Today was a day for adventure!! The young jadeblood had tried to be insistent on going to a larger city during the day to wreak some havoc, but Mother was having none of that. As their back and forth went on into the early rays of the morning, the overly eager young boy's lusus finally met him in the middle by allowing them to venture to Busthind. It wasn't quite a city, so hopefully Meechi couldn't cause too much trouble, but there was still a high enough population that the little rabble rouser could break a few mailboxes.
That of course was exactly what the young troll was doing as he raced up and down the dusty mountain streets. Eyes peeled for any hives displaying massive royalist decor or banners. He would take his little toy wooden shield and bash at their mailbox until it was effectively useless, with a triumphant
"Take that!!" At least he was lucky enough to have daylight as a more metaphorical shield.
Mother tailed behind him, shaking her head disapprovingly, wishing he were more in one of his moods to explore the desert. Luckily for the stressed out lusus, her keen skills of observations keyed in on a little cafe, that peculiarly still had some lights on and an open sign?
Sweetie, she cooed, lowering his shield right before he was about to strike again with one of her insectoid legs, and pointing to the shop front with the other.
a shop seems to still be operating while the sun is high in the sky.Normally Meechi wouldn't give a sewerbeasts behind about some shop, but operating in daylight? No...it couldn't be...
"Let's check it out Mother!" The all too relieved lusus followed her exuberant charge as he barreled up to the cafe and through the door, making sure there were no traps set and giving Mother the all clear to follow him in.
"HELLO!?" He called out with cupped hands. The virgin mothergrub placing a claw over her mouth to remind him to use his inside voice.
