Kylian doesn't like being around others, and will almost never share personal information. He doesn't like others knowing much about him, and people being overly caring toward him is weird. He also hates being touched, particularly in "cutesy" ways. He's just not used to people, in all honesty.

Kylian is always at his utmost politeness. He doesn't talk much, but when he does, it's almost guaranteed that he won't say a harsh word to anyone. He tries to be on constant guard so as not to offend anyone. Offending people means more drama, and he really doesn't like drama.

Kylian loves studying. His sister jokes that his nose is glued into books. He'll study on any topic, regardless of whether or not it pertains to him. He studied from his sister's old school books from a very early age. He learned to read before most other skills, and he's perfected the trait over his years.

Kylian values himself as creative, though he doesn't ever share his art with anyone. Unfortunately, his creativity doesn't go far into his thinking, but he doesn't mind. He instead uses his creativity as an outlet for being constantly prim and proper.

Kylian thinks with an incredibly logical process. He usually does oodles of research before doing anything, and refuses to do anything without considering the negative implications. His thoughts never stray, but always flows in perfect order.

Though Kylian doesn't consider himself shy, he really is. He doesn't like being around other people, and absolutely dreads having to be in crowds. He avoids speaking whenever possible, and goes out of his way to avoid being where people might be.

Kylian was born to an incredibly French Pureblood family. Normally, that'd be a great thing... except he wasn't born in France. He was born two months prematurely while his mother was in a vacation in England. Ever since, he has had a bit of resentment for all his cousins and his sister herself, as all got to go to Beauxbatons. Doing some research, he discovered he was one of the only members in the long line of Marteaus to not go to Beauxbatons. He distracted himself by learning violin and teaching himself to draw, but every time a cousin came home from school and shared stories of the wonder, Ky would get all sad again. He grew to hate the end of school terms, thinking Hogwarts couldn't nearly live up to his scholarly expectations. Sure enough, at Eleven, he was sent a letter to Hogwarts. His sister, who knew of his feelings toward the school, got him a few books all about the history. After doing all his shopping and preparing, he went to a train platform in London. This was certainly different. As he boarded the train, Kylian looked back to see his parents and sister waving him off to have fun, though he highly doubted such a thing.

Upon entry to Hogwarts, Kylian was quickly sorted into Ravenclaw, supposedly the house of great intelligence. Luckily, he found most of his classes rather easy, focusing on those rather than his lack of friends. He'd make them soon enough. He studied hard, making a few odd acquaintances through art or music, but not much beyond that. He did, however, do pretty well on his OWL exams, despite his initial dislike for Hogwarts, he does rather enjoy the school.
