SECRETS
Bio: Eleia was the only daughter born to Francesca and Gregorio Di Rose. In the recent century, the Di Rose family married into nobility. Widely renowned for their social and financial success, Eleia's great, great grandfather married a beautiful Llewellyn daughter in an honorable union that established the Di Rose name in the noble community as heirs to House Draconis. As is typical with nobility, she was bred in a privileged lifestyle with minimal exposure to what she considered to be a free lifestyle. Eleia was classically trained from the time she was able to walk and talk. Though her parents were loving, they were often times busy overseeing the lands bordering the desert and sea and were unable to devote much time to their daughter. Instead, she was raised by handmaidens and staff that saw to her needs, education and physical abilities. Though Eleia was never truly isolated, she certainly felt that way. It wasn't long before she began to yearn for a life outside the walls of her family and responsibilities.
At the age of thirteen, this yearning became so great that Eleia made her first successful "escape". One night, she tactfully managed to sneak out of her estate. She disguised herself as best as she could and took to the beautiful streets and public areas that was Zalto. Her little escapade lasted for a full day before she was found and returned home, but that day was nothing short of perfect for her. Eleia ran, danced, sang, explored and loved with an exuberant freedom that she had never experienced. Since that day, she wished for a simple life where she could do as she pleased when she pleased. The idea she would one day have to be responsible for a land scares her even to this day.
And, unfortunately, when Eleia turned 20, both of her parents perished at sea. While she was struck with the sadness and emptiness of lost family, she was also stuck with inheriting the title of Duchess and thus she became the sole heir to the Draconis House.
For the last six years, Eleia has been tending to the needs of her nobility as best she can. She was quick to pick up on the trade and made sure to refine her skills as best she could. Because she has one huge secret. One that should she fail as a Duchess, means she'd lose all the freedom of the night. Because at night, Eleia is a whole new person. Gone are her manners and senses of propriety and out come her true colors. Her nighttime persona, "The Black Jewel", has become infamous and enigmatic around Zalto for putting on alluring and popular performances in the middle of the night.
