Nephthys tapped her fingers on the counter. She was afraid to say it but she had the dreaded baby fever. It was just, her parents had left on some world tour and she knew that it would be likely years before they came back. She was happy watching the bakery for them. Working with pastries was fun and she could even use her chemistry degree to find interesting new reciepes. However the bakery was made for a family and it was just her in this huge condo/ store. The loniless was start to get to her.

Goblins were big on family and her she was just herself with no significant other. She didn't even have close friends, all her really good friends were still in above and in their own families. She didn't feel comfortable asking them. She had tried to keep her mind of it, but then lately new families had started coming to the bakery. Every day she would see the babies or the freshlings and that need to have one of her own grew again. She could handle a child on her own, and she was financially responsible but if she went to a mixer that meant that two children would be imbued and could she handle never seeing her other child. She had heard stories where the parents just separated.

However she had to do something. Nothing was changing and that longing was just growing and growing. Maybe... maybe she could check out a mixer. Perhaps there was one that allowed you to talk to the other partner.
