Stir crazy.
Artemis could feel it coming on, the impending doom of being trapped inside the buildings after the warning that came. So what if the water was going crazy, or there were water monsters? They had weapons right, it couldn't be that bad outside right? Wrong, it only took him a couple times to think about the orientation before he chickened out and was back in his door.
But that was days ago, today he was staring longingly out a window. Debating on just chancing a fast stroll. A hand moved up to pull the hoodie up and over a mop of white hair. The top lip of his orange shirt was next, it covered the bottom half of Artemis face, lending to the teens androgynous looks and helping quell some anxiety. Soon enough the fabric had slipped down far enough for him to anxiously chew at as he paced back and forth by the door.
"...Maybe I shouldn't..." Artemis spoke aloud to himself in the hall, turning on heels and putting his hands behind his head, "but..." He stopped lingering by an exit and then looked around, spotting an approaching figure. Another person! Fantastic! The warning had said just not to go out alone, maybe he could get this guy to come with! "Heey, you!" Artemis called out and waved enthusiastically heading in the guys direction.

The weather warnings never stopped him from heading out for a spar or two, but today Rhys had spent most of the day indoors on duty assignments. When he finally got a minute of free time he went straight to his room for a much-needed nap that didn't actually happen; all he did was roll around in his bed for a few hours hoping to fall asleep.
It didn't, and now he was up and more than antsy to get out and do something.
Luckily some poor guy popped up out of nowhere and called out to him, so without bothering to reply to the greeting he approached. "Rhys," he very briefly introduced himself, then proceeded to try and get the guy into a headlock so as to drag him out of the dorms against his will for a spar or possibly just some simple gym time. He needed to do something more active than filing paperwork or peeling bags and bags of those damned potatoes.xCheekiebirdiee It's perf, tyty~ Have a tag.

This was certainly the most interesting meeting he had ever had, Artemis thought as he was dragged away in a headlock. At first the shock of what was actually happening kept him from struggling, then he realized they were going outside, that worked so why struggle?
Though what was he suppose to do with his hands? It was awkward to just leave them at his side! So Artemis curled his arms around Rhys' as best he could and clung on happily, "nice tooooo meet you Rhys, I'm Artemis!" He couldn't help but be ecstatic, his plan had worked and he hadn't even done anything!
<...I don't think this is...well, as long as he isn't hurting you.> Rivia was far less amused than Artemis.
The teens eyes narrowed slightly, a look forming on his face that hinted at something sinister but instead a very awkwardly whispered compliment escaped as they made it out the door, ".....you smell good.....Rhys..." He should know they were were very close. Lucas would be pleased, he always said Artemis should try to sneak compliments into conversations.
Outside the weather was as gloomy and wet as it had been the past couple of days. A staleness in the air was lingering and it was far to quiet for the island. Still so much better than being indoors...

Honestly, Rhys felt the kid grab hold of him--that was fair, he had him in a (mostly harmless, he was sure) headlock--and even heard the compliment, but with his level of boredom he could honestly have cared less. Instead he just focused on getting out of the building. "Artemis, huh?" he said as they went along. "Good to meet you. And, uh, thanks?"
If the kid seemed like he was gonna run away the first chance he got Rhys probably wouldn't have let him go, but since it looked like he'd be sticking around he let him out of the headlock as soon as they were outside. It was bleak and depressing but it'd been that way for weeks so he was expecting it. It didn't do a whole lot for his mood, though, and after stretching out a little bit he summoned Zephira and hefted her onto his shoulder.
"C'mon, weapons out. We gotta get to the gym. I wanna get a workout in before the weather locks us in the dorms for the night." There was barely a pause before he closed whatever gap was between them and pointed a finger right at him, eyes narrowed. "You're not gonna jump ship before we get there, right? 'Cause if you are, I can keep a good headlock even if I've got my sword out."Cheekiebirdiee No worries~ No rush or anything. :>
