Characters"Could you say that again into the recorder?... Never Mind it got it." "I will find what you're hiding." "And that's the headline" Pictures »Name: Hazel Current~Zel »Age: 23~January 20~ Aquarius »Color: Shades of Brown »Aura Form: Floating/Falling Letters »Status: Huntress/Reporter »Gender: Female »Species: Human »Blood Type: B »Height: 5'5" »Weight: 140 lb »Alignment: Neutral Good »Pets: Cat named Stormy »Appearance Notes: Hazel has long light brown hair that reaches her mid-back and warm brown eyes. She can usually be seen wearing warm browns and a hat. She likes to wear scarves and hats (when it's cool enough out of course) and wears comfortable close unless having a reason to do otherwise. She can usually be seen carrying a suitcase. »Likes: Being cozy (but not too warm), soft things, coffee, chocolate, crisp fall days, finding more information, adventure »Dislikes: Being cold, Hot summer days, being roadblocked from a story, seeing people hurt, being threatened »Strengths: Passionate, unwavering, determined, knows how to protect herself, smart »Weaknesses: Gets tunnel visions when it comes to a story, gets herself into dangerous situations, sees consequences but doesn't really care, throws herself into work and had a hard time forming substantial long-term relationships with people »Personality:Hazel is curious by nature, a good thing too or she wouldn't make a very good reporter. She is passionate about the truth and hates seeing people get hurt. She is one of the honest reporters that refuses to write a story that's inaccurate just to get more readers. She is gentle and compassionate, but at the same time unmoving when it comes to her belief or discovering the truth in a story. Is is passionate about what she does and will not be swayed when it comes to what she believes is right. She is understanding but uncompromising when it comes to what's important. She hates to see people hurt and does what she can to help others. She wants to know as much as possible, whether or not it ends up in a story (which sometimes she chose not to publish stories depending on the situation). That being said she is very intelligent and knows how to appeal to people to get information out of them. She never never directly lies to them, or is blatantly dishonest but knows how to work people to get the information she needs to write a story. She's been seen as nosy and interfering well more than once but doesn't back down regardless of what danger may or may not present itself because of it. »Weapon:Hazel has three separate weapons. Perfect Shot Hazel's camera she uses to get 'that shot' for her stories. In addition to being a camera it also transforms into a sniper rifle using the lens as the scope. (Use the picture as reference but it's a full sniper rifle) Overnight The Bag Hazel keeps her writing supplies, recorder and extra film. It is also made up a surprisingly heavy metal that can block most attacks and also hurts with when hit. That's it, no transformations. Her last weapon she caries is just a simple dagger she caries in case someones does get in closer and she has to protect herself. The dagger is infused with earth dust. »Semblance:Exclusive Break Hazel has a unique ability that comes in handy for journalism, not so much in a battle. Her Semblance is the Ability to create a small ball of Aura and control it. The ball of Aura is approximately the size of a golf ball, by controlling this she can move it though open windows or cracked doors. The useful bit? She can 'see and hear' what is happening around her Aura as if she was in the same room with it. The catch? Like all Aura it has a bit of a glow when in use so she has to be careful to not be spotted. She can only control it for about 10 minutes at a time with a 30 minute cool down between uses. She can only control it within a half mile of her original body, and when she controls it she has no awareness of what's actually happening to her body, meaning she could be kidnapped and have no idea until she 'returned' to her body (or killed in which case her consciousness would die instantly as well though that is untested and we're avoiding that extreme). After 'returning' to her body it leaves her rather drained and out of sorts for about another 10 minutes while her consciousness 're-acclimatizes' to her body again. »Back Story: Hazel grew up an only child to her parents who ran a newspaper company. While newspapers aren't as popular as they once were it always seemed to do well enough to get by. From a young age Hazel had a curiosity that her parents encouraged due to the nature of their business. From a young age she would mimic her parents (or as they got older other reporters) and follow fellow students and even teachers around to figure out what they were doing, to much of their annoyance. However she was good at what she did, one of the best as a matter of a fact. She followed the facts, trusted her gut and was usually right. One year (The year before she joined Beacon)she caught wind of a certain family of thieves that were robbing from local businesses, hurting their livelihood and benefiting the large corporation in the area. After doing some digging she found out they were being paid from the larger corporation to run the families out of business. She was working on the story when confronted by the younger brother of the family who had noticed her snooping. After a confrontation he realized he was hurting people and left his family to join beacon. Reporting wasn't her only passion though, she saw all the stories pass through the newspaper about Grimm attacks and wanted to help protect people. She attended Signal and Beacon to learn how to fight and protect both herself and others. After graduating she took on a full time reporter position at her parents company. She helped them set up a way to deliver the newspaper to scrolls as well as paper to boost their business and completed her job as a huntress in between her reporting activities."With enough focus anything is obtainable." "Just because you don't want to change, it doesn't mean that others can't." Pictures »Name: Viridian Sky »Color(s): When he was younger it was a dark teal, but as his ideals changed and he chose to leave his old life behind it changed to a deep dark blue, this is usually accompanied by black and white »Status: Huntsman »Age: 23 »Birthday: September 5th - Virgo »Gender: Male »Species: Faunus - Raccoon »Trait: Tail »Aura Form: Blue Elctricity »Alignment: Lawful Good »Sin: Envy »Personality: Viridian is the kind of person who sets a goal and focuses everything he has on that. This quality can be great when it comes to projects, as he will see them through to the end, but it can also lead to shortsightedness and even neglect when it comes to other things. However, his determination and dedication are unmatched and with a few reminders he can see that sometimes it pays to slow down kand take a break. He is intelligent and loves to solve puzzles and come up with solutions to difficult problems. Overall, he is laid back and calm, rarely getting riled up or stressed. He can become frustrated at times, especially if he's interupted, but he's quick to recover and even quicker to appear unphased. He would rather finese his way through a problem than force his way and if at all possible make it seem as if there was no problem in the first place. »Weapon: Circuit Breaker. Viridian carries two daggers that he keeps hidden on his thighs. One of the daggers has a length of rope in its hilt and the other has yellow dust. When combined, the daggers make a crossbow that can shoot either electric bolts or grappling bolts. »Semblance: Extreme Focus. He can double one of his senses at the expense of all of his other ones. Each other ability is halved during the duration of its use. This takes all of his focus and because of that he can only maintain it for a short time. At a maximum, he can use it for ten minutes with a twenty minute cool down. However, more often than not, he just uses it for one or two minutes and it only takes two or three minutes to cool down. It also leaves him rather vulnerable so he doesn't use it often while fighting. It manifests as blue lightning in the shape of something related to the sense he's using. Headphones for hearing, a visor for sight and so on. »Likes: Sleeping, Order, Food, Puzzles, Fireplaces, Fancy Wine, Finishing Tasks, Coffee, »Dislikes: Being Used, Thunderstorms, Waking Up Early, Sickness, Politics, Smelly Things, Loud Places, Interuptions »Bio: Viridian was born into a family of thieves, who made their money by taking jobs from some of the more questionable people in town. He learned all the tools of the trade, from picking locks and pockets to pulling off cons and anything inbetween. As he and his three siblings grew older, they each began to specialize in different kinds of theft. His older brother could play any part perfectly and became quite the con man. His younger twin sisters were agile and able to fit into those tight spaces that neither of the boys could manage and they would cover the jobs that required such skills. Viridian, however, was intelligent and knew just how to break into anywhere. He could pick locks and break codes better than the others all while leaving no trace. Just before he turned 17, his family received a big job from a large company that was annoyed by the number of competition cropping up in the area. Their job was simple enough and at first getting rid of did competition was easy. However, after a few jobs Viridian found that they were being watched by someone. When he confronted her, he discovered that she was a journalist and she called him out on what he was doing. Though he had known the effects his actions had, he had never really put much thought into it. That day he decided to leave that life behind and prove that he could be more than a thief. He joined beacon with the journalist and became a huntsman. Now he uses the skills he learned as a kid to fight Grimm, help those affected by his family, and occasionally get a scoop. "Time to Die Monster" "I don't know why they are here, nor do I care. I'll kill as many as I can, that's my Job." "It means nothing if you can't enjoy your job, and I love what I do" "My Job is to protect Humans and Faunus alike. And that's jusst what I'll do." Pictures »Name: Leon Helsing Nighthollow~ Leo, Helsing »Name Inspiration: His first name is Leon in reference to the power of a golden lion. (His Middle name is purely to reference his inspiration). His last name references the deep blue of the night. »Colors: A Dark night blue with gold embellishments »Status: Atlas Soldier Huntsman »Age: 31~ Feb 9~ Aquarious »Gender: Male »Species: Human »Family: He has a mother and a father (Still alive) and no siblings »Appearance Notes: He has blue eyes and light brown hair that in certain lighting's looks more blond than brown. He's 5'10" and weighs 150. He wears a uniform, though not that of the military force in Remnant. He carries himself well and takes care of his appearance. »Blood Type: O »Alignment: Neutral Good »Element: Fire »7 Sin that best represents him: Pride »Patience: High »Voice: Smooth, Confident and on-task »Partner: None, He works Alone »Personality:Leon is a driven and disciplined individual. He takes pride in his appearance and makes sure he is presentable. He can be a bit egotistical at times, but all in good fun. He holds himself and those around him to higher standard. This applies more to to himself. He's conditioned and trained his body to create himself into a weapon of sorts and more than competent in a fight. That being said, while he is focused while on missions, and at times tactical, he still has a calm air around him. He's not high strung like a lot of the people in the military tend to be. He's good at what he does and enjoys it. When 'off mission' he's usually laid back and easy to get along with. He makes sure he's always prepared for anything but doesn't let that stop him from having fun. That being said he is a bit of a work-a-holic not because he's obsessed with the job but because that's all he has, if something else came up he'd probably be open to it, once his current mission is finished of course. »Weapons:Silver and Stake Leon has a twin set of pistols He does generally uses regular bullets however he also has special dust bullets he will use. The two guns also connect barrel to the back of the gun to form a larger gun that shoots larger bullets »Semblance:Monster Slayer Leon is naturally stronger when battling Grimm. The reason for this lays in his semblance. The reason for this is unknown, whether because of his determination against Grimm or just because that's how his semblance works. Regardless, when battling a creature of Grimm both his agility and accuracy are significantly increased. That being said the two stats are only about half as powerful as someone with one of those boosts at his level. He has however been able to train them to the extent he can and made them work for his fighting style. These Boosts last for a maximum of 30 minutes with an hour cool down afterwards. In the rare even he uses them in a row right after the cool down (say in a VERY lengthy battle) he can do it a maximum of 3 times. After which he has to wait 8 hours before his Aura has been refueled and he's able to use it again. »Skills&Abilities: Cooking Hitting a target Analyzing a battle Taking care of his weapons Stargazing »Likes: The Rush of Adrenaline, Killing Grimm and helping people. »Dislikes: Losing, Seeing people get hurt, people who let others get hurt. »Strengths: Battle Smart, very capable fighter, Isn't concerned with how people see him, determined, doesn't need approval. »Weaknesses: Tends to hold grudges, doesn't let go of things, doesn't always pick up on social cues, can be oblivious to over peoples feelings/situations, gets tunnel vision. »Fear: Not being able to protect someone from being killed »BackStory:Leon was born and raised in Atlas. From a young age he knew about Grimm and the destruction they brought. Due to the nature of the Remnant and the Grimm, he started learning to fight at a young age, having a strong natural desire to protect the people around him from the Grimm. That being said, because of the nature of Atlas, he was immersed into the military environment early on. Immersed in this environment he found he had a natural talent for fighting. He didn't use that as an excuse though. He trained through determination and drive to become better in his own right. He trained himself to fight with weapons but also to be able to manage without them. He attended Atlas's Combat School when he was old enough and upon graduation attended Atlas Academy. That being said, despite his keen mind when it came to battle. Any classes not related to battle he was often bored and uninterested by. As such he didn't do quite as well in his classes but did well enough to still get by. In his 3rd year one of his friends, who was a few years older than him and had already entered the atlas military, was killed By Grimm. Despite his already existing desire help people against Grimm, at that point it became personal and he vowed to kill Grimm so no one else had to loose anyone to Grimm again. He graduated in the top percent of his physical classes at Atlas Academy and, Upon graduation, he went directly into the Atlas Military who offered him a position. He continued his training and quickly become one of their best ground soldiers when it came to fighting Grimm. He spent 6 years in the Atlas military, raising up the ranks and going on missions. However it didn't last. After their previous general stepped down he quickly noticed a change in the command. While their goal was still obviously saving people from Grimm they had less mission. Robots replaced them on the battle field. And while they did their job they often cost the life of civilians he could of saved while doing it himself. A year after Ironwood stepped up he resigned from the Army. He chose to work as a huntsman of remnant rather than a soldier of Atlas where he could continue to save people on his terms"The trick to telling a good lie is knowing who will fall for it." "I would say something like, 'the world is my stage,' but who really talks like that." Pictures »Name: Neil Sky »Color(s): Any color (?) ranging from black to white, though he favors a dark gray »Status: Freelancer »Age: 25 »Birthday: October 30th - Scorpio »Gender: Male »Species: Faunus - Raccoon »Trait: Teeth - Most easily noticed in his slightly larger than normal canines »Aura Form: fogged up glass, if his shield is overpowered it appears as if it is shattering like glass »Alignment: True Neutral »Sin: Pride »Personality: Niel is the kind of person that can talk to you as if he's known you forever. He's charismatic and friendly and everything a good conman should be. He can portray many different personas with ease and adapt to the situation as needed. Despite this, he is slow to open up to others and even slower to trust others. He's afraid of big commitments and hates to be tied down by anyone other than his family, which he values more than anything else. »Weapon: Last Resort. He uses his a wide belt that he uses as a weapon if he is forced to fight. It has a special buckle that can, when combined with two attachable pieces he keeps hidden in the sole of his shoes, turn his belt into a short double barrel shotgun. He almost never will use this mode, however, because it's just too much of a pain in his opinion. »Semblance: Second Chance. Niel can produce aura shields around himself that prevent him from taking damage and pushes the threat back with a small amount of force. The shields have about as much strength as bullet proof glass. However, this ability only works when he isn't paying attention to or is caught off guard by the attacker. It is an instinctual reaction and therefore he has no control over it. However, once an attack has been stopped by one of these shields, another one with not form for another minute. »Likes: His family, Acting, Challenges, Chocolate Cake, Nice Shoes »Dislikes: Traitors, Journalists, Nosy People, Failing, Doing Menial Labor »Bio: Niel was raised as a con man from the day he could talk. His family worked as thieves, offering their service to anyone who was interested. While other kids learned be productive members of society, he was taught how to lie, cheat, and steal. It became clear as he grew older that while he could do the physical tasks just as well as his siblings, he prefered and even excelled at talking people into simply handing over whatever he needed. He could play any role with ease and seemed to have little trouble getting others to trust him. As he grew older, it became clear that his parents were hardly suitable for raising four children, so he took the responsibility upon himself. His mother was narcissistic and only cared about herself. She only loved them so long as they were useful. Their father was only focused on his reputation and had little time to raise children. When he was 18, his brother leftthem and left to study at Beacon after meeting a journalist. He tried to talk Viridian out of it, but his brother was determined. Neil took it harder than anyone else in the family. To him family wasn't just something you could leave behind. Even if you didn't always agree with them. Soon after, their little business started to decline. They had to partner up with other groups to get jobs, much to his father's displeasure. After a lot of searching and quite a few risky endeavors, he was able to get in touch with someone who knew a way to solve their problems. They led him to a man with a large operation and need that his family could meet."I don't know which is better: stealing something or getting away with it." "Do you think it'd be ironic to steal a game about thieves?" Pictures »Name: Kiera Sky »Color(s): Her colors are the colors of the sunset, such as purple, pink, and orange, along with a healthy splash of black »Status: Freelancer »Age: 20 »Birthday: June 10th ~ Gemini »Gender: Female »Species: Faunus - Raccoon »Trait: Ears »Aura Form: Feathers that fade from orange to pink and finally purple, imitating a sunset »Alignment: Chaotic Nuetral »Sin: Gluttony »Personality: Despite being the older of the two, Kiera let he twin sister Aurora take the lead in almost everything they do. She prefers to enjoy the ride without the stress of making decisions. Very much the kind of person to live in the moment, she often fails to see the consequences of her actions. If something doesn't go her way, she is quick to escape and even quicker to let the blame fall on someone else. However, that isn't to say that she dislikes being the center of attention. In fact, she's always happy to put on a good show, just so long as she doesn't get bored. Most of the time she can come across as playful and harmless, however, she has been know to lose her temper when she doesn't get her way. »Weapon: Cheat Codes. Her first weapon is a pair of gloves with retractable claws at the fingertips that are sharp enough to cut glass. In addition to that she wears wrist guards that are infused with gravity dust that she uses to make her opponent lighter and her punches more effective. They can also be loaded with darts that can be used for ranged fights, but she doesn't really relay on them much. »Semblance: Feather Weight. Kiera can manipulate gravity to make her body weigh less and her step lighter. This can be strengthened by gravity dust allowing her to perform acrobatic feats that would ordinarily be too difficult for her and making it possible to jump farther and higher. With her full concentration, this effect can last for up to 10 minutes with a twenty minute cool down. However, after about 5 minutes the effects of her manipulation declines exponentially by half for each minute that she continues to use it. Like any physical ability this is very draining and she will need to rest afterwords and if she isn't careful she can injure herself badly. »Likes: Video Games, Aurora, Caffeine, Driving fast with the windows down, The moon »Dislikes: Being bored, Politics, Bland food, Cooking, Bright lights »Bio: Kiera learned from a young age that life was a lot less depressing if you treated it like a game. There were no consequences in games and you could do what ever you wanted. If you had to learn how to do something, pretend you were playing a game. If you felt lonely and ignored, pretend that there was an adventure waiting for you. For the most part it worked. She was able to ignore the negative feelings she had and she grew up with little With every job that her parents gave her, she pushed herself to do better and to beat her record. Sometimes, she risked a little too much to do so, but that was why Aurora was there. Her twin kept her on track and make sure everything went according to plan. As long as her sister was there nothing could go wrong. As they grew older, her sister grew more distant and Kiera grew more dependant. No matter what she did Aurora always seemed more focused on something else. It was around this time that their brother, Viridian left. She didn't know why and Neil refused to say anything about it. It became her biggest fear that the same thing would happen with Aurora, so she became even more attached to her. Refusing to leave her side. At first, the attention annoyed her twin, but after a while she became more than happy to use her. "By all means, please judge this book by its cover." "It's all just a game in the end." Pictures »Name: Aurora Sky »Color(s): Her colors are the colors of a sunrise, such as yellow, orange, and red, accompanied by a slight hint of black »Status: Freelancer »Age: 20 »Birthday: June 10th ~ Gemini »Gender: Female »Species: Faunus - Raccoon »Trait: Ears »Aura Form: A thin fog that looks as if it is reflecting a sunrise. »Alignment: Chaotic Evil »Sin: Wrath »Personality: Aurora is the younger of the Sky twins, but that doesn't stop her from acting like the older of the two. She is often the one who decides what jobs they will take and meticulously plans out each move they make. To her sister, it is just another game to be played, but to her it is much more. She loves the challenge and craves the response her victims give when they discover what they are missing. Despite this, however, she hates to actually dirty her hands by fighting, only doing so if it's necessary. Her playful attitude is laced with hint of something more, though few can place just what they sense behind that smile. To her, hiding her true nature is as much a part of the game as any. »Weapon: Plans B and C. Aurora has a whip that she is quite skilled at using to grab things and is strong enough to hold her weight. In addition to that she carries a pistol with a night vision scope that she can use at a surprisingly long range of 150 yards. »Semblance: Smoke Screen. Aurora can use steam dust to create a screen that she can project a 2D image onto. By showing an empty room, hallway, etc. she can fool cameras and any other similar recording device into thinking that whatever is behind the screen is not there. With her full concentration, she can make the image last for 5 minutes uninterrupted. This has a 10 minute cool down and of course requires a consistent supply of steam. Generally, she'll use it for about a minute at a time with a two minute cool down. »Likes: Stealing, Making others feel foolish, Cute stuffed animals, Candy, Forests »Dislikes: Children, Messes, Fighting, People who are think they are smarter than her, The smell of burning rubber »Bio: Being the youngest in a family of thieves meant that you were either spoiled or completely ignored. In Aurora's case it meant the latter. Sure she had a twin who was constantly by her side and two brothers who took care of her as best as they could, but the one person she looked up to, her mother, couldn't be bothered with children such as them. So, she decided that she needed to prove that she was someone worthy of her attention. She learned everything she could about become the perfect thief. Like the rest of her siblings, she was taught all of the skills, but she also had something that none of them could be taught. She was able to think through any outcome and strategize a way around it. At first her mother seemed to be proud of her success, but it proved to only last a short time. That was when Aurora began to copy her mother's every move. Soon, she could hardly see any difference at all. Still, her mother didn't seem to care and eventually she grew tired of trying. However, by that point she had already become someone else. So, she decided to stop trying to make someone else happy and do what she wanted. Which, was to make other people as miserable as her. "Handle your business without people knowing your business."
Picture Name~_ Jerome Blackwater_ Age~ 32 Gender~_ Male_ Status~_ Freelance/Villain_ Species~_ Human_ Height~_ 5'10"_ Blood Type~_ AB_ Appearance Notes~_ Jerome has two different colored eyes. As a believe in experimentation many people believe it's the result of some experiment he had done on himself but.... it could very well be natural too. Jerome often wears suits, either without the jacket and has long shaggy hair._ Likes~_ Power, Wealth, Money, conquest and a little bit of chaos_ Dislikes~_ People who threaten the social order, weakness_ Strengths~_ Very Intelligent, knows how to asses the room and people in it, he's dedicated to his causes (Though the case isn't necessarily a good one)_ Weaknesses~_ Pride and Ego. Though he can often back these up he builds himself up in his head. Also... a disregard for individual lives_ Fear~_ Losing Everything_ ~Weapon~ Conqueror A pipe he carries. Yes, a pipe he smokes tobacco with. The pipe over all appears rather thin and frail but it's a carefully crafted weapon. Under the tobacco is a container of highly concentrated explosive dust bullets. He can either shoot these through the length of the pipe causing explosions or use the heat from the smoke and convert the bullets to smoke which he can use his semblance to manipulate to his will whether to suffocate, as a diversion, etc. He also carries feather on his pipe that are actually razor sharp with a pointed end he will us like darts quite a strong accuracy. ~Semblance~ Smoke and Mirrors _Smoke manipulation. He can use his own from his pipe, already existing to create smoke with a fire of explosion. His ability allows him to direct and shape smoke to his choosing. Whether creating a smoky illusion of a figure on a battle ground or following someone, hanging around a person, etc. ~Personality~ Jerome actually appears as a rather pleasant, charismatic and intelligent individual. He knows how to fit into social situations, similar to Lucas. He does so easily covering the fact he's is sociopathic with little to no regard for individual lives when it goes to his goal or to get an answer. He is fascinated by experimentation, though he doesn't do it himself, demanding perfection. He has no regard for laws except when it comes to keeping up the appearance of following them. He is keen minded and a chess player who thinks 20 steps ahead. Her very Rarely fights himself now but still trains and can if needed. ~Bio~ Jerome was previously a military man. He grew up in a distant a cold household, went to a school to become a hunter and then joined the military, quickly rising up the ranks. People who met him loved him and always felt he was a very pleasant person to be around. People who spent a lot of time around him could sense something.... off but never pin point it. When in the military he was placed in charge of an experimental program to create the perfect soldiers, people whose semblances and Aura have been fine tuned and follow orders no matter what the job. What the didn't know is that Jerome did his job quite literally, trying to get rid of all ideas of right and wrong and creating perfect killing machines out of orphans he used as test subjects. Even the military didn't know to what degree he had his scientists work. The project was shut down when they figured it out, but the training was too far progressed. Because of the nature of the experiments the military couldn't, or didn't, acknowledge they existed. Jerome was discharged, though not dishonorably or they would of had to acknowledge the reason behind it. They tried to kill the subjects but instead they massacred everyone... well everyone except Jerome who had already been discharged. With the business being doing the military swept it under the rug After his military career he adjusted into business the business world. His quick brain made it easy for him to set up as a successful tobacco supplier and rare arts dealer all across Remnant. However, old habits die hard and he also got himself more involved in the shady side of the business world as well. Jerome, who had always gotten along well with the business upper class, started his own business or rare items while continuing to fund his little experiments by providing hard to get items (legal and illegal) to various companies. Not long after setting up his empire he ran into two people who were of interest of him. His previous subjects were running around alive and well. He was able to get in contact with the tho who were doing odd mercenary jobs. He offered them an opportunity with him for higher end and better paying position. The two, with their mental wiring as it was, didn't much care he had run the experiments on them, in fact almost saw him as a father figure. The offer seemed to make sense and they agreed. One of his 'jobs' involved a group called Grimoire Heart that he funded and supported due to the White Fang's problems with one of his business partners. The job however was over it began, with a lack of support from members he saw it ending badly. He eventually pulled himself and who two accommodates out leaving the remainder of the group to do as they wanted. Since then he has continued his work as he always has, keeping all his plans and behinds the scenes workings to himself.Pictures Name~ Shadow Status~ Freelancer Age~ 20~ Oct 30~ Scorpio Gender~ Female Species~ Human Family~ Dead Blood Type~ O Alignment~ True Neutral Partner~ Lucas~ The closest she has to a friend, Shadow and Lucas have a mutually beneficial relationship and trust each other to have the others backs... but they don't qualify as friends.~ ~Personality~ Shadow doesn't talk very often, she watches, observes and calculates. She's emotionless when it comes to daily life or killing and is someone that you don't want as you enemy and even on her side many people are scared of her. The she is deadly accurate when she is focused. If she becomes unfocused, which never happens in battle, she is known to be a bit of a scatterbrain, ironically, or even lacking purpose.. ~Weapon~ Deadly Shadow Dual blades can also combine to form a larger dagger she can use. When not in use edges dull for easy storage in her boots, or anywhere else. ~Semblance~ Moving Shadows Uses bodily energy to expand her molecules and temporarily turn her body into a gaseous for that looks like a black shadow. She can bring something she's touching with her, which attacks fly right through. She can also use this form to get into locked places by slipping through cracks in walls, window panes, etc (Unless the room has an air tight seal). Because she uses bodily energy the more of her self she changes to shadows or the more often she uses it, the more energy she uses, which drains her very quickly. When she runs out of energy she's pretty much useless, and can put herself in an unconscious state. Because her appearance changes to a black gaseous start that resembles a shadow it's only really discrete when used within a shadow. Meaning if there is a lot of light and no shadows she can still use semblance, but it's just going to look like a random, roughly humanoid black cloud/gas substance. ~Skills&Abilities~ Shadow is fast and durable. She's an expert on martial arts and knows how to sneak up on people without a sound. She is flexible and knows how to disappear. Likes~ Dark, Lucas I suppose, peace, quiet Dislikes~ Loud people, bright places, People who get in her way, obnoxious people.. Strengths~ High foot speed, dodge ability and ability to blend into shadows. Weaknesses~ Light, Little regard for others lives and scatter brained/emotionless when not focused on a mission. ~Backstory~ Shadow was an orphan who's parents were killed in a fire when she was 7. She sneaked onto ships and survived by moving from job to job with little success. She was about dead when she was found by the Altlas military hoping to train her as a soldier from a young age in the same program Lucas was in. They taught her how to kill using her semblances. They also experimented on her, and between the experiments and her training she was left emotionless,. The result makes it hard for her to function in social situations which was where Lucas comes in. Together their differences made a perfect team. However her lack of emotions became a problem when she killed any and everyone without batting an eyelash. The program was eventually canceled. Because it was an undercover operation they couldn't have her officially retained so were forced to try and kill her. She was 16 when Lucas and herself instead killed all of them and left. Unsure what to do with themselves him they worked as mercenaries for a while. They were found by Jerome, the man who had initially been in charge of their experiments two years later. Unlike the scientists he had always seen potential in her lack of emotion. He recruited her and Lucas to work for him doing higher paying jobs. Shadow had no particular emotion and if anything saw him more as a father figure that had created her. One of these jobs he had them complete included acting as figure heads of the Grimoire Heart. When that started to collapse he cut his loses but pulled out Shadow and Lucas as he saw them as useful to future endeavors. Currently Lucas and Shadow work as mercenaries for hire (if business if dead) or completing requests from Jerome.Pictures Name~ Lucas Finale Status~ Freelancer Age~ 21~ November 10~ Scorpio Gender~ Male Species~ Human Family~ Deceased Blood Type~ AB Alignment~ Chaotic Neutral Partner~ Shadow~ The closest he has to a friend, Shadow and Lucas have a mutually beneficial relationship and trust each other to have the others backs... but they don't qualify as friends.~ ~Personality~ Lucas is a driven individual who gets what he wants when he sets his mind to something. He's highly driven, charismatic and charming. He generally prefers to wear nice suits. That being said he also has little regard for other peoples lives and is cold and definitely not a person you would want to trust to have your back, though the exception seems to be Shadow. Unlike Jerome though he has less control, planning and doesn't adjust who he is to the situation. He seems have a mafia like attitude about him. He's cocky, trigger happy dresses nice and is always looking for something exciting to do. He has a definite blood lust that comes out in the heat of battle. ~Weapon~ Beretta M70 .22, Semi-Automatic Machine Gun that fires regular and dust bullets Black widow sword and dagger His words and charm ~Semblance~ Heat of Battle. Lucas's semblance is triggered during the heat of battle. Like an increased dosage of adrenaline his speed, power and in some cases perception of time for decision making increases for up to 10 minutes.. However his accuracy, sense of pain (and therefor his limits) and, honestly, sanity goes out the window. These traits are still not within semblance range individually. After usage and the effects have worn off he usually is quite tired. The semblance can used again after being fully rested but not before. ~Skills&Abilities~ Lucas is fast and durable, he can fire a gun with extreme accuracy. _While Shadow is the cold detached part of the team who often kills people without a word he worms his way into social circles, finds peoples weaknesses and can get them to open up and trust him. When moving in he's not nearly as discrete as Shadow and usually moves in usually when a scene needs to be made. He's not just for show though. He knows how to get a job done. Likes~ Shadow I suppose, being the smartest person in the room, fooling people, nice suits Dislikes~ People who get in his way, boring people. Strengths~ Good with a gun, Charismatic Weaknesses~ Doesn't usually know when to shut up, often has to be reigned in, can be oblivious to some things ~Backstory~ Lucas' grew up in a small town outside the wall. The town was left to be killed in a Grimm attack when he was 11 years old by the hunters and huntresses who were supposed to keep them safe. He miraculously managed to survive and swore vengeance against the righteous hunters and huntresses. He spent about a year on the streets before he was found by the Atlas military hoping to train him as a soldier from a young age. They taught him how to kill which worked perfect with his natural abilities. His skilled were used in unison with another member of the program, Shadow, to make a perfect team. However they were unaware of his already existing vengeance which blinded him. Around age 17 he started to obsess over killing government officials and the system that was in place they canceled the program. Because it was an undercover operation they couldn't have him officially retained so were forced to try and kill him. He was 18 when he and shadow killed all of them and left. Unsure what to do with themselves him and shadow worked as mercenaries for a while. They were found by Jerome, the man who had initially been in charge of their experiments, two years later. Unlike the scientists he had always seen potential in his 'smooth skills'. He recruited Him and Shadow to act as figure heads of the Grimoire heart. When that started to collapse he cut his loses but pulled out Shadow and Lucas as he saw them as useful to future endeavors. Currently Lucas and Shadow work as mercenaries for hire or completing requests from Jerome.

Hazel looked around the busy streets, smiling a bit to herself as she slid easily through the people walking along the sidewalk. Her long dark hair was pulled off to the side and secured with a Ribbon. Her usual scarf and hat were gone, her sweater replaced with a light dress. This sort of weather always drove her crazy, she missed the fall when she could wear her sweaters and scarves.
"Oh well..." She muttered to herself, tucking a stray strong of hair behind her ear as it fell out. She made her way down the sidewalk towards her usual cafe. As her hand fell back to her side her other hand held a familiar, well worn looking suit case. It looked rather light, as supposed by her swinging it around but it was anything but. "Hmmm." She hummed to herself as she maneuvered between people and into the doorway of the cafe.
He light brown eyes flickered around the room, making her way to the counter happily as she nodded to the familiar face behind the counter. She came here enough she knew everyone that worked here, and a few others Cafes around town too she supposed, the ones with decent coffee and a good view of people and buildings. She gook her food and made her way over to an open table, eyes traveling to the window to watch the passing figures as she pulled her scroll out, eyes scanning the screen briefly confirming some information before looking back out. She wasn't here in passing today she was looking for someone in particular....

Viridian calmly made his way down the street, occasionally looking at the various people that passed by or looking into a store window if something caught his eye. Although, to be honest, his thoughts weren't about the things around him. His mind was occupied with things that were far more important than simple passersby or the latest fashion trend. Luckily, he wasn't the only one who was concerned by recent events. But then, he could always count on his reporter friend to pick up on those sorts of things.
As he neared the cafe, he rolled up the sleeves of his blue button up shirt. Unfortunately, it was far too warm to wear a full suit, but he still did his best to look presentable, tie and all. He brushed any loose strands of hair back into place with his fingers before walking through the door. He nodded hello with a smile to the person behind the counter who waved at him as she finished up making another customers drink. He came here so often that she already knew his order. As he waited, his blue-grey eyes scanned the patrons looking for a brunette that he knew had likely already arrived. She was almost never late. He on the other hand, was known to get a little too wrapped up in what he was doing and not pay nearly enough attention to the clock. When he caught sight of her, he smiled and gave a slight wave.
With a sandwich and coffee in hand, Viridian made his way over to the table she had chosen for them. "Hello, Zel," he said as he took a seat, moving his tail off to one side so that he would't sit on it. "You're looking lovely, as always. How are things going in the journalism world." A he spoke he took a sip of coffee before deciding that it needed some sugar and opening up one of the little packets the cafe had so generously provided.

Hazel's eyes drifted across the Vale citizens are they passed by the window. Her pen absently trailed over the paper in front of her that had made their way out of her suitcase. Some of the passer-by's carried themselves likes huntresses or huntsmen, a few seemingly more nervous than they should be.... but most of them average citizens going about their daily life, same as they always did. It made her smile, while peace wasn't exactly a reporters friend, it was certainly nice when people could move about their daily life and not have to worry about darker forces at play.
Her eyes stopped on one figure in particular as it came into view, and stuck out like a sore thumb. In the middle of Vale's summer she only knew a handful people who would wear dark colored business attire despite the sun beating down. Only one of them had a reason to be in the area. A small smile slid across her face, as well as a light chuckle, as she watched him cross the street and enter the shop.
She smiled and waved back to him before shifting her attention briefly back to the street as he waited for his order. She waited until she heard footsteps approaching and glanced at her watch over to him. "Well... only 10 minute later than we'd planned, if I didn't know better I'd say you're improving." She teased slightly, shifting her papers off to the side in a pile so he had room. How so many papers had managed to become sprawled across the table in such a short amount of time could only be explained as one of her 'gifts.' She waved off his compliments, taking a sip of her already half empty mug. "Oh you know, it's the same old, same old. Always something to write about and some new lead to follow." She shrugged. "And what about you and your world?" She asked him.

Viridian cracked a smile at her jab before shrugging. "Well, you know how it is." It was good to be around Hazel again, even if they last time they had had seen each other hadn't been that long ago. Sometimes he got too serious when she wasn't around to remind him not to be. Even when the situation did end up being serious, it was somehow less tense.
As she asked him about the goings on of his world, his smile faded slightly. He looked down at her papers for a moment thinking about how he should respond. She had a lot on her plate and he didn't really want to trouble her, but he also knew she'd kill him if he didn't tell her what was on his mind. Not that she couldn't found out anyway.
"My family is still my family," he said resting his chin on the palm of his hand. He hesitated for a moment before starting again. "The thing is, they've been relatively quiet for the past month or so. I mean, quiet for them. The twins did a few jobs and my mom did one, but that's it." He glanced around before leaning in slightly and lowering his voice, "you know as well as I do that thieves don't take breaks."

Hazel raised an eyebrow slightly at the statement. "Well I've learned to not plan on you being on time so I adjust my schedule accordingly, no worries" She told him lightly with a small laugh and a unconcerned shrug. She took another sip of her coffee, eyes traveling to her mess of papers. She glanced back to him to find his attention in the same spot, smile gone.
It didn't take a journalists keen sense of people to know he was either hiding something or had something on his mind. She watched him, giving him a minute or two to collect his thoughts, but clearly waiting for something. Maybe it came with the job but she didn't do well with people keeping secrets, or information to themselves in general. "Alright What is it? You're clearly bothered by something." She sighed after a second. After all she wasn't known for her discretion when it came to getting information out of people.
She paused as she listened to him, leaning forward on the table to listen to his concerns. She couldn't say she was exactly surprised to know what was bothering him though. His family had quite a track record. If they took a break, they didn't get paid, simple as that. "And you're worried they might be planning something bigger?" She finished at his last statement, eyes watching him evenly.
"It's true that since the invasion of beacon there's been a bit of a... gap in the Vale Underworld, a lot of the usual suspects have been quiet. It's possible that they just haven't gotten any jobs but...." She trailed off, seeming to be going somewhere with that as one hand seemed to instinctively fall over the stack of papers beside her.

"Precisely," Viridian said with a nod. That was exactly what he was worried about. And it seemed that his fears weren't too off base or, at least, she didn't seem to think so. Taking a bite of his sandwich absently, he ran over the various possibilities once again. There were just so many. He needed more information.
"I was worried about the impact that everything would have on the Underworld. People are still vulnerable. Their focus is on the Grimm and anything else related to the invasion," he said as Hazel trailed off. Viridian's eyes followed her hand as it instinctively moved over to the stack at her side. If he wasn't mistaken that was the stack of side research that she always kept on hand. There was almost always some story that she was looking into that wasn't quite as important as the main one. Perhaps, this one would be of more use than she realized.
"What are you thinking?" he asked. "What's that side project of yours about this time?" There was hint of curiosity in his voice that always seemed to be there when he asked about her stories. He was genuinely interested in most of them and all of them were important to the people of vale. This time, however, it had a little bit more relevance to him specifically.

Hazel nodded, spinning her pen in her fingers before bringing it to her lips chew on the end in thought while she seemed to think things over and listen to him. "It's true that the invasion caught everyone off guard, scared them. Many people lost people close to them in the invasion. However for a lot of people it was an accident that's passed and they've been able to return to their normal lives like it was before with no more than a lingering uncertanty. It's a strange duality reaction to the invasion honestly...."
She paused at his question glancing over to the stack, not seeming to realize she had reached for them. "Ah..." She laughed a bit, glancing at him. "Well since the invasion I've been trying to peace together the current state of the vale underworld. However my research has been less then telling... which is telling in itself." She pointed out, pulling the stack back in front of her. "The White Fang has gone quiet, Torchwick, who was all over the news hasn't been seen along with his associates or anyone he was working with. Long story short there is a lack of presence from the main underground powers we've seen. Businesses who had connections to the underworld are pulling away to avoid falling under suspicion after the attack... which I assume won't last long." She added the last part more to herself as she started flipping through the papers reshuffling until what she seemed to be looking for was finally on top.
"That being said I think it is very likely your... well, your family hasn't been getting jobs to run, however I don't think that's all their up to." She glanced over the paper before reaching down and pulling a something from her suitcase. "I meant to tell you this earlier but I got distracted by the break in the fraud situation that was published in today's paper..." She smiled guiltily at him. She glanced down at the paper in her hand, the back clearly photo paper before laying it in front of him. "I believe you're quite familiar with him?" She asked but it was rather obvious, the male being a few years older than Viridian and someone he was more than familiar with.
"However, I feel the lack in business isn't stopping your family, they may be trying to grasp some of the power available in the underworld of Vale. I captured this picture at a high end gala a few days ago. It's a long shot, more assumptions at this point... but by all accounts no one or nothing there is an active target for your family with the police eyes so close on any businesses that would of hired them... I believe they maybe up to something else..." She sighed, finishing her her cup of coffee, watching his reactions carefully. "What though I haven't been able to gather yet just a few tidbits, the recent thefts, sightings and movements. Honestly you might be able to make more sense of it than I can." She pointed out, spinning her papers around to sit in front of him to look at.

"That's true," Viridian said before taking another sip of coffee. As she continued on, he stirred his coffee absently. Nothing good came of things going quiet. Sometimes he thought it was almost worse. It was nearly impossible to get information. Not that he really wanted it to go back to normal either. Though, it hardly matted what he wanted. Luckily, however, Hazel could find information no matter the situation.
When she started flipping through the various papers in her stack, he pulled out his glasses. He shook his head reassuringly when she apologized before speaking. "I understand." He could hardly be upset with her for doing her job. Besides, he wouldn't even know about it at all if it weren't for her. Taking the paper into hand, he looked it over closely. He knew tight away who it was the she was asking about. Amidst all the people at the gala, stood a tall man with blonde hair and a white suit. He stood with a confidence that few possessed.
"That's Neil," Viridian said looking back over to Hazel as she continued. There were a lot of possibilities to consider. He would just have to run them like in any other situation. Looking over the papers, he sighed. "Alright, I know my brother wouldn't pass an opportunity like that up if he didn't have something else to gain from it. So, if he didn't have a mark at the gala that means he was either gathering information, establishing himself, or meeting someone that he couldn't meet elsewhere without raising suspicion."
"It's possible that the other jobs have nothing to do with the gala. I mean, my sisters have been know to get bored and steal things on a whim, but the fact that mom got involved makes me think that your assumptions aren't wrong. She doesn't just get her hands dirty. And my father, he's the mastermind, so I doubt we'll see him until things actually start rolling into motion, if they do at all." He looked over to Hazel to make sure that she was still following. There was still one thing that was bothering him. "If this gala is related to the thefts, my question is how? If we can find that, then we have our lead."

Hazel smiled and nodded, "Needless to say, with that story out of the way there are certainly a few more interesting ones to look at." She admitted, tapping her fingers on the table. "And there are certainly a few interesting aspects to this story, many of which you would take an interest in." She pointed out as she twirled her pen in thought.
Hazel nodded as she watched him look over the papers, taking a second to go get more coffee. Mae made her way through the tables, refilling her cup before returning to listen to him. "I have a theory on that as well." She told him with a slight smile, pulling another picture from her suitcase as she spoke. "Like I said, the absence has left a void that people are going after. While most of the businesses pulled away not all of them did." She pointed out, glancing down at the picture in her hand. "No one there was a target but there were a few potential business partners." She told him.*
"There were only a few and after going through each ones background I was able to eliminate a few. That being said there are more private ways to get into contact with someone as well. As much as your brother enjoys a high class event.... there is one particular guest who was more easily accessible at the gala." She laid the picture down to reveal a man in a nice suit with long shaggy hair and a pipe between his fingers.
"I'm sure you've at least heard this mans name. Jerome Blackwater, he has his hand in several different pots so to speak. He deal in rare and hard to find antiquities,a skill set your own family might find rather interesting." She pointed out, leaning back. "He's known as the person to go to if you need something, manages to get his hands on things that shouldn't even be possible. He's spoke highly about by even respectable businessmen, and if very difficult to get a hold of, especially for less than legal matters because he's very careful about how he operates." She told him.

"Do you, now?" Viridian asked with a slight smirk when she said she had another theory. He sat back in his chair slightly as he listened. As always, he could count on he to be one step ahead. "Things always move quickly in the underworld. If someone wanted to take advantage they'd have to do it now. It makes sense that my family would be trying to work out a deal with someone who was in a position to do so."
Listening as she explained her reasoning, he finished up his sandwhich. He moved his empty plate over to an unoccupied table next to them just in time for another picture to be added to the stack. From the nice suit, expensive pipe, and arrogant Glee in his eye, Viridian could tell exactly what kind of man he was. This was the kind of man that was abundant in the world he used to call home. They were the types that could get thugs and thieves to follow their orders and the types that made the plans. They were the types that played chess with other bosses and didn't really care about anyone else, even those thy called 'family'. It was a type he knew all to well.
Upon realizing that Hazel had stopped talking, Viridian forced himself out of his thoughts and looked up at her. He push the photo back towards her. "I've heard of him, but never actually had the pleasure of meeting him in person," he said, straightening back up. "He started climbing up the ladder shortly before I left. My father didn't have any interest in him at the time, so we didn't interact with him or his associates much. You could say we were competitors."
"It's interesting that he would be interested in doing business with him now. Even if my family's business has been in decline as of late. My father's ego would never let him. This was probably mom's doing..." he trailed off, before shaking his head and looking back up at Hazel. "That's not really what matters. If your theory proves true than we have a bit more of a problem on our hands. My siblings are enough trouble in my father's hands, but if they are taking orders from someone as successful as Blackwater, I fear they might be capable of doing a lot more damage. Not to mention that he already has a group that is quite capable at his disposal."

Hazel glanced up at him, returning the smirk briefly at his comment. "Of course." She winked taking a second break from the topic to return the jibe. "They do, that much I've figured out. Honestly i'm a bit surprised it's taken this long but... considering the attention of the authorities, may of which can't be bought, I suppose it makes sense they would wait till now." Her attention drifted back to the picture in front of him.
"Like I said, He's careful and he's good, makes sure things can't be tied back to him, dozens of contingencies in place, even if the police tried they'd have a hard time pinning anything on him. Though admittedly he has most people fooled." She pointed out. "Even I've had trouble with his body guards around...." She muttered the last part unhappily to herself.
"That would make sense, with how careful he is you probably wouldn't have met him. And as you mentioned, he would of been shortly out of the Atlas military at the time. Officially he was honorably discharged but a reason was never given as to why. Knowing him probably something they couldn't put down on paper as a dishonorable discharge."
"Regardless of their reasons both sides are out for something. Jerome rarely works with others and his reason for joining forces, if he agrees, is still beyond me, but there certainly is one. While he has very capable people on his side i have no doubt your family would be an asset to his operations..." She sighed a bit, pausing at his last statement about Jerome's forces a small smile crossing her face, despite the fact it wasn't really a light-hearted matter. "It's like you know where i'm going next."
"That 'group' is essentially a small militia. If you're going to get involved...." She glanced at him with a small smirk, knowing full well he wasn't letting this go. "...You need to know who to look out for. Most of the men are low level fighters, more there for numbers if he has to orchestrate a massacre. Which, by the way, he could do without batting an eye..." She added. "Most of his jobs however are done by the leaders of his force." She laid down two more pictures she pulled form her suitcase. "Lucas Finale and a female who goes only by Shadow." One picture was on a young male in a group of guys looking pleasant and relaxed. The other picture was dark and hard to make out but seemed to be a female in all black with long lavender hair.
"I haven't been able to find any files on either of them which leads me to believe he pulled a lot of strings to have them destroyed or it dates back to him military days when he had that power himself. I suspect the later, and in all of my searches have only been able to find the term 'GeoTech' which might be a project? and that took a lot of searching. I have no idea what it is and no records seem to exist on it, or if there is I haven't found them yet but I believe they may have something to do with this project and have continued working with him to this current day. This is of course all circumstantial but regardless they are certainly a dangerous pair. Admittedly less of bodyguards more of 'On staff mercenaries'." She pointed out.

"Well, you know what they say," he said, the smile he had a little while before easing its way back onto his face. "Great minds think alike." He took another sip from his coffee as she continued on, only to smile a little more and shrug as she mentioned him getting involved. He already was, wasn't he? Especially, with how serious this was turning out to be. Not to mention the fact that it seemed as if police couldn't, or simply wouldn't, get involved. Jerome was just too powerful and too careful.
As she presented the pictures, he leaned forward to get a better look. He couldn't tell much from them, but they still have him some idea of who he was looking at. The man reminded him of his brother, at ease and confident in a group of people. He was probably someone who they sent to do jobs that involved tact rather than force. The woman other hand looked guarded and emotionless. In all likelihood, she did the exact opposite of what the man did. The were, indeed a dangerous pair.
"That's very possible. I could try looking into it, but I doubt there even any records to hack into. If it has anything to do with his discharge, they probably got rid of it entirely. Besides, it hardly matters now," Viridian said looking back up to Hazel. "What we do need to figure out is what they are planning to do and how they're going to do it."
"If we can do that, we might just be able to stop them before they do something to big. Not to mention the possibility of getting something solid evidence for the police on both Jerome and his organization. Oh, and we can't forget the scoop you'll get," He said before pausing for a second. She hadn't actually said that she was going to work on this. But she had put in all this work already, so it wasn't unreasonable to assume she was going to, was it? "I mean, you will help me with this, right?"

A light laugh escaped Hazels lips as she nodded. "True. Very True." She agreed before turning back to the set of pictures laid out on the table. They, along with the people who were not pictured, meant a lot of possibilities and none of them particularly good. She could be sure it wasn't just to enjoy each others company over tea and a chessboard.
"You can certainly try, the name i found by accident, written in the margin of a heavily redacted document.... I doubt there's any records left but it's always worth the attempt I suppose. I've been able to gather some intel about how the operate, their style but as far as to where the came from i haven't been able to find anything." She pointed out.
"What their up to can't really be determined without more information. There are just too many possibilities. With what Jerome is Capable off and your families skill sets it could be a lot of things. Best case scenario, Jerome is the fence and the theft rate was about to go up in vale and they are about to make a lot of money. Worst case? Something a lot bigger that hurts a lot of people." She pointed out.
"If we're lucky, Jerome's not an easy one to out smart..." She started, blinking at the statement and question. "If you even think about leaving me out of this story I'm going to show up at your apartment at 6 in the morning for the next year and wake you up." She threatened him. True, she wasn't crazy about mornings either, but he hated them more and her job usually had her up at odd hours anyway.
"Though I for one would prefer to gather information instead of waiting for them to make a move and acting off of that." She pointed out as she reached over, picking up the pictures but leaving the documents. While she was familiar with most of the people in this cafe she'd rather not have them out too long and draw anyone's attention. "So then, if you were a thief teaming up with an underground leader, where would you put the information we're looking for?"
