It had been a couple of weeks since Denge had given birth, Nyunya was now big enough to walk and speak, though her vocabulary was limited. She was also able to see and hear, which would be a lovely experience for the little one.
Denge was situated with her daughter outside of Ithi's cave, though slowly she was beginning to think of it as her home as well. She was still privetly amazed at how Ithi had opened up her life to share it with her, showing her all these amazing sights and giving her a place to stay, helping her with her paw-ful of a cub and being a friend.
Denge had never really felt at such ease as she had with the older female, and she was glad that her soul was drawn to this pride, she was glad that she met Ithi. Met her a second time, in a way. Denge smiled fondly at the thought, gaze flicking around to keep an eye on her little one.

Little Nyunya was, at present, watching the progress of a butterfly with curious crimson eyes, creeping a little clumsily after it on tiny white paws, her tail high in the air, the black tip flicking from side to side. Of course, the pretty insect had noticed her following it, and was wisely flying higher, out of her reach. She makes one rather graceless attempt at catching it, jumping and missing completely, landing on her rear. She snorts softly, disappointed, then glances around her as if to make sure no one saw and was laughing.

Ithi was making her way back to the den, a limp rabbit in her mouth. She was proud of herself, she had been unsuccessful with hunting since meeting Denge, she wasn't sure why but the femme was always on her mind, along with the small cub. She may have traits of Nyek in her, she was still beautiful and Ithi loved her like her own, though she was Denges.
As the lioness reached the two she saw the youngster playing around and chuckled a little placing the rabbit down by Denge and sitting next to her. "She is growing so fast and more beautiful every day.." She spoke softly but happily.

Denge giggled as her daughter did this, though quietly. As Ithi sat beside her she leaned into her friend a little, finding comfort in her friend's pressance and being. "Yes, I didn't know they grew this fast.." She murmered, watching Nyu fondly still. The only thing she didn't like about her taughter was that taunting, pink color. But she could not blame her child for it, it was not her child's fault.
"Did you go hunting?" Denge asked, ears perking. She missed hunting a lot, pregnancy had stopped her from hunting. Hopefully that would change soon.
Her tail flicked slightly. "What are you doing, sweetheart?" She called over to little Nyu.

The little cub had smiled when she saw Ithi returning, but the butterfly once again catches her attention, fluttering tauntingly out of her reach. She huffs softly at it, as though it was deliberate of the butterfly, but this is when her mother called her, so she pulled her eyes away from it. "Nu'in, mama," she says, getting to her feet and ambling towards them, stumbling a little on her way.

Ithi nudged the rabbit she brought back, "Successful hunting. You should go hunting again, I am sure that Nyunya won't mind staying around with me!" She chuckled and laid down, resting her paws. The cub was adorable and so sweet.

Denge grinned at Nya as she come forward, nuzzling into her daughter as she got here. "Oh, I always liked hunting... well, recently. I didn't like it when I was.. taught it.." By Nyek, obviously.
"Nya, would you like to stay with Ithi tomorrow while moma hunts?" She asked softly, ruffling her little girls fur with a paw.

As she was nuzzled, little Ny pressed herself up against her mother's fur, purring happily as she nuzzled against her in return.
At Denge's next words, however, her little salmon pink head rose, and she grinned. "Sure, mama!" she exclaims, as though this is the best news she's had, ever. Easy going and easy to make happy, this little cub, it seemed.

Ithi chuckled and pushed the rabbit to Nyunya, "here I got this for you to eat!" She smiled and looked at the youngster lovingly before nuzzling Denge, it was something she seemed to do alot to her friend.
She looked up at the sky and smiled, "It is so nice having you both here, it was so dull being on my own in this large cave!" She smiled and looked at Denge before looking at the little one again. Cubs were so cute!

"That's good then, Nya!" She chirped, very happy that her daughter wouldn't mind spending time with her older friend. In a way Nya got that from her mum, seeing how easy Denge is to please.
"Oh Ithi, I am glad to have somewhere to stay and to be with such a good friend, too." She nodded.

Ny gave her mother a toothy grin as she was praised - something she enjoyed very much - and flicked her black-tipped tail in her typical energetic manner. It was a rare thing to find her still. One body part was always moving, whatever she was doing. She wasn't even still in sleep.
She turned her eyes away from her mother now, looking at the rabbit. With a grin for Ithi, she stumbles over to it, placing her front paws on it, but not eating yet. This was rather typical of her, too. Playing with her food.

Ithi looked down and just smiled at Ny, she really was lovely! It made Ithi want her own cubs in a way but there wasn't much point in that now, not without a mate and she couldn't ask Denge for help, she had Ny!
She turned and smiled at Denge, "Well its your home for as long as you want it to be!" She smiled and laid her head down on her paws.

Denge laughed and nodded. "And a wonderful home at that." She watched her daughter fondly, she liked watching Nyu all of the time, even when she played with her food.
"Nyu, you should thank Ithi." She murmered quickly, even though she saw the small one smile at her friend. She wanted her daughter to be polite, and thanking a lioness out loud for giving you a hard earned kill was only right. Oh gosh, she couldn't wait to take Nyu on her own hunting lesson! This wouldn't be for some time, though.

She had begun to bat the rabbit around with her paws a little, just playfully, as she always seemed to do before eating, when she heard Denge's words. She hunkered down a little in a slight cringe, one eye closing as she does so. Oh, right. Mama always told her to be polite and to say please and thank you, but could she ever remember that? Nope.
"Sorry, Iffi," she murmurs, slightly mangling the pronunciation of her name, as usual. "Thank'oo." She gives another of those adorable toothy grins, before lowering her head to the rabbit and trying to tear off a chunk of meat with her little teeth. Not much luck at first, but she finally manages to get a small mouthful.

Ithi chuckled at the youngster and smiled at Denge, "Its ok Nyu!" She smiled and leant into Denge a little. She liked being close to the femme and the youngster, they were like a family to her, somthing she hadn't really experianced.
