 Aelius was sitting on a swing in the park, he held on to the chains and lightly swung himself. He was just relaxing before he had to head back to the dorms. He could have lived with his mommy daddy and brother but decided he wanted to live in the dorms instead. He was kinda hoping to get a roommate sometime soon. He had enjoyed playing with some of the other freshlings on the playground but hadn't really made a real friend just yet. He was hoping he would make a friend though since he wanted to build a group of friends and be a little more outgoing than his mommy was, she was really shy like his brother was.

 Snow had recently decided to start staying at the academy, having wanted to get more into schooling ever since his mother and father encouraged him to follow his passion of learning. He liked his family, but being at the school would make it easier for him to get to classes and meet with fellow students. Today Snow was simply out and about, doing some exercise to get ready for his new hobby, ice skating. While he was about to start some laps around the playground, he noticed a freshling that he had never seen before. They had the most beautiful long ears and multiple fluffy tails, and their horns just made them look nice as well. They were pretty, and Snow felt he had to say something. He wouldn't be able to focus on his running if he simply just stayed quiet. Without hesitation, he went over to the freshling and waved at them ", Hello! My name is Snow Ivy. What is your name?"

Aelius Jr smiled and said "Hello, well my name is Aelius Jr, but I wonder if I should have a nick name or something", Aelius pondered, as he slowly swung himself. "It's nice to meet you, Snow Ivy." Aelius said in a warm tone. Aelius wasn't sure what to say next, he wanted to be more out going but he did still have his mom's blood line and she was painfully shy, what did you do next after someone said hi to you and you introduced yourself to each other? Aelius pondered the question to himself, and then his mind drifted to doing finger painting.

"So there is a reason I came over here to speak with you," Snow began to explain, giving them a gentle smile. This freshling seemed nice, but had a sort of shy side to them despite them being open to talking with him. Maybe they were trying to be outgoing but had a more shy tendency? Whatever the reason, Snow wouldn't mind getting to know Aelius more ", I was about to start my jog around the playground, to train for my ice skating, when I noticed you on the swing. I just couldn't help but notice, because you are really pretty! I like your ears specifically, so unique and pretty!"

Aelius listened to Snow as they spoke about jogging and training for ice skating, Aelius had never been ice skating before. He blushed a little bit when Snow complimented his looks and his ears. He touched them lightly and then said "Umm thank you?" Aelius got up from the swing. He was a little uncomfortable with the conversation. He wasn't used to people complimenting him. He hadn't been picked on either, but besides trying to be a little more out going he was still a little on the shy side. So the lime light wasn't Aelius' spot. He shuffled on his feet and his twins tails swung showing his discomfort.

He noticed how uncomfortable Aelius looked after he mentioned he thought the other was pretty, a blush forming on his cheeks at realizing what he did. Oh my... he had told a stranger they were pretty! What had he been thinking? Now Aelius looked so uncomfortable right now, and he didn't want that. He didn't mean to make them uncomfortable. He simply wanted to give them a compliment, and maybe give them a happy day. Perhaps he still could? ", I am sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable, but I couldn't help myself. You really are pretty, and you seem so nice too! Maybe... we could play together some to get to know each other better?"

Aeluis Jr blushed again a little and then said "It's alright you didn't know, umm I'm just not used to being in the spotlight, most beings don't really point out my hallowed features upon first meeting, my mommy has these ears too." Aelius said softly "Umm well thank you, you seem nice too though more forward than I am used to." Aelius said spelling out part of his discomfort the last being he had spoken to was a doll who had been merely trying to help Aelius with his computer science homework. They hadn't complimented him or made him a little nervous like this freshling. Aelius wasn't angry but he was a little uncomfortable.

"I am a little forward I admit," Snow chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. Aedius really was a shy one, but Snow didn't mind that. He simply wanted to be their friend ", My parents taught me to meet new people to gain a better understanding of others, so I grew up a little bit of a talker. I like giving people compliments. Anyhow... shall we play together then? We could see who can swing higher on the swings? Or we could see who can run the fastest. If you don't want to be competitive, we can play pretend?"

Aelius shook his head and said "No thank you, I think I better get back to the dorm now, before the caretakers start looking for me, maybe another time." Aelius didn't think he was comfortable hanging out with Snow for very long, Snow clearly didn't mean to, but they made Aelius very uncomfortable. Aelius Jr just wanted to get back to the dorm and go back to reading his books, for now, he was social interaction-ed out for the day. Aelius bid Snow good bye and took his leave of the other freshling as quickly as he could, that had been the first time someone had commented on his ears and it made him very self-aware. Before Aelius had never really thought of himself as a hollow, since his whole family were hallows. Having someone so bluntly compliment his ears felt strange to him. (Sorry >.< )

Snow just wanted to give the pretty nightmare a compliment. smile Snow didn't know what to say, feeling bad that they had made Aelius feel so embarrassed about their ears. He just liked them so much, and he didn't even realize they were hallow ears. Maybe if he gave the other some time then the two could become friends? ", Well... I hope we can play together at a different time! Have a good day!" He waved the other goodbye, hoping things would in the future get better between them. Maybe today instead of training he could go see some of his siblings and hang out with them? Yeah, that sounded good! He hadn't seen Tyrus in a while, so why not see them and tell them about his day? Fade to black
