Quote: Daily run done with and powered up to start a patrol, Lacrimosa found herself just wondering about almost aimlessly. There'd been no location in mind to make her rounds and honestly she was probably being a little careless. She'd almost not done a patrol for the day, in all honesty, but it wouldn't do to skip even one day if she could help it. Maybe she'd end up at the bathhouse at the end of patrol for a nice soak when all was done. A nice reward for doing her job~ Adonis found himself in the hot, humid night of Destiny City again. He hated summer and his outfit. It was almost one hundred percent leather and it took a toll on the lanky blond man. Either way, he was currently sitting on a bench with his skirt pulled off one of his legs to get some breeze on his pale skin. That is, until he felt the oh so familiar tickle of an Order senshi near him. He sighed and stayed like he was as his lips pursed. The whistle he let out was sharp and loud, and Adonis couldn't help but think back to his conversation with the spider senshi. He'd said whistling wasn't the way to get someone's attention, but at the same time, it always worked. Why fix something that wasn't broken? "Here senshi, senshi, senshi..."

Quote: There was a tickle of something against her senses before she heard the sharp whistle, head tilting slightly like a cat's might do when listening for something. There was a slightly feeling of "probably shouldn't" in the back of her mind but curiosity got the better of the pink clad senshi and she couldn't help but to go and investigate. Which would only end up further proving his method, though she was unaware of such things. Finding the leather clad senshi sitting on a bench, was that a hole in his chest?, she paused a moment to look him over. She had definitely never seen anyone like him before. But there was definitely a similar feel to some of the negaverse agents she'd run into. ... Was that even possible? "Ah. Hello." "Well hello, Ms. Pink," he greeted with a flourish of his hand. The lanky man got up and bent over at the waist, bowing to her. "Why are you all alone at night? Don't you know it's dangerous for a senshi?" She felt new. He'd never seen her before and she didn't look like she was anything but a basic level grunt for the Order side. Sometimes they could be so fun. He was also smugly aware that once more his whistle worked. Adonis grinned wide to himself at that fact and then looked her over from head to toe. Honestly she looked so young compared to him. "No Knight to protect you? No cat?"

Quote: Lacrimosa wasn't new, perse. She'd be around for awhile but may as well have been new with her time away. A lot had changed in the time she'd been gone, of that she was aware, and did try to be on alert. It didn't always work. "Lacrimosa, if you please," she replied, not sure why being called "Ms. Pink" had rubbed her the wrong way. It wasn't a terrible way to refer to her considering how much pink was in her fuku. Her hands disappeared in her long sleeves as she looked him over again. He was a lot taller then she'd previously thought him to be. "I've never run with anyone before?" A small shrug. She usually ran into people on her patrols but didn't often patrol with others. "Just me and myself, it's how it's been and I see no reason to change that." She could always pull out her phone if need be. Gloved fingers touched said item hidden away in the sleeves of her fuku. "And what of you? Running around town by yourself as well?" "Corrupted Senshi Adonis, at your service," he said with another flourish. "I am like the name suggests, a senshi of the darker side. We don't play by those very constricting rules of the Order..." He had heard his fair share of complaints. Adonis wasn't looking to recruit her to the dark side, or be recruited to the light, just stating the facts for her. He moved closer, starting to circle her slowly. She looked like she'd have a massive amount of energy. If he could get close enough to run his hand along her back and shoulders, he would definitely try to do some collecting while it was in easy reach. "Now, Ms. Pink.." Yes, she said her name, but it was too long, and Ms. Pink suited her a lot better. "I run around by myself because I'm not a basic level. I haven't been for some time..." He just didn't always power up. Lately he did. "See, this is one of the reasons I can't stand your faction. They just let the children, and younglings like you, run around unsupervised... You could get into some serious trouble. There are corrupt senshi out here who throw fists rather than conversation around. And we, my dear, are a quite dangerous bunch when we're mad."

Quote: So she'd been right that he'd felt similar to Negaverse agents, something to keep in mind in the future. Brown eyes followed him as he circled her, as best she could any way, knowing well not to trust him. She couldn't even trust her own faction in some cases. "I was not aware there were such things as corrupted senshi." Did that have something to do with the hole in his chest? She was also going to ignore that he refused to say her name. "Aside from being a part of Chaos, how do you differ?" A curious head tilt that sent blonde hair across her shoulders briefly. "I am not young," a small snort. "I've been at this for five years." Two, really, once you took into account her stepping away for three years to continue her schooling. She wasn't stupid enough to tell him that though. "But I agree with you about the Chibi Senshi. Children should not be a part of war." Even if Echo was precious, and she was glad to have met her, she didn't deserve to be in this. Why wasn't there a way for Chibi's, if they had to be apart of this, to be assigned to an older senshi or knight for protection? She knew the reason. Order couldn't get it's act together to save their own lives. A slight twitch of a smile. "I suppose I should consider myself thankful to have met you then?" Five years and she never saw a corrupt? Adonis was not impressed. His face showed as much as he looked her over again. There was a definite sneer to his features now that she revealed how long she was active. "Five years.." And still a grunt. She must be doing something wrong. Oh well. Very little could live up to Adonis' standards. "I'm not saying they shouldn't be apart, I'm saying your faction is stupid for not protecting them. They're so weak to us..." The grin on his face grew darker as he brought one of his hands up, black nail tapping himself on the lip. Chibi senshi were easy targets. They had much weaker magic. The only thing that saved them, most of the time, was a cat or an intervention. "If child soldiers is what the world wants, well... We were all child soldiers at some point, were we not?" He chuckled to himself and then watched this senshi, all the while stepping closer. "Oh no. You won't be thankful." One of his hands reached out to thread through her hair and down her back. He was trying to sap some of her energy. Trying to be as discreet about it as possible. "Well, maybe you will be. I won't take your starseed.." Too hot to do that much action. That often involved a battle and Adonis was not wanting to fight.

Quote: She didn't care if he was impressed or not, she was well aware that even if she hadn't been powered up for three years that she should be stronger by now. She didn't need help in remembering her failings. Goose pimples formed on her arms at the dark grin on his face, watching his black nail as it tapped. There was a curious thought on if it was only a henshin thing for him or were his nails dark outside of powered form too? ... This wasn't the time to be debating such thoughts. "I was never as young as some of these children when I first received this power." A strong frown marred her features. "My faction is also a mess period, between the different infighting. So honestly I can't say I'm surprised that Order can't get it together to protect the younger senshi." She might have tried to step back on instinct as he stepped closer, he'd already said he was dangerous and she didn't doubt he was. Had no intention of allowing him close if she could help it, wary of what he could do. That feeling was heightened at the feel of his fingers brushing her hair and she tried to shake her head to ward him off. "I'll be thankful for that," she replied, trying once more to step out of his range. "But you're clearly up to something. What?" "Infighting, you say?" Spilling weaknesses. He put that little nugget away and just listened to her. She sounded like she didn't even want to be in this faction. Maybe, just maybe, he could tug her toward his side of things. Of course he stepped closer as she stepped away, and Adonis let his hand play with her hair again. "Come now, bird, I'm not going to hurt you..." He was cooing at her now, trying to be sweet and innocent for her. "Trust me. If I wanted to hurt you, I would. We're just talking about things on friendly terms." His head tilted the other way as hie tried to get his thumb to her ear, wanting to drain her. He couldn't get to her back, so he'd take where he could. Just the barest brush of his skin over hers. "I'm letting you talk. To vent. You might not have been as young as they are, no, but you were still young. You had your innocents taken a long time ago. With your first battle. With the first time you saw what the cost of battle means... Especially with a faction that clearly doesn't care for it's members." He resisted the urge to call her a pawn. "My faction, as small as it is, is fairly organized for what we are... and you say I'm your first corrupt. I'm not all that bad am I?"

Quote: How could he not know, was the thought that ran through her mind as he echoed her statement. Surely he'd come across a large group of them before tearing down his faction? He had to have seen then. But then she'd been a senshi for five years and had not once met a corrupted senshi until now... "I have no doubt that you could hurt me if you wanted, but we are on different sides and in all honesty neither one of us trusts the other." Which was fair to be sure. Dark and like, order and chaos. Neither could find a balance between themselves. "Some of us care. Some of us don't. Many just want to obliterate your side." She'd relaxed a little, but not much, too caught up in his words and their conversation. This was bad and she knew it but... while she knew she couldn't trust him she also wanted to. Wanted to prove to herself that just because he was on the side of chaos didn't mean he was inherently terrible. Those rose tinted glasses were coming back on. "You're not as bad as you could be," she conceded after a moments thought. "But you are the enemy and I can only trust you so much. Though... it would be nice if there could be a balance between both side." The last part was mostly musing to herself. Ah, there it was. She was coming around to relaxing and accepting him as a not terrible person. "Who says I'm the enemy? Your faction? Why is one faction pit against the other anyway?" Adonis' voice droned, like he was already bored of this conversation. "I'll have you know, I have at least one good relationship with someone in your faction. Of course I won't give names, but... it still stands." Adonis smiled at this senshi just a bit more and then looked upwards, toward the sky. She was giving information without realizing it, and he was going to keep logging away those little bits to report back. "Balance could happen one day. Who knows. Then again, humans have been waging war as long as they've existed. Perhaps it's just in nature everywhere, not just here. Perhaps our ancestors started this war and we're just the next generation of soldiers." One of Adonis' hands were brought to his chin and he stroked it with his thumb. "I might not be on your side, but I don't have to be your enemy."

Quote: "I wouldn't expect you to give names, in all honesty." Again there was that factor of not trusting and she was fine with that. "But... it is nice to know that there can be relationships, friendships even, between the two sides. Which further proves my theory, I think." That there could maybe be balance one day. She would like to think that maybe there was a way to purify everyone, bring them back to the side of good, but even if they could just find a balance and end this stupid war then that would be a start. Wasn't there a saying about light being unable to exist without dark? She'd have to look into that later. Brown eyes watched him at he looked up at the sky and it made her wonder what he might be looking at. The stars maybe? Did he have a home world to return to? While she hadn't been to her own, unsure of how to get there, Lacrimosa knew it was there. How did it work for corrupt senshi though? Could they even return to the home which gave them their power? His smile was nice though. "It would be nice to end this war, however long it's been going on. Be it far from the past or even just as old as a few years." Her arms crossed over her chest, gloved fingers toying with the edge of her sleeves. "I think we all need allies some where in this mess, even if it's cross-faction." "Mm." That was his response to her words. He understood them, he wanted to respond, but right now he was caught up in a thought. How long had this war been going on exactly? He wanted to know. Adonis worked his jaw a little before looking back at the smaller senshi and he finally responded. "I have an arrangement I want to propose to you. You know we need energy. If you let me take a bit of yours, just a quick touch to the arm to gather it, I won't harm you. Willingly and freely give me energy when we meet up, and I'll give you information about other corrupts I know about." He had this arrangement with the other senshi in the order, but he hadn't seen her in a long while. Asking about her would be a very bad idea, so he chalked it up to her hanging up her tiara, so to speak. "Today your information is me. Not your enemy, not wanting to hurt you. I just need to meet a quota and honestly? Fighting for it all the time gets very tiresome."

Quote: It was a very troubling thought, in all honesty. To think this really could have been something from a time so long ago... Daunting and scary in a way. If it had truly been going on for so long did that mean there would never be an end until one side one over the other? If Chaos did win what did that mean for the future? All thoughts she would push aside for now, maybe until she could find someone who might have better answers or until she forgot about it completely. Especially as she noted he was actually speaking again, not lost in his own thoughts like she had been. Brows furrowed a bit at his proposition and... honestly she didn't know what to think of it. It could be interesting but at the same time it felt dangerous. Freely giving energy was better then having it forcefully taken, this was a fact but. But what? Wouldn't it be better then someone else? "You waste a lot of energy just trying to take it, I imagine... And it seems almost a moot point then?" she couldn't help but ask, unsure of how this whole thing worked for them. "I... don't want to say yes," she started, frowning in thought. "At least I don't want to say yes to a full time arrangement? Could I think on it, perhaps? I would, however, be willing to let you take some energy tonight." A token of good faith perhaps? But then also he hadn't attacked her, had proven to not be an enemy even if just for the night. She had surprised Adonis yet again. Both brows raised as he nodded to everything she spoke, basically and then gave another one of his small smiles. "It is a huge waste sometimes, just to get a little. Civilians are just as bad as senshi about attacking sometimes, and praying on those already asleep doesn't provide too much." Maybe Adonis could have used a better word than praying, but it's what it felt like sometimes. "You...can have time to think on it." He was slow and hesitant to agree to that, but a smart girl she was. Not running head first into things. She was very cute. Then she said she'd give him energy and he shut his eyes and inhaled sharply before chuckling. "Thank you. It won't hurt you, I promise. You'll feel tired afterward, but otherwise be normal." One of his hands went to her shoulder and he slowly stroked the tips of his fingers down her entire arm. Over her sleeves, over skin, her gloves, and down to her finger tips. She would feel the slow tug of energy slipping from her. Her body would grow tired, like she was a bit behind in her sleep. Perhaps like she stayed up a bit too late. "A little more is all I'll take." He turned her small hand over, rested the back of it in his palm with her palm up, and then circled his fingers around her palm slowly, taking just a little more. When it was all said and done, materialized in his fingers was a round, small gem of energy. "You have my gratitude."
