Entry: There was a brightly colored Stallion standing next to a table. On the table were various empty bottles of drink, but more importantly a deck of cards, and a lone top hat. The stallion grinned, tapping a hoof on the table. Within the hat... two long, white ears peeked out upon hearing the tapping outside.
"Come on now, don't be shy Houdini. There are guests!"
With the words of encouragement, a brightly colored rabbit shot out of the hat. It stood on the table, nose wriggling, waiting for a command. The horse gathered his deck of cards, spreading them out in a fan towards the rabbit, and to the guests watching on.
"Now then, dearies. My name is Haruk, and today my little friend and I are going to show you a card trick! First, let me prove that none of these cards are duplicates."
He displayed the fanned cards to the guests once more, making sure each one was as visible as possible.
"See? A normal, full deck of cards. Nothing fishy here. Come Houdini, come. Pick a card. Any card!"
The small rabbit hopped closer to Haruk, quickly grabbing a single card with his teeth.
"Oh! The 3 of hearts? Not bad... why don't you show the card to our guests?"
The rabbit turned to face everyone, clearly showing the card to anyone close enough to see. He then proceeded to give the card back to the stallion, carefully making sure not to mangle the card in any way. Haruk calmly took the card, placed it at the bottom, then proceeded to shuffle the deck.
"Now then.. a shuffle here.. a shuffle there... Ah, is this the card? It is!"
The 3 of hearts was handed to the small rabbit, who proceeded to hop off the table, running away with it. As the stallion attempted to catch his faithful assistant, several cards fell out of his shirt pockets. He paused, eyed the cards, sighed, and took a bow.
"Well, you win some, you lose some. Besides.. great liars are usually great magicians!" He quickly shuffled out of the spotlight, proceeded to chase after the rabbit again.
Preferences: Blazikin, Turtwig, (Would like to opt out of Wartortle if allowed, if not allowed, then it's my third choice!)
