Eiri barely got any sleep last night. Too busy taking care of projects she had left running while in the meeting and getting it all into safe storage. It was probably four in the morning before she could take a break to nap and of course that only lasted a few hours.
Once she woke up, she made her self coffee and started the process of extracting vapors from the alcohol she took. She was sure what she was going to do with the excess sludge once it was all said and done. At least the vapors would help in the ignition process of some of her smaller grenades. Who knew Vincent's alcoholism could come in handy, she thought, checking to make sure it was running smoothly before moving on the start her next project.
Besides the mustard gas, she didn't have a whole lot she was working on besides restocking and repairing items. Though a couple of her flame swords would need to be taken to a weapon smith, because she didn't have a full forge or the skill set to properly fix it.
Running out of things to work on for the moment, she made herself breakfast and sat down to sketch up some new ideas.

It broke Sylvanus' heart to know that no one was going to replying to him anytime soon. To pass the time he held up in Vincent's office looking through reports only to realize he would have to rethink those rumors that he wanted the gang to spread. At the very least it was just day one of it, so he sent out a small group message to the people who were given the task to forget about that then texted Eli.

At first he was going to wait on the tome until it was translated, but if this one in particular wasn't much that didn't mean there weren't more like it. That wasn't the only thing he had to rethink, while he did want Vincent out of the way he could still be of use, that is if he didn't put up much of a fuss. Maybe he'd drag him along to the witch instead of Jayce, and have Jayce get more info on the elemental in Zlido. Probably have him take Eli's mini me along whatever his name was again. That could work.
With a small sigh he put the what he was looking through down. That was about the last of it for now, or at least the stuff he cared about. Time to go bother people.
He couldn't really think of anyone who to bother considering most were already busy, there was Eiri but he had no clue where her lab was. At best he figure maybe one of the more spacious areas of the hospital? That sounded about right. It took a bit of wandering but he finally arrived at the morgue. Sylvanus poked his head in after knocking on the side of the door frame. "Eiri berry, good morning~!" He cheered, glad to see that she wasn't really doing anything particularly dangerous. "Everyone else is busy so I thought i'd stop by. Or at least the small list of people who I actually don't mind being around. Plus I can't even get a text back from my own brother!How rude is that?"He said making a small face before making his way over to her, "Anyway Vincy is back!" As proof he pulled up the selfie that Jayce took. "Now I need this to be kept on the down low until we can figure out somethings because despite what I said the other day I have a funny feeling he's useful, not to mention he's a fan favorite! It'd be too cruel to get rid of him, but i'm not about to just give up my position. However, I don't know him all to well and what he's good at, got any ideas on what we can do with him?"

Eiri almost choked on her bagel when there was a knock on her door. Looking up she was confused for a moment. She almost forgot who Sylvanus was, but by the time he reached her she remembered. Good thing I had bagel in my mouth cause that would have been a dumb question, she thought, swallowing and looking up at him.
"Aw, that is rude. Though he never texts me back either, so don't feel too bad." Wiping her hands on her smock, she grabbed the phone so she could look at the picture better. It really was Vincent and Jayce, and Jayce wasn't looking so good. Pouting, she handed the phone back and paid attention to Sylvanus, since he was still talking.
"No problem. I only ever really talk to Jayce and that's not an issue since he knows. As for Vincent, let me think." She actually had to take a few moments and try to remember. "I don't really leave the lab a lot, so I'm not really sure what he did every day. But he would help me test explosives in the ruins. And help me get the stuff to fit up morgue. Oh!" She jumped up and down in excitement. "He was also always good at making sure I got enough supplies. Even if they were weird and questionable. Or illegal. I don't know if that was him or if there is actually someone in the gang that is responsible for getting my equipment." Her excited mood dwindled a bit. "I should look into that. Or if you figure that out before me you should totally let me know. Cause there are multiple people in this gang I do not trust with toxic chemicals."
"I don't know if he would try to take his spot back. But If you have another dueling match can I come see?" She asked, suddenly excited again. She hoped that it didn't come to that, but she wasn't going to miss it if it was going happen.

Sylvanus made a face hearing that Eli didn't text her back either, but didn't mean anything by it. "Jeez, how on earth does he expect to catch tail if he doesn't text back." He joked and waved that off. Eli would probably get back to him in a few more hours, assuming that he isn't fully going to take advantage of technically having free time. Which he probably would knowing him.
As he listened to Eiri talked he realized what she said wasn't the best help, but at least he knew he could toss Vincent at her to watch over in someway if they couldn't find a job for him. "Mmm he doesn't strike me as the person who'd want to do just that for the gang, but if its the only thing we got then he can be your personal pal for awhile."He chuckled. Jayce would probably have some ideas but he didn't want to sit around coming up with something for Vincent to do."It's Eliza, we own co own a trading company. Its mostly his but as I recently found out he uses it for this. At most Vincent probably just told him what to get and made sure it got to you. But I feel you on that." Saying that gave Sylvanus some kind of idea one what to do, but he still didn't know the guy at all. Well he had a lot of things so maybe he'll just drag him along.
He laughed lightly at hearing her want to see the fight should one happen. "Personally I dont want to deal with that business all over again but if it comes to it, sure." Part of him did feel that Vincent might and prepared for it, he took Jayce down fairly easily so at best he was probably on par with Vincent. Either way he wasn't particularly too worried. Plus today was gonna be buddy day. Everyone is a buddy.
He then heard his phone chirp several times from one of his pockets, "Oh man, its like everyone felt that I was s**t talking them," he laughed and looked to see what was up.

He then turned back to Eiri, "If you have nothing to do later feel free to tag along with Jayce and blondie to Zlido, but in the meantime," he then sighed realizing he'd have to go back to the office for it, "one moment." He got up and ran out of the room to go get the tome. A few minuets later he came back holding it, "we're going to date this book."

Eiri shrugged in response to the comments about Eli’s texting. It never really bothered her. She wasn’t big on responding to texts either. Mostly out of forgetfulness than anything. Though she didn’t think he had the same problem as her.
She chuckled at the idea of Vincent’s job being her friend. They’d probably blow up the lab within a week at best. “We’re already kind of pals. But I don’t think forcing him to hang out with me would be a wise decision. Mostly cause I would never put that many dangerous flammable materials around him for any extended length of time.”
It took her a moment to realize Eliza was Eli. This whole mixing up names things was going to be difficult for her. She already had so much trouble with names as it was. Just never repeat the names to their faces Eiri and you’ll be fine, she thought, listening to him go on about their trading company. “That’s cool. So, if I need more supplies should I just send him a message directly? Or should I tell you?”
She smiled, “Of course I would rather you guys don’t fight. I would be sad if either of you got hurt.” She jumped in surprise when his phone went off. She watched him quietly while he read the text messages. It was tempting to try and peek, but she didn’t know how he would react to that, so she restrained herself. Though maybe she should have, because she was confused. Who was blondie? And why were they going to Zlido? Before she could ask he was running out of the room. While she waited for him, she dug out her phone and sent both Jayce and Vincent a text.
To Jayce: I’m confused. Why are you going to Zlido? And who is blondie? Do you want me to go with you?
To Vincent: You’re Back! Are you okay? You’re not going to leave again are you?
She put her phone away when Sylvanus returned. She grabbed the book from him looking it over. It did look pretty old. “Okay. It’s going to take a while though.” Setting up some equipment on one of the tables, she took a couple samples from the pages and cover of the book. Grinding up the samples, she grabbed the chemicals needed and started to treat them so they would be ready to carbon date. “This part will probably take a while. So, I won’t be able to actually test it till later. Maybe tomorrow if I can get ahold of some dry ice. Otherwise I need to clean one of my vacuum chambers.” Which needed to be done anyway, but nothing dangerous was in them so it wasn’t a concern.
