Calla had known, theoretically, that once she was a registered donor for the Infertility clinic in her town she would be paired with other nightmares. What she hadn't been expecting was to get a call mere hours after she'd finally finished all the classes and turned in the paperwork to be official. Not that she minded, not really. After all, that was why she had gone through all the trouble to be registered.
She had set up an appointment with Bliss, the cherub who needed her help. Now she was nervously waiting for her to show up. She had been too anxious to wait at home any longer, so Calla had been waiting at the clinic for fifteen minutes. It was still fifteen minutes before the actual time they'd agreed on. She'd brought a necklace to work on while she waited, but her eyes kept darting to the clock across the room from her.
