Physical Description: Xibora's skin is medium brown, and her eyes are the same as her mother's: a light honey brown. Her hair is black and she keeps the top half pinned back from her eyes while the back half is left free. She's starting to care about what she wears and tends to like what her mother wears which is usually formfitting. Like her older brother Jarah she prefers to wear black though unlike her brother she doesn't care about the heat. Outside of black, her favorite color to wear is purple.
Personality: Stubborn to a fault, Xibora always wants to do things her way. A lot of the time, she finds that her way is not the easiest way, or even the right way. And that's okay! She treats these instances like learning experiences and moves on without worrying about having done something wrong. She walks through life confidently and doesn't have a problem making friends or even making enemies. It's (embarrassingly) easy to upset her or make her angry and she tends to lash out when she's angry. When she was younger, she would hit her older siblings or friends when they made her angry but she quickly learned that that was not okay. Now she is able to keep her fists to herself, but there are times when she needs to let it out and ends up bloodying her knuckles on the walls of her room or trees. If she can make it to a quiet section of the beach, she'll even punch sand.
Xibora is eager to learn as much as she can, and dragons have always been the highlight of her life. She adores her mother's green as well as any other dragon she has the fortune to come across. Now that she's fourteen, she's excited to begin training as a candidate and will do her very best to imprint everything to memory. When it comes to her possessions, Xibora iis very selfish. She doesn't like to share. This probably comes from being the baby of her family for seven turns before Adelly came alone and Xibora was made to share with her. She doesn't resent her sister for this, but if there's an item or toy special to her she will hoard it so Adelly can't get her hands on it. In terms of people, Xibora is free with her love and affection as far as friends go and while jealousy may rear it's ugly head every once in a while, she is generally not as selfish with her friends as she is with her things. Impulsivity has always been a rather large problem for her and has gotten her in trouble more than a few times. She doesn't always think before she speaks or acts and it's had a lot of repercussions. She's trying to be better, but it's hard for her.

History: She's never known her father but if you ask her she'll say she never noticed the lack, either. She was born the third child of a green rider and grew up around her mother's dragon. Anath always fascinated her and the green was happy to keep the child occupied when she had free time. Xibora has been looking forward to being a candidate for as long as she can remember. She's never wanted to be anything else, or learn anything else. If she Impresses, this could be a good thing for her. If not...well, she has sixteen turns worth of hatchings to try! When she's not underfoot with her mother and Anath (and any other dragon/rider pair that doesn't mind having her around) she's swimming or running along the beach. Thread's return had only strengthened Xibora's resolve to become a candidate. She wants to be a fighter like her mom, like her eldest brother hopes to be. She wants to protect her home and Pern.
Recently, her eldest brother's father sent his son Jacel to live with them as he felt he was no longer able to care for the boy. Xibora's mother Vanaryn took him in and now Xibora has an annoying brat for a little brother.
