Carter dropped from up above and rolled before hopping up to her feet. She saw a catgirl who she thought looked familiar. She tossed her one of the rolls she had snagged from a vendor, chewing on another one with her other hand. "Catch and don't let the City Guard catch ya."
Carter passed the catgirl and kept walking.

Carter slipped by a bus and hopped up to a fire escape. She went to the top of the building and watched the streets below her while polishing off the bread roll she was eating. Carter watched as the hustle and bustle below her was normal. Or, as normal as the city could get. Her quiver sat comfortably at her side. She let her feet dangle off the roof.
A few moments passed and she spotted the police running. She smirked, knowing they wouldn't find her. She followed a slight, visible path in the crowd to see the girl following her. Carter swore under her breath. She grabbed the drain pipe of the gutters and slid down like a fire pole. She ran towards the crowd and leapt into a passing bus. As the girl passed by the girl, she grabbed her by the collar and pulled her in the bus. "Ho there, lady. Fuzz-err-Police on your tail. Stick with me."


(OOC: XD My bad.)

She took a seat nearest the front and closed her eyes. "Simple mistake. Just thought you were one of my miscreant crew."
Carter opened one eye and smiled. "My bad about dragging you into this situation. Meow~!"


(OOC: )

Run a band of thieves? Pfft." She shook her head. "They call me their leader but, trust me, I'm more like their mom or older sister. We all do what we have to to survive."
Carter caught the roll and tore a piece off of it. "Mistook you for one of 'em. Sure you don't want any of this sweet roll? Swiped it fresh from the oven. I was going to share it with the boys but I saw you and... Well... You just looked hungry. Spaced out and all."

Carter sucked all of the sweetness off of her fingers as she finished her sweet roll. Then she stretched. "Besides get them outta trouble, I go back and forth from the forest and here. Plus, I'm not exactly good with people." She dried her fingers on her skirt before placing a finger to her cheek. "Um, well... I hunt for food, bring the meat in town to sell, and make medicines. That's how I survive. Well, I do occasionally have to pickpocket but that's for more Vigilante type stuff."

"Taunting the police is always fun but I'm sure you're not up for that." Carter stood up as the bus began to turn. She walked to the bus' opening and stopped with her hand on the railing. She looked at the girl and winked. "But, yeah. I actually have a few more sales to make, if you want to tag along."


(OOC: Alright. I gotta get to bed.)

Carter held her hand out to her. "I think we'll get along just fine. I'm Carter, by the way."
Carter looked at her, interested in her. She seemed a lot different than the people she had ever met.
