Description
___There are tales of humans with supernatural powers, possibly gifts of curses from the gods, dating all the way back through the ages. This is because that at some point in their history there was a Fae creature which bred with their ancestors. Their Fae heritage was not passed on and the offspring were perceived as human; however there were powers that were passed down and activated under the right timing and circumstances. The descendants of these unions are humans known as Psychics. Physically they are still the same as any other humans; it's just that have a certain supernatural talent that sets them apart from those around them. Psychics only manifest one power. Through practice their supernatural ability can be strengthened. However, if they are ever turned into another species (unlikely as most never survive the transition) then they lose their original supernatural power. Historically psychics have been hunted down or at least isolated by normal humans for their unique gift - often as Witches.
Status
___ Uncommon. The fae isolated themselves more than a two thousand years ago and are or are nearly on the brink of extinction. Thus as the years go on the bloodlines have thinned. Now a days the only time a psychic is awakened is when they were born on a supernatural point of power (such as a nemeton) or grew up in the vicinity. Not all who are descendants of the Fae, even under these conditions, develop supernatural powers.
Supernatural Descrption
___Physically - With such little Fae blood in their veins, Psychics are physically human. They have all the same physical strengths and weakness as a human being.
___Supernatural powers - The following are the known list of abilities which have been documented from around the world: Telepathy, Telekinesis, Precognition, Retrocognition, Vitakinesis, Astral Projection, Dream manipulation, and Empathic Manipulation. Psychics do not manefest all of these powers; they only develop one power in their life time.
