Physical Description: Pan stands at 5'9" and has a slim, wiry build. Her complexion is lightly sun-kissed from so many Turns living outdoors. Her chocolate brown eyes often twinkle with good humor and she has a wide mouth that often tilts up in a smile. Pan wears her black hair cropped quite short, except for her bangs which are swept to the side and just touch her chin. Additionally, she is missing half of her left forearm as a result of Threadscoring.
Personality: In spite of her carefully crafted facade of being free-spirited, Pan is a steadfastly loyal woman. While she holds the Weyr as a whole as an entity worthy of her devotion, Pan's loyalties can easily be summed up and categorized as: Lazulith, her brother Valendyr, Weyr. So far, she hasn't been forced to choose one over another and thus has managed very well. In addition to loyalty, Pan is equal parts brave and reckless. She will throw herself into danger to save another without ever really thinking of her own safety.
Additionally, she is honest, preferring to be truthful as it's more useful in the long term. Unfortunately, with that strict code of truth comes a deep-seated mistrust of well, almost everyone. Due to her upbringing and accident, Pan is deeply suspicious of any person that she doesn't know. And to some degree, even those that she does know. Even more constricting is her almost pathological need for control over her own life. Since that first, terrible Threadfall, Pan has searched for some way of exerting an almost iron-like control over herself. Something, anything to counter the horrifying chaos of Thread.

History: Born at Ruatha to a family of traveling entertainers, Pandyr grew up wild and free. When she was small, she would do riding tricks on the back of a small runner beast, getting increasingly daring as she aged. When she turned ten, Pandyr became fascinated by and enamored with acrobatics, teaching herself how to tumble and twist gracefully through the air. By twelve, Pandyr was improving on her craft and learning the art of curtain dancing.
By the time she was fifteen, Pandyr's acrobatics were almost a bigger draw than her older sister's dancing act. Perfectly content to travel and perform, Pandyr was quite close to her family, but especially, her little brother, Valendyr. Shortly after her sixteenth nameday, Pandyr was Searched by the riders of High Reaches Weyr. Though reluctant to leave her family, Pandyr bowed to her father's wish that she go to the Weyr and stand as a Candidate. After all, as her father wisely stated, she would still have a place with the circus if the dragons wouldn't have her. And of course they would have her! How could they not?
Bolstered by her family's faith, Pandyr went to High Reaches and, much to her surprise, Impressed blue Lazulith. Over the next turn, the pair trained hard, though life within High Reaches chafed at Pandyr's freedom loving soul. Upon graduating from training, Pan left the Weyr, stating that her family needed her more than a stuffy, hidebound Weyr.
Upon rejoining the circus, Pan was, in large thanks to Lazulith, able to take her acrobatics to new and dizzying heights. While the blue would hover carefully, Pan would rig special harnesses that allowed her to perform her tricks from above the heads of the audience. And with Lazulith holding the fabric used for her curtain dancing, Pan forced her limits until it looked as if she was flying herself.
The inclusion of Lazulith in the circus as well as Valendyr's dazzling knife tricks brought the family prosperity and Pan had never been happier.
When Thread returned, the family was on the move, Pan's parents astride their prized runners while her brother-in-law drove the wagon with her sister and Valendyr with Pan on Lazulith's back. The only warning was a worried rumble from the dragon before Thread was upon them. Pan watched as the menace consumed her family and their beasts. As Lazulith screamed and took his passengers between, Pan saw a Thread clump about to strike her brother's face. Pulling him backwards and thrusting her arm out to ward the stuff off, Pan's left forearm was wreathed in Thread. Her last conscious thought as Lazulith winked between was how much Thread burned.
Though Pan swears that she doesn't recall much of anything after protecting her brother, Lazulith swears that Valendyr treated her wounded arm and talked her into ordering Lazulith to take them to the Weyr when it became clear that Pan's wound fever was becoming more than the boy could treat. The decision to go to Western, however, was all Lazulith's. Flying straight and as swiftly as possible, the blue dragon got the pair to Western Weyr, though it was clear that had the journey taken any longer, Pan would have died. The Weyr healers amputated the Thread ravaged portion of her left forearm and treated her fever. Even so, it was several weeks before Pan was even remotely well.
As she recovered, Pan clung to dragon and brother and began the long road back to health. Once she was deemed well enough to tend to most of her own needs, Pan worked on learning how to use her arm stump. With her brother's help, she made Lazulith a new harness that allowed her to harness and ride him without outside help. She even built a few little surprises into the harness that allow her to perform a few mid-air acrobatics, though she's busy teaching herself how to adapt those tricks to Threadfighting and rescue.
Pan is still healing and learning how to compensate for a missing forearm, but she's determined. And she's even more determined to join the fighting wings and sear the monster that stole her family from the skies.
Other: Pan's left arm still has the elbow joint and a bit of the arm below said joint.

Size: 23'
Physical Description: A small blue, Lazulith is exceptionally dainty and is fond of aerobatics. His tail is a touch too long and tends to trip him up when on the ground.
Personality: Lazulith was born with a healthy dose of compassion as well as curiosity. He is endlessly fascinated with the healing and husbandry of humans and beasts. In fact, the poor blue has a great fondness for runner beasts and is endlessly saddened that they will never be his friends due to their inborn terror of dragons. Due to his interest in healing, Lazulith will often volunteer to help other wounded people or dragons and is amazingly calm in the face of his own rider's mishaps. Though he would very much prefer that she never gets hurt like she did in the first Fall. That was scary!

Let me know if you want her in a fighting wing or if you want her to kind of work her way back into one ICly and through RP?
She's likely helping the weyrlings or maybe doing small errands around the weyr. R'mor and Hestia probably don't want to risk a rider going into Thread without knowing for certain they can combat it without issue.

She's likely helping the weyrlings or maybe doing small errands around the weyr. R'mor and Hestia probably don't want to risk a rider going into Thread without knowing for certain they can combat it without issue.
