The run through the wooded area surrounding the park had late enough in the afternoon that the sun wasn't as bright or awful as it had been earlier in the day. Just the same, Abby had pulled a ball cap on to shield the top of her head from the rays as no one had formulated a shampoo or conditioner with an SPF for your scalp that she'd managed to find just yet.

Whatever motivation she had for the run was slowly waning. They'd set a steady pace, no one member of the three person group that day pushing any harder than the rest just yet. They'd paused briefly near the water fountain to take a breath and catch a drink before continuing on, but her stomach was telling her that it was nearly time for dinner. The next time they paused she'd bring it up.

---

Running wasn't something that Cordelia Carden did much of when she wasn't in uniform. When Lysander had asked her to join he and Abby she'd agreed only to spend an hour finding her running shoes and digging through her laundry to find one of the only two supportive sports bras she owned, determined not to make herself the center of attention by letting everything just bounce around-- nevermind the backache that would accompany doing so.

She was surprised that she'd managed to keep pace with the other two rather well, pausing for just a bit longer at the water fountain before running after them to catch up. Abigail seemed a little antsier than average and she figured that would bring their run to a halt sooner rather than later.

The more regular exercise wasn't something Lysander had originally put into his schedule but it was something he was glad he made room for. It was a good way to get out of the house and despite her over abundance of energy Abby was a good running partner.

Having Cordelia join them had been a bit trickier but she'd asked, at least sort of, so he'd texted her an invite and she'd agreed. She was keeping up too which was nice. Abby though he could tell she was starting to get tired of running.

"Hey, when we get back to the path out want to stop and find something for dinner?"

At the mention of food she slowed the pace of the group down, eventually giving them a chance to stop and catch their breath. If Lysander was seriously thinking about going to grab food it wouldn't be a bad idea to finish up the rest of the path at a walk to give their muscles a chance to relax as they came back down from the run. "Dinner sounds amazing. No food trucks this time, they're at a different part of town tonight, but... Still a few good places within walking distance, yeah?"

---

Cordelia took a moment to catch her breath, hands resting on her knees for a second. It would never cease to be frustrating how she could feel like she was in the best of shape while powered up, tapping in to that magical stamina and strength, but as a civilian she was still a little soft around the edges and at least a little bit out of shape when it came to long distance runs.

"As long as we don't have to run there," she snorted, pushing herself back up so that she could look between the two.

"Little too much for you?" He grinned slightly as he looked over at Cordelia. "You did better than you said you would. Not as out of shape as you thought." He nudged her shoulder gently before stretching with a groan.

"Walking there though. We could stop by that sandwich place that's up on the corner? They're stuff is always good." And they had a good variety too depending on what everyone else was in the mood for.

"Sounds good to me!" Not that any food at all wouldn't have sounded good to her...

She flashed Lysander a bright smile while tilting her hat slightly to readjust it. She was looking forward to a nice, hot shower later on that night, whenever their band decided to break up and head home. Of course, given their other usual evening activities, that might be much later rather than sooner.

Abigail turned on her heels, walking backwards while regarding the two. She felt confident enough to speak freely about some things around each of them and there didn't seem to be anyone else lingering in the park nearby... This close to dinner time everyone was usually off doing the smart thing and finding food.

"Are we calling it a night after dinner? Or suiting up a quick lap around this part of town? Making sure there aren't any baddies that need busting?"

---

Cordelia didn't always have the highest opinion of Abigail Doyle. She often found the blonde haired pixie obnoxious enough that they didn't tend to spend much time together as civilians-- better to patrol and get things out of the way professionally than to risk being arrested for murder if she spent too much time around her otherwise.

That said, up until this very moment she never would have called Abby stupid. At least not out loud. She'd assumed that the question was directed just to herself and not to both she and Lysander and as a result she simply stared at the other woman, clearly questioning her sanity for asking such a question in the company of anyone else.

Lysander knew Abby was reckless, she had always been, but he'd also assumed there was a limit to her recklessness. She hadn't really ever done anything that could get her killed or outed or anything else up until she opened her mouth. Of course she knew who he was, who else he was, and they did usually patrol after meeting for the evening.

But just saying that out loud?

"What in gods name are you thinking?" It was out of his mouth before he could stop himself, snapping his mouth shut immediately after. Great. Now he was going to have to deal with Cordy asking questions and trying to come up with some answer that actually made sense.

Her eyes shifted to Cordelia in time to catch the way the raven haired woman was staring at her like she'd somehow sprouted a second head. Her lips pressed together and she might have just left it at that, eventually muttering an apology for even asking, had Lysander not started yelling.

Abby cringed and nearly stumbled over her own feet as she took another awkward step backwards before pausing to simply look at the two of them. "I don't know. Maybe I was thinking that it might be easier for three to take on whatever this stupid city might throw at us tonight instead of just one or two? God. It's not like there's anyone else around who could've heard me asking. Sorry."

---

Cordelia was too busy thinking about all of the different ways she could potentially silence Abigail Doyle-- options both temporary and permanent. If she could somehow make it out of this without having to answer any questions she might not murder her. As things were going, though....

Then Lysander piped up and her own brows lofted, a different expression on her face than the one she'd had only moments ago. He'd questioned Abby and in her own defense Abigail had said three instead of just one or two. Three.

Cordelia laughed, the sound coming out as something closer to a low croak or a caw at first, lungs still exhausted from the run. She sputtered and then laughed a little harder, shaking her head slowly. "Go ******** figure."

"Wait ... wh..." His question was cut off by Cordy starting to laugh and he looked over at the other woman. Abby knew he was a senshi and she made two so more than two meant. "Oh for ******** sake, really?"

Abby must not have known that they didn't know. Probably a simple enough mistake given that she knew that they knew each other but that wasn't something that had ever come up between them.

"One, Abby we're going to have a talk about outting people when you're not one hundred present positive who you're talking to. Two, Cordy you're going to have to tell me who now because after all the s**t with my ex I don't need another heart attack alright?"

"The two of you have known each other longer than I've known either of you. How was I supposed to know you hadn't told her? Or that she hadn't figured you out yet?" Abby huffed, crossing her arms over her chest as she glared at the two, lips pressed into a pout. Sure, Lysander was right. She shouldn't really have brought it up if neither of them had confirmed one hundred percent that they knew each other in both walks of life but really. Really?

---

"When you'd mentioned running into your ex I was really hoping you hadn't meant who I thought you might have meant-- and apparently did mean." She'd managed to stop laughing by the time Lysander got serious, wishing that her side wasn't now sore from it. Her lips were now pressed into a slight frown, teeth tugging lightly at her lower lip.

She hadn't wanted to tell Lysander; not because she didn't trust him (that had been more true when they were teenagers and less true now that they had both matured), but because she didn't want him put at risk by being dragged into this mess too. "Too late for that, I suppose," she muttered to herself, shaking her head before looking to him once more. Generally she was outing herself on her own terms...

"I'm not just a fan of corvids because my hair matches their wings."

"You didn't know and that's the whole point Abby. I know you know this but ... for all you know we could hate each other outside of this or something worse." He waved a hand between himself and Cordy as he spoke. "You can't just say things like that. There could have also been a reason we didn't tell each other."

He didn't have a good one other than aside from Abby, and now Mag Mell accidentally, knew who he was. He liked it that way. Kept things less complicated because he didn't need one 'sex life' bleeding into the other one.

When Cordy mentioned corvids he eyed her funny for a moment before it clicked. "Corvus .... Good to know you've turned me down in both lives." He shook his head. "At least you have so far refrained from making any Itsy Bitsy Spider jokes."

Her arms dropped down to her sides and she frowned genuinely at the scolding that she was getting from Lysander. The worst thing about it was that he wasn't yelling. He just sounded so disappointed and it was because of something she'd done... not to mention Cordelia kept shooting disapproving looks her way, like she was in for some sort of trouble at some point.

She didn't want to admit that it would serve her right.

"M'sorry. I just really thought the two of you would have known about each other. I wouldn't actually say anything to anyone else."

---

Lysander was Sailor Arachne. Irritating, infuriating and flirtatious? How had she not managed to figure that out? Did that mean he knew about not just Rikard-- Arin-- but Mag Mell as well?

"God, I think I need to sit down." She murmured, making her way over to a nearby bench. She had done so much to keep the Cosmos Knight safe since his purification, and now that he was involved with Lucien... This made everything infinitely more complicated and she didn't want any of it to roll back on either of them.

"Abigail, I am not going to go easy on you during our next training session. I'm of a mind to not go easy on either of you." Her tone was stern, eyes narrowed as she tried to pull herself back together after sitting down. "Lys... You and I need to talk at some point. Alone. Maybe going for a patrol tonight after dinner isn't a bad idea..."

At the mention of food she saw Abby brighten again and, determined to not let her get a happy note she added on. "I also think Abby just offered to pay for both of us."

He look at Abby for a moment before shaking his head. "All it takes is one slip-up in the wrong place Abby." That wasn't something they could afford. This time it had turned out okay but what if there'd been other friends who it wouldn't have worked out as well with? There were so many options for things to go wrong in their double lives they had to be extra careful.

Cordy's comment made him tip his head back, mouthing a 'why me' at the sky. "If it's about what, and who, I think it is. Can't I just tell you it's fine and not have that talk? Cause it wasn't fun with him either you know." She had to be talking about Rik. He'd known Cordy and someone had to have helped him change sides.

A slight smirk appeared on his lips as he looked over at Abby again. "Thanks Abby, very nice of you to pay for our dinner."

"I... Nn. Fine." She huffed, turning on her heels again to start walking in the direction o the sandwich shop. If she was going to be stuck paying for the two of them she was at least going to get there first and sulk a little while they caught up.

---

Once Abby was far enough in the distance she stood, sighing softly as she looked over to Lysander. "You can tell me it's fine and we can drop it for tonight, but it's probably still a conversation that we should have at some point. Just to clear the air-- unless you'd like to pretend that Abby didn't just out each of us and make it incredibly clear that you have to make sure that whoever you trust with your secret identity isn't a complete moron."

He watched Abby as she huffed off ahead of them and let her for now. She probably needed a few minutes to herself after getting scolded by both of them. "If we have to have it then better to get it out of the way sooner rather than later." He tucked a stray piece of hair back into his bun while they walked.

"She's normally not a complete moron. Usually she's better than that." He didn't know what made Abby think it was okay to out them even thinking that they already knew. "I'll talk to her thought. I sort of feel responsible for her so I think the 'you can't do that' conversation needs to be one I have with her. But do feel free to kick her a** next time you two train."

"She thinks all of this is a game and she doesn't take any of it seriously. She's overdue for an actual training session or she's going to get herself hurt... Or someone else hurt." Cordelia shook her head before bringing her hands up, tugging her hair down out of its ponytail before drawing it back up again. There was a nagging familiarity about Abby when she was powered up as Sailor Thisbe that had always made her feel protective in regards to the blonde.

"I owe you an apology. When we had breakfast your first night back in town I could have told you about Rik-- at least as much as I could have told you, not knowing who you are. I didn't. I thought that I was protecting him, and you. I didn't know that you'd find out about him the-- the way that you did."
