Vash is young and brash and desperate for attention, while simultaneously trying desperately to appear tough, like he doesn’t give a s**t about anything around him. He adopts a cooler-than-though attitude and a resting b***h face that, much of the time, seems casual and thoughtless – but when complimented or treated to any kind of affection or approval, he has a tendency to clam up, to get flustered, embarrassed, and inordinately pleased.
Septimus is serious, ponderous, morose. He has absolutely no sense of humor, but a great sense of drama and tragedy.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
At eighteen years old, Vash is just aging out of the foster care system – something that hasn’t treated him exactly well, but which has put a roof over his head and clothes on his back. Academically weakness means that college isn't much of an option, and he’s not really interested in sliding into retail or fast food service. Combined with a creative mind and an outsider personality, Deus is an excellent opportunity for something more interesting to do with his life.
