History:
As a frost-fairy, Periwinkle had been secluded from her twin sister, Tinkerbell for most of her early life. When Peri and Tink met, their wings would glow- which symbolized their sisterhood and helped them realize that they were both born from the same laugh.
Once they started spending time together, they tried to convince Queen Clarion that warm and cold weather fairies could live in harmony. However, doing this involved a machine that used ice to keep Peri cold during her warm-weather adventures. Once the ice ran out, she was exposed to the heat- Nearly harming her wings.
As a result, The Queen refused to let Peri and Tink see eachother and the Ice machine was thrown into the ice river at the border. The machine picked up the ice and created a snowstorm- which threatened the pixie dust tree.
Tink realized that the frost Peri made kept plant, such as flowers, alive. Therefore, she rushed to tell Peri and warn the frost fairies about the threat to the tree. Once the tree was saved, Tink revealed her wings broke while she was rushing to warn Peri. However, since Peri had the same wing pattern, she was able to help mend Tink's wings.
And Queen Clarion mentioned Tink's wings only broke since they tried keeping the sisters apart. As a result, she stated that visiting the winter woods was no longer against the rules. And that the frost could also protect a warm-fairy's wings- preventing them from breaking in cold weather and allowing Tink and Peri to see eachother regularly.

Her selflessness can lead to trust in others who do not deserve to be trusted. Really hot weather also makes her very tired and lazy. When it's hot, all she'll want to do is sit on the floor next to every fan in the house. As a fairy, when she doesn't have enough fairy dust, she cannot fly without it.
Strengths:
Her skill in making intricate snowflakes and ice crystals makes her very creative and artistic. Her determined, persistent attitude also makes her prone to be more successful in certain endeavors. Even if it takes a few tries.
