Another night of patrol, another night of wondering what would happen, especially since Kami found himself in a place he wouldn't usually visit, the outdoor theater. It had had a show that ended a few hours before and it had taken a while for the last people lingering around to leave, but afterward he had decided to check the stage out himself.
One would think someone as vain as Kami would want to be the center of attention on the stage and gain the appreciation of all of the crowd, and he would, but unless one was a comedian, they would have to perform with others, and Kami could never stand the thought of someone upstaging him, so he tended to avoid the shows. Why go to the theater when one was focused on the show and not on him? He didn't like it.
However, that didn't keep him from wandering around the stage for a bit wondering why people enjoyed going to the park for the theater. Certainly the animal noises, such as cicadas, could have drowned out the music, that and while he was still full of himself, Kami was not someone who appreciated a whole lot of noise, especially if you could hear it from far away, and that's what these productions tended to do. In fact, he had heard the play all the way from the flower shop he had just gotten out of that night which is what made him investigate in the first place.
Just as he was about to go back to his home however, after inspecting the stage and giving it a resounding "meh" of judgement, he felt the aura of a negaverse agent. Well, at least SOMEONE wanted to get his attention tonight!

Even in their everyday life, Larimar had responsibilities having to do with this theater; and to be fair, they didn't particularly mind making sure nobody wrecked it at night. It was a safe place for them, even if they didn't spend a lot of time there, and the idea of someone destroying it because it was there - well, that set them on edge.
Takamizawa had chosen an unfortunate night to hang around there, was the thing, because Larimar was seething and they wanted to break something apart piece by piece. "Hey." Their voice was short, clipped, straight to the point. "Get away from the stage. People like you shouldn't be so close to it."
Unfortunately Kami noticed the Negaverse order a bit too late, so he was surprised when he heard the other's yell at him. He arched an eyebrow and turned to see who it had come from. Really, what did this guy mean by "People like you"? That wasn't very nice. Besides, he wasn't just anyone and others usually felt honored to be in his presence. Though he did step down from the stage to fully face the agent.
"Really, I was just looking at it. Don't appreciate someone checking a nice stage? And I'm pretty sure they didn't elect you to be the judge of who could or couldn't be close to the stage." Well really, there could be a number of reasons as to why Kami shouldn't have been close, including safety regulations, but Kami never really thought about that since nothing THAT bad could happen to him.
He cocked his head at the other. "The only bad thing that could happen is you being around, though I'm sure you aren't going to just let me go off and go on my own business now are you Mr. Negaverse Agent?" He said, matter-of-factly. Kami wouldn't pretend that agents would respect his wishes after all that he had heard about them.

Larimar's eyelid twitched. (It was better than 'Ms. Negaverse Agent', they usually would have reasoned; better than it could have been. But they were having a bad night.) "It's not. Mr. And it's not Ms." Oh, they could have lectured him on safety regulations for audience members, if they'd felt like it - but - but - bad night, bad night.
They summoned their weapon to hand and chucked it at him, thin-lipped, irritated.
Kami shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever you want agent." He replied, he wasn't going to argue whatever this agent wanted to be called. Sure, he could have continued to keep calling the other a certain gender, but the agent was already pissed enough it seemed. Better to keep this short then.
He dodged the 'weapon', which Kami could only tell looked like some small pair of scissors, and moved himself back into position, ready for the agent to do a follow-up attack. If there was one nice thing about being a senshi and fighting a negaverse agent, that was the fact that he could at least use a few spells. Though from what he had learned, the more advanced the agent, the more deadly their weapons were, and he wouldn't be taking any chances with this battle.

Larimar shook their hand in annoyance, calling the scissors back, one-two so easy it was barely anything noticeable except one moment the weapon wasn't there and the next it was - their eyes were so, so angry, but their lips curved up into a thin line, gloating before they'd even begun.
"What's the matter, Mister Senshi? Am I really so frightening you can't even muster up the gusto to try and hit me back?"
Kami cocked an eyebrow at the other. This guy had something seriously wrong with him. He sighed, shrugging his shoulders again. "I think you need to calm down a bit or something. You seem to be the only one with a large amount of emotion right now. But..." Kami said, curling his hand into the form a fist, something that was so easy for him to do now, "I can fight you if you want."
And with that he leapt toward the agent, trying to get as close as he could, and shouted "Surgeon's Cut!" while looking straight at the agent and making a slicing motion. He hoped that he would hit, but as far as he knew, Negaverse agents didn't have any magic, so in case he did miss, he would only have to be dodging physical attacks that weren't magic-based.
Kami makes a slicing motion with his hand and if it hits the opponent (they must be seen by his own eyes, cannot be too far away/can clearly see them/looking through something at them [such as a telescope]) then an illusion is placed upon the target that makes it seem as if they are being operated on (up to the player on what is happening, we don't want to make to graphic/fear inducing for the rper!). Can hit 1 target for 25 seconds and up to 3 uses in battle.

The magic hit Larimar, and - well. If Takamizawa had been expecting some kind of violent response, he would have been weirdly disappointed; they frowned a little, looked at their fingers, and then just didn't seem to care.
(So what if they felt like they could see their nerves and muscle moving, with the skin gone, fat flayed away? There wasn't too much pain associated with it, so it wasn't real. If anything - it was fascinating, seeing that in real life.)
Then they darted forward and punched him in the face, surprisingly quick, surprisingly strong.
Kami was distracted by Larimar's reaction. Usually there was screaming or... something. But this agent seemed to be fascinated by it. Kami was so distracted that he didn't see the punch coming until it was too late and got hit in the face with it! Though luckily he had started to turn his head so that he wouldn't get the full impact, but it still hurt!
He tumbled back a bit from the unexpected punch and frowned. Certainly this agent would be no pushover, and he wasn't too sure if this fight would be worth it. After all, he hadn't seen the agent draining anyone, and while he could hold his own in a fight, going up against someone who was physically enhanced without one's weapon, or magic in this case, being effective well... Even if the agent just had kiddie scissors, he still had something on Kami at this point.
After regaining his balance and checking to make sure he wasn't too hurt, Kami frowned at the agent. "I hate to do this but... Looks like you win tonight." He replied. It almost physically hurt him to admit defeat, but it meant he had a lot more training to do. In the small interaction they had had, Kami had learned quite a bit about his enemy and if there were others like this one... He would need to learn what to do when this came back up again.
Before he let the agent get another attack him, Kami was off and away, making sure that the other wasn't following him, and then powering down to be sure that he could not be tracked.

There was something eerie about the fascinated way Larimar glanced down at their hand, flexing each finger, not-quite-distracted by the visuals but interested enough to let him go. He was larger than they were, and if they'd really wanted to pin him down and take his starseed, it would have taken preparation - it would have made a mess. Larimar hated messes.
Anything they could have said would have sounded far too stereotypically villainous. Sure, they weren't exactly batting for light and holy justice here, but they had personal standards.
