There was only one way to describe what had happened so far, cyclone. It was like he was trapped, spinning around and around. Mind not able to focus on one particular thing since there had been so much happening. So many new things to take in, see, touch! It was a little overwhelming but at the same time...such a damn thrill.
Tweet was grinning like an idiot while descending the stairs, this place, the cove as Harper had called it. This was were his weapon was, it was a little spooky but not going to stop him. When the last step was taken the room was looked over, small, dark, nothing special? Tweet couldn't help but feel a little disappointed by it, how couldn't he, after waking up in that science fiction world above?
The torch against one side of the room was noticed and gravitated towards. Getting closer the wall was blinked at in confusion, it wasn't really a wall? It was just a bunch of stone tablets, weird. Tweet leaned in closer, inspecting the unique rune on the stones, noting the different weapon shapes on them. Ever curious a hand moved out to touch one, when fingertips came into contact with the rune he heard a soft humming.
"Hello?" The teen snapped his head around, looking for the source of the sound. But he was alone, at least for as far as he could see. So, so where was that coming from? The humming got louder, sounded more annoyed then a yawn followed. It was as if someone, or something was waking up. "...I'm-" He was at a loss for what to do, so, why not introduce himself? But before he could his words were cut off by a sweet sounding female voice.
"Artemis..." Her voice was like chocolate, smooth and beautiful.
Artemis nodded as if the voice could see him, perhaps it could, he wasn't discounting anything at this point. "That's right..and who are you..?" Artemis sounded more curious than anything, and he was, but he was also excited and maybe a touch scared.
"Rivia.." With the name a loud humming started up, it seemed to be coming from a different tablet. Artemis turned to look over the stone, his hands putting down the one they held in favor of it. What was going on? As soon as skin made connection his heart jumped. It was insane, delightful, to be able to feel his own heart beat jumping so erratically before everything went still. Though he wasn't entirely sure that was his heartbeat or..the tablet pulsing.
A step back from the wall with the tablet and Artemis had to brace himself or nearly fall over. The stone materialized into a long handled double sickle. "Heaaavy.." The teen complained as his arms sagged and the weapon met the floor. A chuckle sounded in head before the woman's voice sounded again, "...we will make you stronger." We? Artemis was about to question but the woman read his mind, "yes we...I am your weapon, the very one you hold in hand. I am Rivia. I will be with you until the day you take your last breath." That was beautifully grim, Artemis winced softly, "I see..we'll then I'll try to take my time dying so we can get to know one another..." This time the weapons laughter was softer, kinder than the mocking laughter at his own lack of strength.
"I hope so.."
"Also...call me Tweet...because being together forever already makes us friends." The teen grinned and went to try and lift the weapon properly. Rivia remained silent in mind though as he went back for the stairs. This was the start of his new life and it was already ten times better than what he had left behind.
