User Image Shou was excited for today, having worked hard to make a lot of baked treats with Rex (With guidance from her mother Rodina) to see who could sell the most treats to the general public. Shou and Rex had managed during school to start getting competitive, and Shou had said they could sell treats like none other. What came next was the two agree to have a bit of a competition, having two stands next to each other in public while their mother Rodina watched to make sure nothing bad happened.

Their stand was nice and pretty, lots of flowers to grab passing people's attention. To match the stand they should lots and lots of flower themed treats, making their stand look uniformed and appealing. Shou knew that appearance was everything when it came to business, so their stand and treats had to be perfect. With their stand set up, Shou went over to Rex and helped with their stand set up ", Are you excited? All our hard-work is about to be put to the test! We are both going to sell so many treats... but of course I am going to win! My stand is the prettiest!"

Rex Looked up at Shou, he was enjoying their budding friendship, Shou challenged him and when he got a little to bossy for his boots they definitely had the power to cut him down to size!

He had laid his table with a Black and brown striped cover and used Black filigree photo frames to list the prices of his wares, overall his table looked quite Gothic but he loved that aesthetic!

He looked over at Shou's table and had a pang of Jealousy, everything they made looked so pretty, the flowers were fresh and lovely and if he was honest with himself Shou had done a much better job with decorating their treats! But none the less he was proud and determined.

"It looks good..." He paused for dramatic effect "But a little babyish" he waved it away with his hand, Watching for her reaction from the corner of his eye. He knew she would take it in a way noone else tended too, She seemed to understand him even when he said things that didn't sound so nice.

He sat his plushie Raccoon Ziggy down on the table next to his Money box, so he could guard his earnings.

"Ready Shou?!" He held out his tiny hand towards her...

User Image "I do like your stand. It has it's own aura that could attract a demographic of people that wouldn't like my stand, since mine is too babyish for the likes of a no fun adult like you," Shou stuck their tongue back at him, followed by their normally charming giggle ", I kid! Both our stands look nice! I like how you have all the prices set up. Nice and organized and in view to those close and farther away, which reminds me!" They rushed over to a box and pulled out a few last things for their own stand, little papers folded so they could stand up next to the item it was the price for. Each had a 3D paper flower that matched the treat it was supposed to be the price for, which added to the ascetic of their stand. The last item was their box they had made to handle money, a shoe box with floral printed paper covering it and more of the 3D flowers they had made ", Okay! I am ready!" With their hand reached out they took a hold of Rex's, giving it a firm shake ", Whoever wins gets to pick the ice cream we eat when we get back to my place. On your mark, get set... go!"

Rex snapped his fingers at her little price tags, that was a stroke of pure genius Only Shou would think of that excellent little add-on!
"How did you make the flowers?" He stepped over to her table and fingered the little paper petals, "They look so pretty Shou."
He wasn't very good at making 'Pretty' things, but he really admired those who could.

"I mean... the babies should really like those." He gave her a cheeky little side smile and grasped her hand "You better be ready for some Chocolatey chip ice cream Shou, I'm feeling Lucky."

He looked over at Rodina to make sure they were okay to open.

User Image Shou's mother gave the nod and Shou rushed over to their stand to start trying to draw in customers, using their cuteness to their advantage. Even if they was a hallow, Shou knew they were still a sight to behold ", Do you like your treats to not just be sweet, but stylish? Then I got the sweet stylish treats here!" They used some of their charming looks to attract a few customers, drawing in five people right off the bat. Wow! People really did seem to like their treats! How many had Rex been able to attract already?

Rex glanced over at Shou, she was so good, Of course she was going to be popular!

Rex put on his biggest smile, He worried it might look a little scary... and his fears were confirmed when only two people walked over!

"Thankyou for popping by, there's plenty more, Please go head and buy multiples!" he Put all the money in his money box.
Two was a good start but Shou was already ahead of him!
"Well done Shou, you are doing a really good job." He called over to her, Despite the competition he was still able to give credit where it was due.

User Image "Thank you Rex!" Shou responded as the next wave of five people came to their stand, many commenting on how cute their stand was and how they liked the flowers on everything. Shou felt kind of bad for Rex, because they knew that his treats were just as good as their's. Their stand was well presented as well, but were people simply buying from their stand more than Rex's because Shou's was more pretty? It was a pretty big possibility. Hopefully Rex would get a rush of people soon too. Shou liked winning, but they liked things to be close, not a landslide victory! ", I'm sure you'll get more people soon. Then again, I can't wait to bring home that strawberry extra very berry ice cream back after all this! Then I can show you how to make my baby flowers as you call them!"

Rex Looked over at Shou's second influx of customers, clearly cute and pretty was doing the job, it probably helped that Shou was so interesting to look at their self, so many colours and he'd never tell them but they were really rather pretty too!

3 customers came up to his table; he smiled (What he hoped was an okay amount) And thanked them for their visit.
He started to wonder if maybe he should have taken a little more care over his presentation.
"Maybe the baby flowers would have helped me some?" He hated to admit defeat but it looked like Shou was going to absolutely thrash him!
He was going to have to practice his sales technique if he was going to be a big time salesman in his future!
He tugged at his ear lobe a bad habit he'd always had when he was feeling a little nervous!

User Image Seeing how Rex still wasn't getting a lot of people, between the next four people to come to their stand Shou started to make something, hiding it from Rex until they had finished it. With a small enough break for them to present it, Shou went over to Rex and showed him the gigantic paper flower they had made for him. It had a Gothic feel to it like the rest of his stand, so it would match nicely ", Ta da! I have a big not babyish flower for you to have at your stand for display! It is black and grey with some tan, so it will match your current stand quite nicely. It will draw people's attention, but they will still see you as not a little kid. They'll think of you as a business man with presentation! We can hang it up in the top corner where you don't have anything displaying at the moment. I like winning, but it isn't fun when my competition isn't doing well. You deserve as much of a chance at winning as me! If we ever do this again we can come up with something else to draw people's attention, but I think this business flower will do just as well! Also, if it decreases business you can simply take it down!"

Rex was incredibly thankful that Shou was his friend "You made that for me? Thankyou Shou...." He placed it pride of place on his table like the treats were blooming from it!
He was happy to see 3 more people visit his stall, Even if he didn't win the contest he would be happy to have made a bit of money for his efforts!
"Hey Shou..." He called when they both had a lull "What do you think you'll buy with your profits? Or are you going to save them?"
He quite often saved his money, but he'd been eyeing up a tiny little sweater for his Raccoon Ziggy at the toy store.

User Image "You're welcome Rex! I am happy you like my gift! It was harder to make since it is so big." They cleaned up their stand a bit while they waited for the next few customers, hearing his question on what they would do with the money they earned ", I am saving up for a new high magic tech tablet so I can keep track of my business sales, Got to stay a head if I am to make it big!" Shou explained, even more people coming to their stand. Five more customers for Shou to sell amazing flowery treats to!

Shou knew they wanted to be like their mother and be into business, so they better start saving up now for equipment! First off the tablet, then start investing more into other produces, maybe clothing? ", I am going to be a business owner when I get older, like my mommy! Maybe you and I could run the business together even!" They liked the idea of running a business with Rex. After all, he was their best friend.

Rex nodded and looked at his Meager takings, it's a good thing he didn't have as high dreams because he definitely wasn't going to have much at the end of the day!
"I would like that Shou, clearly you have something I don't!" He laughed a little "What does your Mummy do?" As they were talking one more person came up to his stall, he was about ready to give up, but he knew a true business man doesn't give up!

User Image "My mommy is a business woman who is still going to university to learn more," Shou explained as their biggest crowd came to their stand yet, six people wanting their treats and telling them how pretty and good tasting everything looked. They tried to put on a happy face for the customers, but Shou was sad that no one was going to Rex's stand. They had been sure the flower would attract more people. It made Rex's stand show more, so why weren't people going to Rex's? Was mommy rigging this in their favor? When they looked back to see if maybe Mommy was paying people or giving them the look, she was simply doing her homework she needed done. So it wasn't because of mommy, so why wasn't Rex getting people? ", I'm sure more people will show up to your stand soon. You have an amazing stand after all, and you are an amazing business man."

"Your mummy looks like she's working really hard! That will be me one day." He said looking over at her.
One more customer visited his stall, he sighed and started to pack up, clearly he wasn't doing too well, but he enjoyed the experience this gave him, obviously next time they did something like this he needed to have a good old think over his presentation, maybe he was scaring people off?
"Well done Shou, I think we can safely say you are the winner." he put the left over treats in tupperware containers, he was going to ask Rodina if she wouldn't mind them stopping off at the Orphanage on the way home so he could donate his leftovers, A good businessman knows to help others as well as themselves!
"Do you think your Mummy will let me drop of these treats at the Orphanage? I hope they might enjoy them." he asked Shou while folding up his tablecloth and boxing his little frames.

User Image "I hope next time you get more customers," Shou replied, starting to pack up as well. They had managed to get way more customers, their box almost completely full of money while Rex didn't have much. Even though they had sold so many treats, Shou had so much more to put away than Rex. That was one downside to all their decorations, but it could of been the reason they got so much more customers than Rex.

When Rex spoke they were half expecting them to be saddened quite a bit by his lose, but turned a little shocked when Rex mentioned the orphanage. What... did Rex go to the same orphanage as big brother?! ", The orphanage? You're from the orphanage like big brother Floin?"
