She had been over to the university campus recently (A couple of times in fact), Grendel looked very enjoyable; the students all seemed the arty types, passionate about their subjects, excited about their majors... but it didn't offer any classes in anything she was interested in doing; Theater as a major seemed the most her, but it didn't have any of the fun aspects of the circus!
Speaking of; she had visited the circus when it was in town the last couple of times, got chatting with the nightmare that runs it and about what goes on, the 'Acts' all seemed so happy to be there, all confident and enthusiastic about the whole situation!
She had found herself thinking about the Circus more and more, she had been finding it harder to focus in her classes, her mind drifting.
The nightmare ringleader had said there might well be a place for her when she was ready to join them, she had the look, the passion and the skill (After showing him some of her Gymnastic specialties) He said she would have to start from the bottom, selling the tickets, tidying up after shows, passing out the circus treats... It might sound dull to most but to Arcadia the possibility of moving up that circus ladder held high appeal!
An undivided audience all there for entertainment, smiles on their faces... that's what Arcadia lived for!
She looked down at her hands, She had made her decision... University was not for her.
Arcadia was going to skip University and join the Circus!
