The brunette woke up in the strange mansion and fresh eyes did very little to make her feel more at home. Despite feeling uncomfortably lost she got out of bed and tried to get simple tasks done. Wash her face, get dressed, brush her hair - things that a person would do without thinking, but things that she found very tiring. Then, when she ran out of things to distract herself with she decided to explore. Jada had given her a quick tour when she arrived, but it did not stop the new resident from becoming lost almost instantly. Her head felt thick with fog and her thoughts made very little sense.
So when she heard the voice of a child, she told herself that it was her imagination. Her child was gone, dead for a thousand years at the very least. Why did she remember her? When she could not even remember her name? She sighed, of course, Sylvi was more important than a name, an identity. She was glad she had not forgotten her. Glad she still had that comfort. The sounds did not stop though, and eventually, she began to follow them, even if it would just put her mind at ease and prove that nobody was there.
There was someone there though, at the bottom of the staircase. She raised a brow, not knowing the young one was going or why there was here in the first place? Did Jada say she had children? She did not know anymore. Maybe? It was frustrating. ”Hello?” She asked, walking down the stairs one at a time, slowly so she did not startle the girl. She was blonde haired and blue eyed, she looked like a little fairy.
”Is Jada awake yet?”

Giulia woke up bright and sunny, blinking blue eyes up at the princess canopy above her bed, glittery and gauzy. She hummed, dropping her feet off the edge and rising, stretching her spine. She had to start with her morning limber-stretches- all good ballerinas did limber-stretches in the morning. And she did so want to be a good ballerina when she got older. She wanted to do a fancy dance in a tutu and have people clap when she went up on her tiptoes and did a spin. Head and shoulders, knees and toes. Sides. Arms. Wrists and fingers. She did all of the stretches that Mr. Colin had taught her, and some of the little yogas that she did with Jada sometimes. She took her morning vitamin, then, and drank a cup of water, and went to brush her teeth and hair.
She left her room, went to the kitchen to get some breakfast, and paused when she saw someone unfamiliar at the top of the big stairs. It wasn't one of the familiar maids, and Jada hadn't introduced anyone new who was working for them, so it meant it was either an unexpected guest, or someone who didn't belong upstairs. "Hi!" she called cheerfully up the stairs in response to the woman's greeting, holding her banana tightly, "Are you lost?" It was, she thought, a reasonable question.
"Jada might be awake. Did you check the pool? I haven't seen her yet, and Cook didn't mention she was awake." Asking about Jada, she must be one of Jada's special night-time friends or something. Usually they came to see the library. "Have you had breakfast? What's your name? I'm Giulia."

“I haven’t checked anywhere yet, I just got out of bed.” The brunette stated, stopping before coming to sit on a step halfway down the staircase. She pulled her skirt over her knees before resting her hands on them. Of all the people she thought she would meet today, she had not expected it to be someone so young. The blonde was not shy and seemed very independant for a girl her age, even going as far to ask if she had eaten. The house guest smiled, and shook her head.
“Giulia, that is a pretty name.” She complemented her, looking at the girl more quizzical than she meant to. She knew this girl, but she was not sure how? She opened her mouth to ask a question, closed it, and then opened it again. “You are the Princess, right?” She asked her, raising a bushy brow curiously. An odd question perhaps, but it was the conclusion she had come to.
She had to stop herself from asking the girl if she was Castor’s daughter, knowing all too well that some things needed to be kept secret. Then again, maybe she knew, this seemed like the kind of house where a Princess would live. The brunette rested her hand on her forehead, leaning into her palm like she had a headache. She really had hoped sleep would have made things easier, but her head was still spinning.
Focus. Castor was a senshi. He was also a Prince. This girl was a Princess. She was in a merchant's house. She was sick. She was nobody.
“I don’t have a name.” She stated finally, closing her eyes and trying to ignore the pounding in her skull.

"Oh." Giulia considered the tall woman as she made her way down the stairs, the little girl still gripping the banana securely. Whatever she was wearing didn't look like it was something that made her particularly comfortable. Whoever she was, she needed new clothes. And maybe a hairbrush. She'd only met a couple people with hair like that before. Still; she didn't seem to like the skirt much, and some of the other clothes just.... huh. Perhaps she would do better in a princess dress? That was something she might suggest.
but first things first. If this nameless woman had just woken up, then she was probably hungry. And sad, from not having a name. Giulia knew. She could tell because the nameless woman closed her eyes. "Thank you," she started with, "My mother named me." Probably, anyways. Giulia had never actually asked, but mother had signed the birth cerdivikate, so... "I'm not a princess. I mean, I plan to be, one day. I dress like a princess when I can, and I am gonna marry a Prince and live in a castle if I can. Or have Jada marry one, and I'll live in her castle."
She held out a hand to the woman, touching her lightly. "Let's get you some food. Chef makes good food, and you are probably hungry. While you eat, we can pick out names. Everyone has a name, they just haven't found it yet. What was your mommy's name? My mommy was Szelem." the strange woman was holding her head, which Jada did when she was hungry. Aidan usually held his tummy, but Aidan was weird, and a boy.
"We'll find you a nice name. We have lots of books in the library. We can pick you a princess name, as beautiful as you are."

“But you already live in a castle?” It was not a castle in the traditional sense, with grey brick walls and towers. There was no moat and no dragon guarding the doors. However, it was a wonderful home, larger and grander than anything she could have imagined. The brunette had woken up in a strange reality, surrounded by people who were above her station. Her stomach rumbled, and she remembered the hunger well. The time in her life where she could not afford to eat, where the ground was her cold bed and her body was sore and thin. If she was told then that she would be sleeping in a place like this, that this was her ‘home’ for the time being, well Ofelia would have died laughing. Maybe, she was dreaming.
Maybe she never made it off of those streets, and the angel that carried her away was just that. The blonde demanded her attention again, Szelem? She looked to the side and thought for a moment. “Erin… No, Saga? Cassandra? I can not remember which one it was. Maybe all of them?” She did not know which memories to trust, which ones were from this life, which ones came from the life before. These faceless women in her mind were like ghosts, whenever she looked too closely, they disappeared.
Then, the girl touched her and the brunette remained still. She could feel herself stop breathing, for a moment she saw Sylvi again, such was a symptom of her insanity. She felt a strange connection to this girl, a protectiveness that was almost unnatural. Projecting maybe? Or perhaps she did know Giulia before she was cured? “Breakfast sounds amazing.” She finally exhaled and smiled, she pushed herself up onto her feet once more and reached out to offer her hand to the child. “Beautiful?” She looked at her sceptically, her bushy brows furrowed.
By the sounds of things, she was getting a name today if she deserved one or not.

"It isn't really a castle, though, just a really big house. We had a château, but we didn't wanna live there. This was the house where mama grew up, so Jada decided to bring us back here." Giulia beamed at the older woman, considering her carefully. She looked familiar, but pieces of the puzzle wouldn't fall in place. One thing she did recognize, though, was a rumbly tumbly.
Maybe the hungry was making the woman's mind feel kind of blank? Giulia couldn't imagine being that hungry- even when she was sent to bed for being bad at dinner, someone brought her up a snack to eat. Usually Jada, though sometimes it was Aidan or Amelie. "Did you have two mommies?" she asked sweetly, remembering hearing that some people had two mommies instead of a mommy and a daddy. She hadn't heard of three mommies before, but why not? "Maybe all of them were your mommy! That might be kind of nice, having lots of people to love you."
She took the lady's hand carefully, amazed by how tall she was. Giulia didn't know many people that high up in the air at all! "Do you know what kind of breakfast you might like? If not, I suggest we leave it up to Cookie to decide. She makes the best food. Especially macaroni, but that isn't breakfast." Tho pizza wasn't breakfast, and they got to eat that sometimes. "Yes, beautiful! Or so you not like that word? It is a big word, it means really, really pretty."
