 Tail curled around round form as the feline laid upon a warm stoop, directly in the line of the suns rays. It was a beautiful summer day and it was just the right temperature that the stone in which she lay was just warm enough to make her feel good, not uncomfortable. This was perfect. Tiny mouth opened in a yawn and she opened her eyes for a brief moment to glance around. She was alone, peace and quiet was at her beckoning call. This pleased her a great deal and she closed her sea green gaze and rested her chin upon outstretched limbs. This was the life. Warm sun, no company. Nothing could go wrong.

Now that his hat had been retrieved and returned to it's proper place on his head, Theodore was done with sulking in whatever dark and quiet spot in the house he could find. Today was the day that he left safety of the almost mansion-sized home and went back into the heart of the city and do some scouting.
Or people watching, he liked that.
Ever since he had found his senshi, he hadn't done it nearly as much as he would have liked, which he was determined to change. Right now. Unfortunately, it was too far of a walk from the house that was more on the outskirts of the city than anywhere close for easy foot travel. Annoyed, that meant little Theodore had to take a bus to his horror, but he did it because he had things to do and places to be.
His first order of business once he hopped off the bus, dodging stray legs and shopping bags, was to find a good perch. Unfortunately, when he jumped atop a concrete fence, he lost his footing and tumbled over the side, hat skittering and well, he landed on something soft and squishy.
That was odd.

She was enjoying her nap when suddenly there was a weight on her and it sorta freaked her out. It was an instant reaction, her eyes flew open and she attempted to jump up but the weight of whatever was on her was preventing her from going anywhere. "Excuse you! Whoever you are!" She exclaimed wanting to swat at whoever or whatever it was. She however established it was another cat as she caught sight of fur and a tail. "I WAS trying to sleep here." She said rather upset at whoever it was hoping they'd move soon so she could swat them in the face.

It wasn't until the mass beneath him began to move did Theodore realize that he had fallen on something living. Immediately he was leaping off, hair raised and mouth spitting out angry hisses. Pink eyes had narrowed, pupils turned into slits as his back lifted in typical defensive cat pose.
The moment words spilled from the feline's mouth did he realize that she was not an ordinary cat but a mauvian like him.
Hmph.
Her paw cuffed him on the face and knocked his hat properly off his head. Blinking several times, Theodore hissed again, claws out because how dare she.
"Maybe you shouldn't be laying somewhere traffic frequently passes. I come this way often," he snorted, on his high and mighty horse. "You've never been here before."AstoriaFallen Sorry, I lost the rp for a hot minute ;;

Nuxaz sorry, RL ate me alive <3 When he returned a similar reaction she gave a small disgusted huff of a sound. "Well I've rested here OFTEN enough and never had anyone step on me before." She said giving herself a quick groom to fix her fur that had been disrupted by his filthy paws. "You should still LOOK before you leap, or has that never been a phrase you've had instilled in your vocabulary?" She patted her tail a little bit and then looked at him once more. "You could have at least apologized."

Theodore looked at her like she was some overgrown rat, the amount of contempt he held for her visible in the way he kept his nose raised.
"There's nothing to apologize for. I didn't jump on you therefore I did nothing wrong." It was true, he hadn't purposely pounced her, he had fallen off the landing and happened to land on her but that sounded undignified and he refused to admit such a thing.
An audible hmph let his mouth when he snubbed her.

"If you didn't JUMP on me then what was you landing on me then? Since it certainly wasn't a pounce..." She said narrowing her gaze at him, the way he looked at her made her want to slap him in the face. She hadn't thought to think that perhaps he had fallen and was trying to save himself some embarrassment, she was just upset at the fact he was trying to turn this into her fault! "ME? ME apologize?" Her voice raised an octave higher than she would have liked but ignored it. Her tail whipped behind her and she felt her fur bristle slightly. "I swear.... You men are so difficult!" She didn't want to get into it with him and was just wanting this whole thing to be done with. "I tell you what when you're ready to apologize for being a royal jerk you come find me. I'm sure there aren't that many Bastet's around here so you shouldn't have to look hard." She was done with this little 'cat fight' and walked away from him, her head held high.

Thedore harumphed as she went off on her little tirade and rolled his eyes heavily.
What a drama queen.
He waited until she was far enough away before he shook his snooty head and turned away himself, shoulders wiggling as he stalked off.
Bastet was fooling herself if she thought that he needed to (or would) apologize for anything.
Good riddance.
