Personality:
Taehyun is the complete opposite of his flirtatious and extroverted sister. The man prefers to stay in solitude and drink away his problems instead of sharing his concerns with his few close pals in the infantry. Despite his somewhat cold demeanor and resting b***h face, Taehyun is truly a kind kid at heart. He tries to remind people of their best qualities and the positive effects they have on others, all the while forgetting that he too embodies these entities. He dislikes confrontation and would rather bite his tongue in an argument (especially if it's with his superiors) but he is as loyal as they come in the infantry. Taehyun always has his comrades' backs and they respect him for it. He is somewhat of a gentleman around the ladies, but he tends to get nervous when things start to go his way and he pulls back for fear of commitment.

Backstory:
Taehyun and his sister (Minyoung) were barely two months old when they were taken in by the older gentleman, loved and known by the local as Vinnie, who ran the Broken Pale Bar. They grew up running between the legs of the locals who came to visit for a hearty beer or dangerously good cocktail, unaware that the man they lovingly called Grandfather was not actually their blood relative. Yet, the twins were happy - they helped Vinnie around the bar and became well known and liked among the locals too. When the "great disappearance" (as Taehyun commonly refers to the mass vanishment of human life) occurred, Vinnie was among the many who seemingly just disappeared into thin air. Minyoung and Taehyun were just 11 years old. They were at a lost and did not know what to do - all they had was each other.
That is, until Taehyun started drinking. He would stumble in late at night, breaking things in an angry stupor until finally Minyoung kicked him out after a heated argument. She sent him to the Raven military to right his wrongs; it's been 10 years since he's seen or spoken to her, and although he won't admit it, he misses her dearly. He still has nightmares of the hateful words she spat at him before shoving him out the door with his single duffle-bag. Since then he has dedicated his life and soul to the Ravens. He has slowly made his way up to a Tier 3 Sergeant in the Infantry and though it is not his favorite thing in the world, he's proud of his accomplishments. Life on the base has its ups and downs, but... it could be worse. He could have "disappeared."
Unbeknownst to Taehyun, a journal belonging to Vinnie lays hidden in one of the many trunks kept in his room back at the bar. This journal holds precious and important secrets to his and Minyoung's birth parents, and maybe... confidential information regarding the great disappearance.
Goal:
- Find the people behind the "great disappearance" and make them pay
- Find his grandfather
- Eventually start a family
Extra: Unknown to both "twins," Tae and Minnie are not actually related. All of their past and their family secrets lay hidden away in their grandfather's journal, which is tucked away somewhere in the bar.
