"Lacri-san, what is your house like~? I promise to be honto kawaii for your parents~ Uwaaa, we can cuddle and hang out like best buddies! I can hide in your bag and we can go shopping! That would be the best! Don't you think so, Lacri-san? I can show you my Instagram page and---"
The cat continued to happily blather ad nauseum about everything under the sun, up to and including all manner of social media, food, music and favorite sleeping spots. Honestly, sleeping in a bed that wasn't at the Headquarters sounded like a wonderful proposition. As much as Itsuki adored and loved Ayako-chan, he couldn't perform his duties if he still lived with her.
Being carried by Lacrimosa was the most fun of all, for the sakura senshi had a pleasantly sweet scent about her.
"I may not have thumbs, Lacri-san, but I'll help out around the house where I can!"

Once she'd found a spot to dehenshin, the cherry blossom senshi shifted back to civilian form to continue the trek back home. It was fun listening to the chatter of the cat and she smiled as he rambled. "I'm going to have to get a bigger bag then, if you're going to hide out in it," she teased. Though that would also be a good way to sneak him in to her job. "But you don't have to worry about helping around the house really. Mom has some one come in every couple of days to keep up with dusting and major cleaning. We all sort of keep the house clean via dishes and wiping down counters and such though." She would have told him more about her house but he'd see soon enough as they got closer to it. A gate lead to a long-ish drive way which lead up to a small mansion. Large, green leaved trees provided shade for the front yard and it was given color by a myraid of flowers. "Welcome to your new home, Itsuki~"

"Uwaaaa~" cat_eek Itsuki was shocked into silence over the sheer size of Lacrimosa's home. He didn't know what to expect at all, so seeing something this opulent went above and beyond anything the little cat could have dreamed of. "Lacri-san, it's kyodaaaiiii. You live in something this big? All the time? With cleaning people? That sounds very fancy, Lacri-san." The cat sought to hide just in case one of Lacrimosa's parents might be home. They may not like the sudden appearance of a cat. Or maybe they did? Itsuki wasn't sure what to do, though appearing as adorable as possible was likely his best bet. Fluffing himself up to maximum cuteness with a few quick shakes, Itsuki trotted alongside his new bestest buddy. "Ehh... Lacri-san? What do I call you when you're not Lacri-san~?"

"Well, we have people who come in on certain days, they don't live in house." There was no justification or need for live ins, especially since they could do some of the basic cleaning. "But yes, I do live here all the time. I keep thinking of moving out on my own but..." But it was hard to leave the home she grew up in. And there wasn't really an apartment that might be able to accomodate her bed, which was equally hard to give up. "It is very fancy though, but my parents deserve it. They've worked hard to be able to have this life style." A bright smile was given to the cat. "I'm sure you'll love it though." As they reached the door, she paused to glance down at the cat as he questioned about her name. "When I'm not Lacrimosa, you can call me Melody. Or Mel. Or whatever variation you want to come up with." Istas had always called her Mellie, whenever she'd babysit the young girl. She didn't mind nicknames in all honesty. "You ready to see the house, Itsuki?"

"Melodyyyy~" repeated the cat, energetic in his execution. Itsuki twirled between the girl's legs, purring loudly. "It's hard to leave the places you love. I felt that way too, when I had to leave Ayako-chan. She raised me, but to be a Guardian, I have to leave. It's very sad. I miss her, but I can't visit, or I'll forget my duty and want to stay." cat_cry As much as the cat tried to stay positive, sometimes the subject of his kittenhood still brought down his mood. With a shake of his head, Itsuki inwardly scolded himself. Destiny City needs you! Melody needs you! He huffed and stamped his little paws in a show of defiance towards negative thoughts. Not now! "Eh, Melody~? Should I hide when we go inside? Or should I follow you? I know how to be honto kawaii at a moment's notice! I've practiced! Have you seen my Instagram~?"

It was cute hearing him repeat her name, she rather liked the sound of it from the small cat, and she laughed softly as he wound himself between her legs. It became a sort of sad smile as he talked about his past again. "It's okay, Itsuki. Who knows, maybe one day in the future you can see her again~" Kneeling down, she ran a gentle hand over his head before scooping him up. Almost as if to answer his question about what he should do. A gentle hug then a shift to put him up on her shoulder. If it would be comfortable for him. "You just let me handle it all~" A playful wink before she paused, moving to open the front door. "You have an instagram?"

White Trickster Rabbit omg that kitten star in your avi, that's Itsuki right now "Haiii~ Maybe, when all the work is done and peace is back in Destiny City! I hope that's someday soon. I miss Ayako-chan, but you're my friend too, Melody~ It'll be okay, as long as I have friends around, then it's not so lonely!" Itsuki kept purring as he was lifted into Melody's arms, curling against her with his soft and warm fur. Despite being a Guardian Cat, he spent so much time being affectionate to humans as any normal cat would be. He still loved people, regardless of his duty to help guide and power the senshi. Being shifted onto her shoulder, the little cat giggled and wiggled his tiny paws. "Don't worry, Melody~ I'll be honto kawaii. I've got lots of practice!" cat_blaugh Her question about his social media caused the cat to wiggle with glee. "Well, technically it's not mine, but I'm all over it! Ayako-chan loves Instagram, and honto kawaii cats like me, so my pictures are all over. It's Ayako_Potato, if you want to look it up!" With that being said, Itsuki made sure to stop acting like a Guardian are more like a normal feline, just in case Melody's parents were within earshot. Best not to let Melody's parents know their daughter was carting around a cat that could speak and think for himself.

"You'll have to show me later then~" she replied, voice hushed as she stepped into the foyer of the house. Behind her the door shut and she moved to remove her shoes not far from the door. Her purse and keys were placed on a small table next to where her shoes were left and she noticed the absense of her mother's shoes. Her father's however, were there. "Pumpkin, is that you?" Well, shoot. So much for a quiet sneak off to her room. "Yes dad~" A man not much taller then Melody stepped into the hallway and he smiled, eyes crinkling just a bit behind his glasses. "Welcome home. Have fun?" "All I really did was walk around town, dad." A loving sigh at the man. "Well... and... I may have adopted a cat?" Which she only brought up because she knew he'd noticed Itsuki as soon as he laid eyes on her. And the admission of such seemed to be all he needed to get closer to the pair to look said cat over. She hoped Itsuki wouldn't mind the intrusion.

Luckily for everyone involved, Itsuki was a people-lover by nature, grew up adoring attention, and knew how to act like your Everyday, Totally Normal Housecat whenever the need arose. Once Melody's father leaned in for inspection, the lilac-point gave the older man the best squish my eyes and lean out towards you with a cute trill impression. "Myah~!" Petmepetmepetmeohilovepetspleasepetme!Totally normal, right? Many cats hung off of people's shoulders and kneaded with their paws in the air, stretching out their fuzzy heads in hopes of getting a good scratch behind the ears. Itsuki was no exception, and was quite thankful for the magical glamour that hid the star on his forehead from people without powered starseeds. Otherwise, this would be a very awkward exchange for Melody. "Myaaaah~" Tail swishing back and forth, Itsuki was happy as a clam, purring away on Melody's shoulder like a living scarf.

Alexander watched the cat for a moment more before he gave in to the utter adorableness of Itsuki and reached a hand out to scritch the top of his head. He'd also maybe done it for fear of the cat toppling off of his (suddenly) precarious perch but it was mostly the cute. "Does he have a name?" "Mmm," a small nod and a relieved smile. "Itsuki!" A smile across her father's face, still lovingly giving the cat attention. "Well then, welcome to the family, Itsuki." A sly glance to his daughter. "I won't tell your mother if you don't want me to." "Ah... we'll see." She'd never been a bit pet person. "I'm going to go get him settled in my room for now though." A slight rumble of a laugh and he pulled away. "All right then." A quick kiss to the top of her head before he turned back for his usual spot, leaving cat and senshi alone. Which she was glad for, moving them up the stairs and for the hall that would lead to her room.

Once the door was closed and the coast was clear, Itsuki leaped from Melody's shoulder and onto her bed, walking and kneading with his paws. "Uwaah~ Melody, your father is very nice! I like him~" The Guardian Cat wasted no time making himself at home, taking time to sniff everything he could find, to stuff himself into every crevice, to test the softness of the bed and pillows and blankets. Fluffy tail swished back and forth as the cat rocketed from one surface to another, exploring and examining everything in sight. "Your bed is so soft, Melody~ A neko could get used to this... When's dinner? Do I get to meet your mother? I think I might snuggle with your otousan later~ After dinner, of course. We can play games too, Melody! And listen to music and snuggle and---" The blathering continued even as the cat walked across her bedding again, kneading with his squishy paws.

"Yea, dad's pretty great~ He's the one who used to let me get away with so much growing up." A small laugh as she moved for the small bedside table to plug her phone into. Couldn't risk the loss of battery life for emergencies after all. Sitting down on the bed to plug the phone in, she watched the Guardian Cat wonder about her room and getting used to it. He had the energy of a kitten and she was a little jealous, wishing she had that much energy again in her life. A fond smile touched her lips as she pulled a leg to her chest, chin resting on her knee. "I don't blame anyone for getting used to the plushness of my bed," she replied. "Just wait until you sleep in it, you'll never want to leave it.~" And true to Itsuki there were a dozen more questions to be answered and she laughed a bit. That was something she'd have to get used to, that was for sure. "Ah, dinner is ready whenever dad decides to cook. Or mom gets home and she cooks. Or brings something home with her so that no one has to cook." She really should look into learning to cook herself but she wasn't actually a fan of cooking so. "And you'll probably meet mom tonight," because she couldn't hide the cat forever. "Dad would be more then glad to snuggle with you, but he can be very perceptive sometimes so be careful." Then there was just rambling from the cat and she was too amused to stop him, having long since stopped being able to tell what he was going on about. Which was fine because her own mind had gone on a tangent and she was certain she had spaced out a bit. At least until a thought came to mind in the form of a question. "Hey, Itsuki. You don't happen to know anything about traveling to planets, do you?"

"Ohhh otousan is perceptive? I need to work on my pretending-to-be-a-normal-cat skills..." Itsuki looked serious for a split second before giving up and walking over Melody to find a comfortable spot on her chest to lay. He flipped over onto his back so his squishy bean feet were wiggling in the air. "But if he's a good cook then I'm okay with practicing more!" Getting comfortable by wiggling back and forth, Itsuki thought for a moment about Melody's question. "Haaaaiii~" came the singsong answer. The cat rocked back and forth slowly. "I... haven't been to any planets.... yet... uwu.... but I've read a lot about it on the headquarters computer! You can press a button on your cellphone and listen to the song of your planet~ That's when kirakira!! You're on your planet!" For emphasis, Itsuki wiggled and would have given Melody jazz hands... if he had any. Jazz paws.

Watching Itsuki, she smiled some as he curled up on her chest and she made sure to hold still until he was comfortable. Though she might have been unable to resist playing with his cute little toe beans as he wiggled his paws in the air. It was almost a shame he wasn't actually her cat, she was going to be sad to watch him leave in the future. "Yep~ He works for one of the newspapers around here as a journalist. So he has to be perceptive." Or at least she always assumed it was work related. Maybe he was just a perceptive person? "But he is a pretty good cook. So is mom, she makes the best Vietnamese meals~" And now she wanted some pho... When he, surprisingly, answered her question about planetary travel, she let herself get lost in thought again, fingers still idly tickling at his toe beans. "Song of my planet?" a quiet echo of his words. "I wonder what that sounds like." She hadn't thought her planet might have a song, even if it wasn't actually a song. Had to be a mental thing, she was sure. Or internal?? This was going to require some experimentation later. Lucifer Force you're killing me with cute, omg.

Itsuki playfully batted at Melody's fingers. People seemed to love squishy cat toe beans - not that Itsuki minded. He loved the attention, regardless. Grasping one of her fingers between his kitty paws, the cat rocked back and forth happily. "Otousan is a journalist? Does he know about the war, Melody-san? Or does he not believe in it like a lot of the mainstream news? Ayako-chan used to say that her friends on Instagram heard some things, but nothing specific..." It made him wonder just how perceptive the people of Destiny City were, on average. The cat nodded fervently when Melody repeated what he'd learned - the song of their planet. "It's probably hijō ni utsukushīdesu~ Just like you, Melody~ I've never heard the song of Mau or anything like that, but I read that if you close your eyes and listen, you'll hear it eventually!" Itsuki's ears drooped slightly. "...gomen, Melody. I should train more, to be a better Guardian for you. Uwu..."
