As a human, Zephyr has light blue hair and gray eyes. He usually wears a beanie to hide his unique hair color to humans so he doesn't reveal his true identity.
Merman Form:
As a Merman, Zephyr's hair and eye color are slightly darker. However, it could be caused by the hue of the water. This proves useful when trying to hide from predators such as sharks. He also has a matching blue tail with iridescent scales.

Zephyr likes warm days at sea where he can relax and be himself. He likes to explore areas unknown or forbidden to merfolk such as shipwrecks, caves, and abandoned reefs. He also enjoys enriching stories of adventure, history and conquest. He appreciates music and prefers laid-back swing and jazzy tunes.
Dislikes:
Zephyr dislikes people who do not take responsibility for their mistakes. Being open and carefree also means being honest. He hates when people lie. As a Tropical Mermaid, most eat organic foods such as vegetables, kelp, and certain types of fish. Therefore, Zephyr will not eat anything that is too processed or "Fake". However, he will occasionally eat sweets such as chocolate or mints. As a human, Zephyr tries to hide his identity in public places so no one will know who he really is. As a result, he dislikes places with large concentrations of people and it's even harder to talk to some due to his introvertedness.

Personality:
Zephyr is carefree and go-with-the-flow due to his uprising as middle-class merfolk. He is also adventurous, and is curious about the world around him and beyond the sea. His carefree attitude makes him open, agreeable, and approachable even though he is introverted. While friendly, he is also very observant and would rather observe a situation than be a part of it. This is because he cannot play an instrument or make music, but he still appriciates it. His favorite type of music is Swing, Jazz, and the blues.
History:
Zephyr lived most of his childhood alone from other merpeople. When he was born, his mother died from childbirth and spent most of his childhood alongside his father as an only child. He wasn’t very popular in school, but his interest in adventure and other culture allowed him to be open to most topics. Which made him open, agreeable, and trusting & landed him many friends with most fish in secluded reefs.
As a child, Zephyr loved reading books about adventure and conquest. This led to his interest in history and culture. He also became very adventurous and curious about the world around him. He loved learning history during the school day and exploring reefs by night. Due to his interest in exploring, he has also become bilingual in languages exclusive to certain types of fish. One day, he saw a shipwreck and decided to enter through a broken window. The shards of glass cut his right shoulder, leaving a permanent scar.
While exploring he found human books, and realized both humans and merfolk had similar languages. As a result, he became very curious about humans and how they acted. His favorite book being Robin hood, A tale of adventure and heroism. From that day, he questioned Triton’s beliefs about humans being barbaric and kept the book to remind him that there was a world beyond the sea.
Weaknesses:
Introvert, Overly-curious, Very silent (listens more than he speaks)
Due to his introvertedness, he is very silent and shy around strangers and once they approach Zephyr they may find him rude for his silence.
Since Zephyr is adventurous, he is also very curious which can lead to trouble. His curiousness led to his injury on his right shoulder when he went exploring an abandoned shipwreck.
Strengths:
