Despite all the time spent at clubs with Chiara, overseeing the facilities and monitoring attendance and performer turnout, Ephias could not help but feel out of place. He stood apart from the crowd gathered on the dance floor, away from the sweaty, gyrating bodies that threatened to crush each other with erotic gesticulations. No one here seemed to to have the intent to maim or kill, but as far as he could there was not much difference in the end result. He had seen more than one troll take an elbow to the ribs on accident. He could not imagine someone coming to a place like this regularly.

Even so, he could not stop himself from bobbing his head to the beat.

After several minutes of waiting, Ephias spotted a familiar head of curls through the crowd. He suddenly straightened, leaning to the left and then the right for a better look. In brief glimpses, he made out the distinctive drill-shaped horns and a band of red. She had shown up after all. Ephias shuffled from side to side, trying to brainstorm a way to catch her lookstub. Once he thought he saw her glance his way and he began to wave, only to have her look away again. His arm fell to his side. He needed something else...

The redblood grabbed a stool from beside the ping pong table. It lit up spectacularly as he stood up on the top of it. Cupping his hands around his mouth, he shouted as loud as he possibly could. Beneath the bone jarring baseline of the music, his voice just barely carried over the crowd, a single “Hey!”

As the music boomed, Tevini watched the other trolls dance. Leaning against the bar, she wondered how their new temp bartender would perform tonight. It wasn't a hard job so they should be able to handle it- she just liked to make sure everything was running smoothly. While Underworld wasn't her project, she did feel a sense of responsibility to it. It was still her home.

Even after all this time it felt weird to call a dayclub her home. Tonight she was even having a friend over.

'Where are you?' Tevini scanned the dance floor, unsure of where Ephias would appear from. She didn't know the other redblood very well but had met him a few times by now. It was still unclear to her what his relationship with Etsali was but maybe she'd get to find out tonight. Any new information about the orangeblood was welcome. Then a voice startled her and she saw a bush of hair peeking out over the rest of the crowd. What was he doing!? Flushing, Tevini immediately started on her way over to him so he'd get down. She didn't want to draw more attention.

"I'm here! Sorry, I didn't know where to look for you." The redblood apologized as she approached. She wasn't quite sure what to say and so she glanced at the blaringly bright table next to them.

"I didn't think you the ping pong type." She added with a small wry smile.
