If there was one thing Katori loved the most about being in Zena it would be the snow. Out of all the other countries that her mama and papa had told her about it seemed that only Zena got the really beautiful weather. Even if others called it cold and bitter weather she enjoyed how the snow seemingly sparkled on sunlit days and how the ice seemed to cast rainbows into the skies. Other than that you could also make things from the snow! She really enjoyed making snow raptrixes, snow mammu, snow people, snow chiavi....well snow anything really!

It was even more fun when she could build a small fort like she had today that was also stocked with snowballs for in case her brother came around looking for her. But that was only if the eleven year old still had the interest in firing snowballs by the time she did see him. Truly it all simply depended upon her present mood or if Taaru had something interesting to do instead of firing snow at his face.

Katori cackled quietly as her target came into sight. From her perspective she could see his arm was propped upwards in a strange manner and that there was something in his hands. Thought he could sneak something in on me, huh? The girl grinned evilly before reaching down for a handful of packed snow, We'll see about that.

With that decided the girl pulled back her arm and with all of her might threw the first snowball of the war through the air towards her brother.

Aha! Target locked and destroyed! Katori wiggled in triumph before noticing that her brother had fully recovered and also retaliated. "Eep!" Letting out a squeak the girl found her forehead dusted in an explosion of snow. "Oh!" Shaking her head quickly Katori pursed her lips in determination, "My turn." Grabbing two snowballs, one for each hand, the girl did one blind throw before using the cover of the first to try and locate her target better and throw the second attack towards his chest.

"Hehehe!" Katori cackled from her fort as her brother took both snowballs to the back. Preferably she would have liked to see them smack into his face, but she had to take what she could get. What she wasn't expecting was how quickly that slingshot could fire all of those snowballs at her. Letting out an 'eep' the girl dove and covered her face as the snow began to pile up on her.

Oh, that little! Biting the inside of her cheek thoughtfully the youngling settled on grabbing an armful of snow and sneaking around the side of her fort. As soon as she lost her cover and saw her brother the hybrid began running full force towards him with the armload of snow. Talk about a cold hug coming his way!

Giggling like a madwoman Katori rolled over with her brother into the snows. An explosion of snow surrounded them in a shower of white as she tumbled with him through the yard. "Gotcha, gotcha!" She laughed some more before attempting to let go so that she could lay on her back in the snow. Fighting like this was always so tiring!

Katori grinned as her victory was proclaimed, "I'll take it!" She cheered with a giggle before stopping at his next question, "Ummm..." The child pursed her lips thoughtfully while tilting her head left and then right as if to bounce around ideas. They could do this one thing...or maybe the other...hrm. Katori shrugged her shoulders, "I dunno I was havin' fun pelting your face with the snow. Should we build something now then?" Her gaze widened at the sudden thought, "Snow mamu?"

Katori laughed and nodded her head, "Sure, sure!" Of course Taaru would want to drag Gammu into this. Not that she minded as long as he wasn't about to challenge her to another riding contest! Mimei was still a bit sickly after all and couldn't leave her pen just yet.

"Get him out already so we can pose him! Do you think he'll stand on just his back legs or do a flip?" Teased Katori lightly though she was curious to see about what Taaru would do about posing his familiar.

"If you say so." Katori couldn't help giggling at how the mamu was posed. It was amazing how Gammu always went with Taaru's antics. Katori didn't know how her brother got so many animals to listen to him, but she was slightly jealous...though it was okay as long as they played with both her and Taaru.

"Hurry, hurry before Gammu gets tired of posing." She teased lightly before going over to push a rolling ball of snow towards Taaru. Rollin, rollin, rolling~ She continued to push the lumpy shape mound of snow until it got a longer shape going...
