Personality: Maylee is seen as a very cold woman, but usually she is just wrapped up in her work. Her mind is always thinking, so she might not listen to others, which makes her seem uninterested. In reality, Maylee is very kind once you get her away from her work. She does have a hard time when it comes to emotions, mainly she is oblivious.
Fears: Not finding the solution to a problem.
Backstory: From the moment Maylee was born everyone told her she was special. She never really understood why. Once she was 2 she was talking, and by 4 she was reading 2nd grade books. To her, this was normal, but for other children her age this was weird. Her mother told her that she was special, that Maylee was an Indigo child.
By the time Maylee was 12 she was a senior in high school. No friends, no one to talk to, she was all alone. Other students called her names like "freak" and "loser" and "monster". Maylee tried not to care, she knew she was smarter then all the kids in her school. However when your a young pubescent girl surrounded by mean girls, its hard to love yourself. Look at these dumb asses, they are nothing. she would tell herself every day after school in the mirror, wiping away her tears. By her 16th birthday Maylee had a PhD in science, and was classified as a Biologist IV and a Epidemiologist. The money was great, but the work bored her. She began to look into different diseases, and in her free time she would begin to try to find cures.
She survived the apocalypse, but what was the reasoning behind the apocalypse? Why did it happen, was there a way to fix it? Maylee began to search for answers after the Ravens hired her as the lead researcher, and for the first time in her life, Maylee was at a stand still.
Goal: Find the reasoning behind the apocalypse.
