Hello. This thread is reserved for the main fairies that befrended tinkerbell throughout the Tinkerbell series of movies that were released in 2008 - 2015. See Here for more info about the film series.
To sum it all up, it basically tells the story of how Tinkerbell came to be. In the future, it is hoped that there will be a sequel on how Tinkerbell meets Peter Pan.

Silvermist is first seen at Tinker Bell's arrival to Pixie Hollow alongside other fairies from her talent and others. She, Rosetta, Iridessa, and Fawn quickly befriend Tinker Bell upon her first day in Pixie Hollow. At one point in the film, Tinker Bell makes the decision to change her talent. Silvermist is the first to offer aid, though she still believes Tinker Bell should accept her talent. Silvermist takes Tink into the ponds to teach her how to put water drops on spider webs. However, since Tinker Bell is destined to be a tinker fairy, this fails.
After the water-talent disaster, Silvermist watches on the sidelines as Tinker Bell attempts to learn other talents from Iridessa, Fawn, and Rosetta. When all of that fails, Tinker Bell stumbles upon a ballerina music box. Silvermist, Rosetta, Fawn, and Iridessa watch in silence as Tinker Bell tinkers the music box to restoration, proving that her talent is just what she's good at. At the climax of the film, Tinker Bell accidentally destroys the preparations for spring, preventing the fairies and sparrow men from journeying to the mainland and changing the season.
Tinker Bell redeems herself, however, and Silvermist offers to help by using Tinker Bell's innovations to repair all the damage. In the end, Silvermist and the others journey to the mainland, with Tinker Bell tagging along to return the music box she found.
Weaknessess
Her bubbly/silly attitude may not be best suited for serious situations.
Strengths:
Even though Sil can be silly sometimes, she is very smart and sympathetic. When Silvermist runs into Terence, who has just left from an argument with Tinker Bell. Silvermist advises him to give Tink some time to cool off.

Like the other fairies and sparrow men, Rosetta was present at Tinker Bell's arrival. Rosetta, Iridessa, Fawn, and Silvermist first befriend Tinker Bell after the fairy accidentally crashes her mouse-bound cart as a result of a Sprinting Thistle attack. After comforting the tinker, Clank and Bobble arrive with new supplies for the fairies forthcoming trip to the Main Land. Rosetta and the others showcase their magnificent abilities by testing out the new supplies, leaving Tinker Bell at awe. This gives the tinker the urge to go to the mainland, but tinker fairies are not allowed to go as there is no reason.
In an attempt to travel to the mainland, Tink decides to switch her talent, something that hasn't been done before. She goes to Rosetta and the others for help, but the friends feel Tinker Bell should accept her destiny. However, like her friends, Rosetta decides to help and an array of different test occurs. Despite the effort, all the attempts fail. After a while, Rosetta and her friends witness Tink repair a music box, proving her talent is correct. Even so, Tink still wants to change her talent and goes to the villainous Vidia as a last result. Vidia tricks the tinker into trying to round up the Sprinting Thistles, which ends up destroying Pixie Hollow's preparations for spring.
Tinker Bell creates new ways to repair things after having a talk with Terence. He makes her realize that being a tinker is what she's destined to become. Rosetta stands by Tink's side and uses her inventions, and spring is eventually saved. In the end, Rosetta and the others travel to the mainland as planned, having Tinker Bell, Clank, and Bobble tag along to return the repaired music box to its rightful owner..
During secret of the Wings, Rosetta and the others evacuate to the Pixie Dust Tree as shelter. However the Pixie Dust Tree is also in danger of being destroyed, but Tink thinks of a way to save it. If Peri and the frost fairies can preserve the tree, like she did the flower, Pixie Hollow would be saved. When the frost fairies arrive, Rosetta develops a crush on the sparrow man Sled. Sled appears to return the feelings and tells Rosetta to stay warm. While Rosetta and the others take cover inside one of the Pixie Dust Tree's hollows, Peri and the others preserve it.
When the ice melts, the pixie dust returns and all is well. The warm fairies are then allowed to cross the border to the Woods. There, at a celebration party, Rosetta reunites with Sled and the two proclaim their love.
Weaknesses:
Vanity, her dislike of mud as a Garden-fairy.
Strengths:
Fairies never tell their age, of course, but Rosetta arrived in Pixie Hollow before most of her friends. So she’s a little wiser than the others. Older too, but she certainly doesn't look it!

Personality:
When all is said and done, Vidia is sly, grouchy, vindictive, and narcissistic, but has a good heart. She tends to use sugary phrases such as "darling" and "dear" in a condescending manner to other fairies
History:
When a new fairy arrives in Pixie Hollow, Vidia and the other fairies are present to witness what talent she shall become. The fairy, eventually named Tinker Bell, becomes a tinker fairy. Vidia scoffs at the tinker-talents, calling them the most useless talent in all of Pixie Hollow. Later on, Tinker Bell attempts to befriend Vidia, but Vidia immediately dislikes her because of her unusually strong talent. During their first meeting, Vidia also learns that Tinker Bell believes she is going to the mainland, though no one informed her that it is only nature-talent fairies that travel to the mainland. In an attempt to witness the fairy embarrass herself, Vidia advises Tink to prove her worth of going to the mainland, prompting Tinker Bell to create an array of inventions to showcase during Queen Clarion's review.
Later on at the review, Vidia witnesses as Tinker Bell's inventions prove to be less than impressive. Vidia watches happily as Queen Clarion informs Tink that tinkers do not go to the mainland as it is only a job for the nature-talents, leaving the tinker downhearted. Because tinkers cannot go to the mainland, Tinker Bell decides to change her talent, something that hasn't been done before. During a lesson on how to be an animal fairy, Tinker Bell accidentally attracts the attention of a hawk. Tink hides in Vidia's private hiding spot in a tree hollow. Vidia falls into the hawk's vision and is nearly killed, though the other fairies save her by throwing fruits at the creature, but Vidia is also hit. After the hawk retreats, Vidia lifts herself up but is covered with fruit, proving to be quite embarrassing.
Tink tries to help, but Vidia denies and tells the tinker off. After Tinker Bell fails to learn the other talents, she goes to Vidia for help as a last resort. Vidia craftily tells the tinker that capturing the vicious sprinting thistles would prove her worth. However, once she sees Tinker Bell making progress, she lets the captured thistles loose and, while attempting to recapture them, Tink destroys all the preparations for spring. Tink decides to redeem herself, however, by making good use of her talent and concocting various innovations to help restore all the preparations thrice as fast.
When Vidia witnesses this, she attempts to destroy everyone's sudden hope in the tinker by reminding them that she was the cause of the disaster. Vidia and Tink then get into a heated argument, during which Tink asked Vidia if she has helped anyone but herself, unknowingly got Vidia to yell that she should have told her to capture the hawk instead of the thistles, thus revealing her true self. Queen Clarion punishes the fast-flying fairy by forcing her to gather all the sprinting thistles that Tink unintentionally unleashed upon Pixie Hollow, thus Vidia was never an antagonist again.
Weaknesses:
She is said to be the fastest fairy in Pixie Hollow, but her title gets to her head, as she is determined to keep her title and would go to great lengths to achieve this. Not only does she feel she is the best in speed, but the best fairy overall and berates anyone who thinks otherwise. She is incredibly strong-willed and outspoken, much like Tinker Bell, which can also indicate why the two fairies clash many times.
Strengths:
Despite her negative traits, Vidia ultimately has a good heart, most notably seen in Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue where she traps Tinker Bell in a fairy-sized house made by a human girl in an attempt to teach Tink a lesson on how dangerous human things can be. When the human girl ends up taking Tink to her home, Vidia puts all of her differences with the tinker aside to rescue her. Upon this adventure, Vidia reforms completely and is shown to be much friendlier with Tink and her friends.
As a fairy, Fawn usually wears shades of orange. she also has pointed ears and clear wings on her back.

Personality:
Fawn is a rascally yet beautiful tomboy full of mirth and mischief. She is always ready to play and the more rough-and-tumble the game, the better. Fawn is a born prankster — she likes to play tricks on Iridessa, Beck and Horace— and Tinker Bell loves her mischievous nature.
History:
Fawn is first seen at Tinker Bell's birth, along with many other fairies and sparrow men, to see what talent Tink is destined to become. Tinker Bell is destined to become a tinker fairy, though the desire to go to the mainland alongside the nature-talent fairies gives Tink the urge to change her talent. Like her friends Rosetta, Iridessa and Silvermist, Fawn is against Tinker Bell's desire to change talents but goes through with it anyway to help her friend.
Fawn attempts to teach Tinker Bell how to teach baby birds the art of flight, which requires patience and coordination, something Tinker Bell lacks. Instead, the lesson leads to a deadly hawk attack and results in another failure for Tinker Bell's talent-changing mission. Later on, Fawn and the others spot Tinker Bell fixing a ballerina music box she found, which proves to Fawn and the others that Tinker Bell is indeed meant to become a tinker fairy.
At the film's climax, Tinker Bell accidentally unleashes Sprinting Thistles as a result of Vidia's plot to ruin the tinker. The thistles destroy all of the festivities meant for the nature fairies to travel to the mainland to change the season. However, Tinker Bell puts her talent to good use by conjuring up several innovations, able to restore the preparations in no time. Fawn stands by Tink's side and uses these new innovations, and in the end, the season is able to change on schedule.
In the finale, Fawn and the others travel to the mainland, with Tinker Bell by her side, who is to return the music box she restored to its rightful owner.
Weaknesses:
In the Great Fairy rescue, Once they finally reach the human house, Fawn and her friends are attacked by their cat. Despite being an animal fairy, Fawn is unable to immediately tame the cat under pressure. A chase pursues before Fawn is able to find catnip, eventually taming the cat. While Fawn and the others are taming the cat, Vidia is kidnapped by the Lizzy's father and is taken to London for study. (Fawn cannot act well under pressure). Fawn is also revealed to be a vegetarian and will not eat meat since it is made from animals.
Strengths:
She speaks many different animal languages, but the burp-like toad-speak is her favorite.
Fawn also has a softer side to her, being one of the caretakers of Mother Dove in the books. She is fluent in most animal languages and is considered one of the best of her talent. As said before, Fawn is a tomboy and one of the things she takes a disliking to is getting herself gussied up. As a caretaker of animals, Fawn has shown to have a strong motherly side, especially seen when she's dealing with baby birds, as she is known to assist the parenting bird in teaching the babies how to fly. She is also said to be the youngest of Tink's closest friends.

Personality:
Clever, friendly, resourceful, a bit worrisome, humorous, smart.
History:
Iridessa is first seen at Tinker Bell's arrival, alongside her friends and other light-talent fairies. They quickly befriend the newcomer Tinker Bell upon her first full day in Pixie Hollow. One day, however, while getting their supply of pixie dust, Iridessa, Rosetta, Silvermist and Fawn are greeted by an excitable Tink who tells her friends that she plans on changing her talent, so she can be able to travel to the mainland alongside them. Like the rest of her friends, Iridessa is hesitant to follow through with such an idea and is actually the last of Tink's friends to accept the idea.
After training to become a water-talent fairy ends in failure, Tink attempts to become a light fairy. Iridessa attempted to teach her how to catch light and bestow upon lightning bugs. Like the water fairy training, the light talent training ends in disaster. After more failed attempts with Rosetta and Fawn, Tinker Bell finds a lost music box and begins to repair it. Unbeknown to her, Iridessa and the others were witnessing the event silently and are proud to see Tinker Bell putting her talent to good use.
Weaknesses:
Iridessa, one of the most talented light fairies, is a detail-oriented perfectionist. She’s passionate about her work, but can also be a worrywart, even when she tries to see the bright side of things, but often smells disaster.
Strengths:
In the end, she will do anything to help a friend.
As a fairy, Zarina is Small, slender, pretty, fair skinned, has thick wavy auburn hair, and light hazel eyes. During the movie, she wore a pirate outfit. She also has pointed ears and clear wings on her back.

As a human, Zarina still has most of her features. However, she doesn't have pointed ears or wings as a human being.

Personality:
Determined, roguish, ambitious, not afraid to speak her mind, kind, brave, smart, inquisitive, sneaky, crafty, convincing, persuasive, sly, cunning, tricky, curious.
History:
While experimenting, they discover that when mixed, pixie dust can change color and be infused with the power of a certain talent. For example, when a small amount of blue pixie dust and a purple feather is mixed, the pixie dust turns purple, representing the fast-flying-talent. If pink flower petals are added instead, it turns pink and it represents the garden talent. However, it goes out of control after hitting a sapling, causing chaos when the tree grows too big. Zarina is expelled from Dust-Keeping and runs away until she returns one year later.
Zarina, now the very first pirate fairy and captain, uses magenta-colored fairy dust to make poppies sprout behind the spectators at the Four Seasons Festival. She then throws dust at the poppies to make them bloom and release pollen, which puts all the fairies in the Fairy Coliseum into a deep sleep. While all the fairies are asleep, Zarina flies into the Pixie Dust Depot and steals the blue pixie dust. The only fairies that were not in the coliseum when Zarina set the poppies off were Tink, Silvermist, Rosetta, Iridessa, Fawn, Vidia and Clank. When Tink and her friends discover that Zarina has stolen the mighty and vital blue pixie dust, they follow the blue light until they reach the coast and see a rowboat of pirates rowing Zarina and the blue pixie dust towards their ship.
After Tinker Bell and the others try to take back the blue pixie dust from the pirates, she takes the experimented pixie dust in different colors representing the different talents and throws it at Tinker Bell, Silvermist, Rosetta, Iridessa, Fawn, and Vidia, swapping their talents.
With her fellow pirates she feels appreciated for her talents and her closest friend is James the cabin boy. Unfortunately, she is betrayed, as the pirates have only been using her to get their ship to fly. With help from Tinker Bell and the other fairies, they battle the pirates and get back the blue dust.
Zarina almost goes her separate way but the fairies offer her to come home which she happily accepts. She returns to Pixie Hollow, restoring all, including giving her new allies their proper talents to have a spectacular show, and, being welcomed again, is able to show her talent called Pixie Dust Alchemy to the other fairies.
Weaknesses:
Her rebellious nature can lead to trouble since she enjoys being rebellious and breaking rules.
Strengths:
Zarina is much like Tinker Bell, full of curiosity and ending up in trouble when seeking out her answers. She also goes against the advice of what others say. Upon close inspection, Zarina is the only dust-keeper fairy to have a decorative apron. It possibly serves as a symbolism of her uniqueness and reckless nature. Zarina is the first fairy we see really walking a lot because she saved her fairy dust for experiments as opposed to flight.

Personality:
Laid back, cautious, loyal, sarcastic. Although she appears blunt and unenthusiastic, Spike is genuinely concerned when it comes to the wellbeing of her friends.
History:
At the Frost Forest, Spike and Gliss (but mostly Gliss) are busy practicing when Periwinkle arrives and introduces them to a warm season fairy, Tinker Bell. Gliss is immediately excited to learn that Tink and Peri are sisters, but Spike finds it rather hard to believe and suggests Tinker Bell return home to Pixie Hollow as the law forbids warm fairies from crossing the border into winter, and vice versa. Gliss decides to show Tink around anyways, and Spike reluctantly joins. The next day, Periwinkle asks Spike, Gliss and their friends Sled and Slush, to help Tink and the others create an ice making machine by carrying a huge block of ice over to the border.
When the ice block is connecting to the ice machine, the machine creates snow and allows Periwinkle to see other parts of Pixie Hollow, the warm parts. Spike is still on the fence with the whole idea, but Peri heads off anyway. Afterwards, Peri's wings are almost destroyed because of the heat and she is rushed home. Not only that, Lord Milori forbids her from ever seeing Tinker Bell again, but for her own good. Later on, Spike and her friends are encountered by Tinker Bell who brings grave news. The snow making machine went berserk and threw off the balance of the seasons.
Now the warm areas of Pixie Hollow are becoming as cold as the Winter Woods, and soon, the Pixie Dust Tree would be destroyed, making fairy life impossible. Tink explains her plan however. If Spike, Peri and Gliss preserve the Pixie Dust Tree with their magic ice, the tree will be saved. Spike, Peri, and Gliss hurry to the Pixie Dust Tree and begin the plan. Unfortunately, the tree is far too big for just three frost fairies to preserve, but Lord Milori arrives with Sled, Dewey, and many other frost fairies. Soon enough, Pixie Hollow is saved and warm fairies are allowed to cross the border, so long as their wings are preserved with frost talent magic.
Spike is last seen with Gliss, Sled, and many new fairy friends as they celebrate the new unity between Pixie Hollow and the Winter Woods.
Weaknesses:
Her serious and cautious side of her may allow her to take longer when adjusting to change. As a fairy, when she doesn't have enough fairy dust, she cannot fly without it.
Strengths:
Like most other frost-talent fairies and sparrow men, Spike is aware of the dangers of crossing the border from the Winter Woods to the warm portion of Pixie Hollow. She is also one of Periwinkle's friends. She appears to be a foil to her friend Gliss who is very energetic and enthusiastic, whilst Spike tends to be rather inert when it comes to practicing her talent.
As a fairy, Gliss has Long white hair in a ponytail and gray eyes along with pointed ears, wings, and a tank top with capris made from light blue leaves .

In the Frost Forest, Gliss is happily frosting leaves while Spike is laying on a leaf. Gliss tells Spike to practice and Spike simply puts her foot on a leaf, frosting it and saying "Practicing". When Periwinkle and Tink slide in, Gliss is ecstatic to hear that Peri and Tink were born from the same laugh, making them sisters. Spike however, thinks that Peri should return Tink back to the warm side. Gliss decides to show Tink around anyways, and Spike tags along. Gliss, Spike, and Peri take Tinker Bell ice sliding, showing off their talents in the process. That night however, Dewey, the keeper of fairy knowledge and good friend to Lord Milori, the ruler of the Winter Woods, is forced to have Tinker Bell return home, fearing her wings would freeze and decay in the ice cold climate.
Tinker Bell and Peri decide to think of a way to see each other again, and have Periwinkle journey to the warm seasons in Pixie Hollow. Gliss, Spike, Sled, and Slush take a large block of ice from the glacier. The ice block will be put ontu a snow making machine that will allow Peri to cross the border separating Pixie Hollow and the Winter Woods. Before Peri leaves, Gliss asks her to bring back the biggest acorn she can find, something she's been aching to have. After a day of laughs and merriment, the block of ice melts and Peri is forced to return home. When she does, Lord Milori arrives and notices Peri's wings shriveling. Peri's wings recover within minutes of crossing back over the border but Milori declares that she and Tink may never see each other again.
Periwinkle and Tink part ways, seemingly forever. Afterwards, the pixie dust providing fountain in the Winter Woods begins to give in. Tink arrives in the Winter Woods and alert Gliss, Spike, and Peri that the Pixie Dust Tree is in danger of being destroyed as a result of Pixie Hollow's dropping temperature caused by the snow making machine. Gliss, Spike, and Peri are asked to preserve the tree using their frost magic. Because of the tree's grand size however, the trio are unable to do so in time. Milori, Dewey, and several frost fairies arrive and finishes the job right on time.
After all is good, Lord Milori realizes that the only reason the chaos occurred, is because he and Queen Clarion tried to separate Tink and Peri. The powerful fairies then allowed warm fairies to cross the border. To make this safe, Gliss and Spike preserve the wings of the fairies that cross over, allowing them to spend as much time as they want in the Winter Woods. During the celebration, Tink's friend Bobble gives Gliss a large acorn as a gift, much to Gliss' absolute delight. Gliss is very happy and will forever love the acorn.
Weaknesses:
Her bubbly personality may not be the best case in serious situations..(Also her pixie dust weakness as a fairy as stated above for other fairies)

As a fairy, Rani wears a blue long sleeved dress with a matching headband. She had long golden hair, pointed ears, fair skin, and piercing blue eyes. However, She lost her wings during Fairy Dust & The Quest for the Egg
Human Form:
As a human, Rani still has her long golden hair, blue eyes, and most of her other features. Since she didn't have wings very long as a fairy, being human is not much different. The only difference is her new human attire and her non-pointed ears. As well as being the same size as a human.

In Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg, she is choosen to be the head of the questers after Mother Dove's egg broke. She, Prilla, and Vidia helped get the three items needed to trade with Kyto. Captain Hook's double cigar holder, a golden feather from the golden hawk, and a Mermaid's Comb. To get a mermaid's comb, Rani had Prilla cut off her wings to go and retrieve it from Soop. Once removed, her wings became crystallized and she looked forward to putting them back on later if possible. They then took all the items to Kyto and he saved it but also contaminated it, Causing the golden hawk's feather to be lost. Saddened, Rani had no choice but to give her crystallized wings to Kyto. Afterward, Brother Dove is also introduced to her as her new wings.
Weaknesses:
She is not able to fly on her own and often relies on Brother Dove to help her fly places she otherwise couldn't get to.
Strengths:
Rani can do amazing, magical things with water: bounce it like a ball, mold it into the shape of a fish, or scoop it up in her fingers without losing a drop. Her lack of wings also gives her more experience with walking, swimming, and enjoying life in the ground instead of up in the clouds.
