Each contestant is set on the shore of the island, and the water-filled air plays heavy in your lungs. It's hard to breathe, but not impossible. Almost immediately, your skin is damp and your clothing is moistened.
The Jounin who brought you here hands each of you a pack and smiles. "Good luck. You're going to need it with those fog generators obscuring your vision."
Then, they step back and disappear into the mist.

Alright guys, now that the RP is out of the way, here's how you advance:
On your turn, you may move OR attempt to attack another player.
To move, a player must roll [1d10+(Agility/100) /2] – Y. The number you get is the number of steps you move.
Distance required to move: 100 steps
To attack, a player must declare their target and roll (Intelligence x 2) – X vs target's (Agility x 2). If you successfully target a player, they are considered marked. Whether you succeed or fail to attack an enemy, you lose a kunai from your 10.
You may not acquire more kunai. No picking them up off of the ground, no taking them from other players, and you cannot be given more kunai by another player.
To disable a fog generator, first roll 1d10 + (Int/100) vs 9 + Y to find the generator. If successful, roll a 1d10 + (Int/100) vs 8 to disable the generator. If you use a Kunai to disable the generator, you must declare whether you are using it in hand or throwing it. If you throw it, you will expend one of your 10 kunai.
X = 100 x # of Fog Generators functioning (Max 300)
Y = # of Fog Generators functioning (Max 3)
Please keep track of your distance moved in your posts, that way it's easier for everyone.
Have fun guys! And remember! No buffs or doujutsu!

More Information:
Turn order is Raven62, DenShazo, Come Play, ssAntonio, Karasu_Tenma.
But due to inability to be active, we are allowing a 5 posts per day. Day resets at 12:01AM in your time zone.
There are only 3 Fog Generators.
If you roll poorly enough that the resulting movement would be a negative number, you will not be moved backwards. The movement number simply sets itself to 0 in this case.

Haikyo's trip to water country left him antsy to say the least. He wanted to know who he would be facing off against. He wanted to know who his opponents would be. He had always hear that the Chuunin exams were large scale events for all countries to attend. Hence why it was held in a different one this year. However, when he arrived, stepping up toward the group of proctors, he noticed he had been the first to arrive. Slowly the other four slid in behind, and he realized something rather strange. He quirked a brow as he looked around himself. 'There are only shinobi from Fire Country here...where is the rest of the ninja world? This feels...wrong...' He thought to himself as he focused, his features hardening. No matter how much of a little brother he looked at Juugou as, or a mentor that he looked at Sai as...both of these people were his enemies here. Even Nisha.
As the Jounin approached him, Haikyo closed his eyes and placed his hand on the man's shoulder. Haikyo felt his body as though it has become a movinf pool of water before solidifying once more. When his eyes opened he was on the shore of a foggy island. Haikyo took the bundle of Kunai from his instructor, but they said nothing to each other as the jounin moved off into the mist, and Haikyo prepared to take his first steps into this exam.
The others would have been dropped off at other locations around the island, so for now, he would not know where they were. Hell, even if they were right in front of him he doubted that he would be able to make it too far into the island. The fog looked bad from far away, sure, but it was nothing to the degree it was on the island itself. He could barely see his hands or feet right in front of him, let alone anything else. He blinked through the haze, but he pressed on. He knew he would reach...some sort of objective at some point...was it the other side of the island? But if there were five people in different locations of the same island, how would they all know where to go? They weren't told anything other than to go....Haikyo was endlessly confused by this 'exam'. He was sure there was a point to it all...everything would make sense soon. He just had to keep on his toes. Perhaps it was exactly what they were trying to do...confuse them and see how they reacted. Haikyo would not be cowed by their tactics.

Juugou had remained quiet on the boat ride to the island since no one else had opted to speak. The atmosphere was tense, and the thickening fog did nothing to help the situation. Everyone aboard their vessel was from the hidden leaf: Sai, Haikyo, and Nisha were familiar faces, however there was one person he didn't recognize. Juugou made a mental note of the individual and sat with his arms folded the rest of the way.
Once they had arrived on the island a proctor introduced himself as Kenji Hyuuga and began to explain the details of the year's exams. Before continuing his spiel he noted that he had expected more contestants to show up, causing Juugou to look around. Were there really no other genin from the other countries? What happened to the Mist girls? It really looked like it was gonna be a battle between allies. Accepting the unfortunate reality of the situation, the young Aburame devoted his undivided attention to the rest of the information that was provided.
After Haikyo had received his kunai he was ferried off to another location by a jounin. Juugou followed suit, placing his hand on the shoulder of the Mist shinobi that approached him and accepting his ten kunai. He then followed the woman to a small boat and was taken in the opposite direction. After traveling a few minutes the boat was beached and the jounin gave Juugou the okay to begin.

A breathy sigh pushed past Sai's lips as he arrived on the island. It had been his first time returning to his homeland in years and it was not what he expected. Where there should have been a surge of pride he was met with only disappointment... The strength of this nation had fallen just like the rest of the world.
Careful eyes surveyed the mists... no. Fog. It was too dense to be a natural mist and it certainly wasn't a jutsu that created it, he was too familiar with the technique to be wrong. With curiosity, he watched the thick wisps of white that surrounded him... watched as they curled in strange patterns as if they were colliding against each other and flowing on different currents. Frowning, he removed and folded his cloak before laying it on the ground by his feet. Removing the bracers that protected his arms next, he raised his arms to either side of him and closed his eyes, feeling the fog brushing against his arms he waited quietly. There was an unnatural breeze that pushed against his skin from different directions. 'Something is creating and pushing this fog out..' Letting his arms fall back down, he began to replace his bracers as he shook his head softly. Technology. With another sigh, he pulled his cloak on and pulled out three of the provided kunais before swiftly throwing them out into the thick fog that surrounded him.
Quietly, Sai waited and after a few moments he was greeted with two explosions. Frowning he looked in the direction of the only kunai that was not greeted by an explosion. It would be a few minutes to pass but the fog would dramatically begin to disappear and while there would still be a dense fog, visibility would be greatly increased... so much so that Sai could see in the distance the last generator. Did he miss or did he not put enough force? Pulling another kunai out he began walking deeper into the island as he planned out his next move.

Before the exam had started Nisha had spent a little of time in the Land of Water taking her time to try some of the food of the land and learning of different places and learning about the history that was both very bloody as it is widely known but also some of the most interesting that she had learned so far, and as she spent time in the village with the lead up to the Chunin exam Nisha got told by the people she had been talking with and learning form that she should pick up warmer clothing and also good gear for swimming, it wasn't called the Land of Water and Mist for nothing, it was filled with cold mist and large bodies of water that would require swimming or wading or trudge thought to reach different places.
The time had come and Nisha along with the other Genin that were taking the test today it was actually a little weird as she looked at the others on the shore she knew three of them, Haikyo, Juugou and Sai were ninja that she had worked with for a sort amount of time, and the other was someone she hadn't meet before but was from the same village judging by they headband and she smiled a little as she looked around the area and at the ninja that seemed to be the ones in charge of the event, Nisha listen to the instructions given on how the events would play out aside from the forth test, and she made mental note how she would have to keep the use of jutsu down and not sure her Byakugan which was going to be really hard for her as it was something she used so often and the use of different jutsu to help her increase her abilities which felt a little off, but after thinking about it Nisha thought it was likely to test the actual abilities of those who are being tested and not due to some jutsu they are learned.
Nisha taking the shoulder of the ninja that was in front of her they were enveloped in mist and moved a little to confuse them of the location of the people around them as the mist slowly grew thicker and thicker, after the ninja with her handed her a set of kunai and pointed out the general direction that she should head to reach the other side of the island, before disappearing into the mist. Nisha took a few deep breaths to calm her nerves, orienting herself and checking the surrounding mist which seemed to be so thick if was hard to see more then a few meters before it was totally blocked from view as Nisha begin her first few steps.

As Haikyo peered through the trees of the island, he felt his hair rise on the back of his neck. He was not intelligent enough to see through the fog generators, this was entirely true. But he had an animal instinct that guided him--a second sense that allowed him to really hone in on his surroundings...and he could feel the souls of the other contestants on the island. Suddenly he stopped dead in his tracks. There were two loud explosions one after the other. What the hell was going on here? He breathed deeply and he tried to reason it all out. The explosions had not been all too far away...certainly close enough to venture into. They said you could eliminate your enemies by striking them ten times...he only had ten kunai...perhaps it was a bad idea to make enemies.
However, as the explosions echoed off of the trees and faded, the fog, too, began to greatly dissipate. Suddenly the forests around him felt clearer and he smiled to himself as he reached out to the trees. His soul wrapping around the bark of two nearby pines. They showed him the destroyed generators--the knowledge of the forest breathing itself into his mind. The fog spewed from these machines, but it would seem they had been damaged. Not all of them perhaps--fog still hung over the island. But Haikyo knew what his mission was--get to the other side of the island without being 'killed' by another contestant. Someone else was taking out the foggers...so, hell. It was time for him to get moving.
He broke his connections to the trees and he took a deep breath as he began to move through the forest--each step he took pushed him faster and faster through the trees--but he made sure that while he moved, he made as little noise as possible. If he could, he wanted to rush through this island now that it was a little clearer. Let the others clean the mess up and take advantage of it. Perhaps not an honorable approach...but one that could work, none the less. The trees flashed by as he ran, is foot kicking off of the trunks of the trees as he bounced between them. If he ran on the ground, perhaps he would leave obvious footprints to follow and track him. He could not afford to be eliminated in this event.
A few minutes into the exam, the fog began to lift. It now only obscured a small portion and each contestant would be able to see dark shadows moving in the distance, only slightly hidden in the mist that still hung like a thin sheet over the island. Someone must have disabled the fog generators.

Due to her take longer before setting off Nisha had not heard the sounds of the machines being broken, an as such Nisha pushed forward into the mist dragging her feet slightly in the dirt behind her in order to leave a trail so if she loop around on herself she would be able to return along her path a little easier.
As she made it further towards the other side of the island Nisha had noticed the mist letting up even more as the lack of the fog machines become more and more noticeable, stopping every so often after walking though the wooded area she would check the area and try to ensure she wasn't walking in circle due to confusion within this mist.

It was with a lazy flick of the wrist that drew and flung out another kunai in the direction of the last generator. A satisfied grin crossed his features the sound of an explosion reached his ears. With that the last of the fog would soon lift, as it were he could already make out various shadows making their way across the island. Checking the remaining kunai in his possession, Sai launched himself into a swift sprint towards his goal.

Nisha pushed forward deeper into the wooded area hear the odd crackle and snap from the woods from time to time as she made her way further most of which were her laying her own path by breaking brunches and turning the trail she was moving forward, as she was moving though the woods the fog slowly began to fade as the last of the fog generators had been destroyed and made it easier to progress to the other side of the island.

Keeping his wits about him, Sai continued to travel through the island. It wouldn't be much longer now before he reached his destination.
Haikyo heard the last explosion rock through the island and he was sure that the last of the fog generating machines he had seen through the images of the trees. Within minutes this island would be lain completely bare, and he would be able to see everything...everyone would. He would make as much of a push toward that final goal as he could. He was still bouncing between the trees--keeping high in the canopy where visibility would be much lower as he moved. At the very least, if he were going to be hit by someone, it would have to be someone damned observant. He saw the other contestants moving below him, here and there, but he did not interfere. There was no point...not right now. He needed to get to the other side of the island. It looked like it had turned into some sort of footrace, and he was one of the fastest people he had the honor of knowing...so he had to win, dammit.
His foot blasted him off of a tree trunk once again, launching him ever closer toward the other side of the island.
Nisha check the trail that she had been leaving ensuring that she hadn't lost her position within the wood, while the mist had been blanketing the area, she took a deep breath when she saw it and noticed she had looped back on herself yet and resolved herself to press forward even more, with the fog gone Nisha was able to leave a much longer trail Nisha could push forward with a renewed pace.
Haikyo smirked to himself as he bounded through the canopy of the island trees. It seemed that the others had all opted to avoid confrontation during a mission that did not demand it. They focused on their goals to move to the other side of the island, prioritizing the completion of the objective over the unnecessary conflict that was offered to them. He smirked as he kicked off of the last tree, flying through the clearing and landing on the shore of the island once more.

Sai strolled onto the sandy beach of the island shortly after Haikyo, a nonchalant shrug all he had to offer as he came to stand beside the boy. "Had any trouble?"
