stepping out of the mirror, gesturing for Mithra to join him. “No matter, though. I hope I haven’t kept you waiting for too long? We’ll make up for lost time. I wanted to take you into Mirrorspace and let you see what’s going on with it. If we’re lucky, you won’t leave empty handed.”
It was a hope, at least. If Mirrorspace was giving them away, certainly they must serve some purpose.
He didn’t want anyone to be underprepared or disadvantaged if those crystals wound up helping them, somehow, down the road.

Mithra felt his energy signature and moved herself into an upright position as she saw him come out of the mirror and smiled a bit as she saw him. The man intrigued her, but she felt herself frowning a little as he confessed he had been attacked by a youma. She looked at him, wondering if he had gotten hurt, though he seemed to be okay. She arched an eyebrow. "I hope you taught it a thing or too then." She replied. After all, he was at a much higher level than she was, it couldn't have been that hard, right? Though she wouldn't know, she hadn't gone up against a youma yet. She shook her head at him. "It's fine. I don't mind waiting on nice nights like this." Now, if it had been winter time and in her powered outfit... there might have to be some promises of buying her a warm drink or something. Like coffee. She nodded and stepped closer to the mirror. "All right. I do want to see what's going on. From the information you gave me it certainly seems interesting." She had gotten to the mirror and nodded at him. "Ready when you are."

“Doesn’t matter if it learned anything, it’s not our problem now. Maybe if it comes back it’ll know not to mess with the Dark Mirror Court, but one can only dream.”
He hated youma. They screwed things up, got dusted, and then came back. If he’d known how to destroy them permanently, he’d have been on a crusade. There wasn’t a damned good thing about any of them.
He reached out to take the Dark Mirror Senshi’s hand, guiding her to the mirror. “That’s one good thing about Mirrorspace, though. For all its shortcomings, at least there’s no youma.”
He gave her one last second to prepare herself and then pulled her into Mirrorspace with him. They arrived to the blinding white sight of the Common Room. When they were both in and on their feet, Remarque dropped Mithra’s hand and planted both of his hands on his hips as he looked around.
Everything seemed ordinary; there was a hallway across from them and he tilted his head just slightly as he examined it. “You want to start over there?”
They didn’t have many options; Mirrorspace was a labyrinth, but at least tonight it had made things a little easy for them. For now, at least.
He didn’t know what to expect down the road.

Mithra hadn't yet met any real youma, but she almost wanted to go and fight one. There was always a little hesitation when it came to fighting other people, especially ones who considered themselves the 'good guys'. But there wouldn't be such hesitation if one was going against a kill-crazy beast... right? She let him lead her through, slightly jealous that he could go in on his own. She would have to advance quickly, she felt like too much of a burden being unable to go into mirrorspace herself. They went into the common room and she looked around, wondering how exactly these crystals were found. If they were new or something, didn't that mean that parts of the mirrorspace were crumbling or something? Or did they just randomly start to stick out of the walls? "Well... you probably know how to find these things better than I do. So I would be happy to follow wherever you want to look." She replied as she looked at the hallway he was talking about.

Remarque shrugged and nodded; it was true that he’d spent plenty of time in Mirorrspace, but some days he didn’t feel like he knew it at all. “If Mirrorspace has given us a door, generally I try to walk through it.”
For better or worse.
He added, “But always proceed with caution. You never know what’s hiding around the bend, and it’s always better to be safe than sorry.”
Without hesitation, he proceeded to lead Mithra wherever his feet took him. There was a long hallway with a few open doorways allowing access into rooms. Remarque peaked his head into a few on the left, allowing Mithra to examining the doors on the right. While most of the rooms seemed empty, devoid of anything but common mirrors, a few of the rooms seemed like they had some clutter and debris—as though the ceiling had caved in, or the mirrors had fallen off the wall and shattered in heaps on the ground.
No real damage seemed to exist in any of the rooms, but as they walked, Remarque noted, “I’ve noticed that some of them seem to appear in the debris. I don’t know where they came from, but if you see anything interesting, let me know and we’ll go take a look.”

Mithra raised an eyebrow at Remarque, but did not question him. After all, he was a Prince Senshi, and knew a lot more about all of this than she did. She would follow his lead. "Yes... don't want to just rush into things at least." She followed after him, though once they got to the hallway she looked through the doors on the right. And it definitely creeped her out a bit. She hadn't gone to Mirrorspace very often, but what was happening... it didn't seem right. There shouldn't be all of this destruction She thought as she looked through a few of the rooms. She nodded to him about, finding something interesting, though unless eh was looking at her, he couldn't see it. She decided to take a look in another room and almost gasped at what she saw. This one was worse than the others. It didn't appear to be too damaged, about the same amount as the others, but... it felt wrong somehow. As she was about to close the door on it, she thought she saw something out of the corner of her eye in one of the farther parts of the room. "Remarque! I think I see... something." Or at least she hoped it was something. It would be pretty embarrassing if it was nothing. She opened the door a bit wider, to let him look inside of the room as she took a couple of steps in. Kyuseisha no Hikari Sorry for taking even longer to reply to this one!

Remarque appeared in the room a second later; he moved rapidly, as if he expected her to be handling something dangerous and needed to rush to her aid. He scanned the room when he appeared and, finding no immediate threat, managed to at least slightly relax.
The room was damaged but it wasn’t so fragmented that it seemed unstable. He was more interested in making sure the room stayed stable and nothing was trying to lurk from the debris.
“What did you see?” he asked, staying close to her in case something nefarious happened to have crept into Mirrorspace but he was mindful not to crowd her. While on edge, he wasn’t so paranoid that he needed to be that overbearing.
Yet.
SSBrosB Omg I am so sorry, I only just found that I hadn’t tagged this RP!

Remarque seemed to have rushed back into the room, which surprised Mithra, to the point where she almost fell over from him coming back in the room. She hadn't expected him to come that quickly. Now she was really going to be embarrassed if she had seen nothing of importance. But she had thought she had seen something, and so moved more into the room, closer to where a small pile of what seemed to be rubble was on the left side. She bent down, sifting through it with her fingers a bit. She could have sworn... Aha! She found it! She pulled what seemed to be a small, red crystal from the pile, and held it in her hand. She figured she probably shouldn't have done it, she should have waited for Remarque to come look at it, but if this crystal had suddenly poisoned her somehow, it was too late now. "This is what I thought I saw. Just a glimmer of it, but I haven't seen a crystal like this in well, any part of the Mirorrspace that I've been to just yet." She said, holding it out so that the other senshi could see it clearly.

Remarque lingered just a few feet away as she sifted through the debris; he didn’t want to smother her personal space, but neither did he want her to remain open for attack if there was something dangerous lurking within. When she held up her prize, he leaned forward and squinted, trying to take in every little detai of the glistening red gem.
He didn’t reach out to take it; as far as he was concerned, it was hers. There had been other gems found in the area, and he had his own to worry about. They didn’t know anything about them, not really, so it just made sense to keep them separate until they could figure out more about them.
“Mirrorspace is full of many secrets,” he mused; the crystal itself didn’t seem to be particularly threatening, but he knew that appearances could be decieing. “…You should hold onto it. I don’t know what that is, but it’s not like the other garbage in here.”
Unlike the rubble, this was whole. It wasn’t the plain white of Mirrorspace, it was something.
Something important, Remarque hoped.
Something that wasn’t going to bite them in the a**.
He hoped.
He skimmed the room quickly and then just shook his head. “If it’s the only thing we find today, at least it’s something. Good eye, though. I would have missed it if I’d been alone.”
