She wasn't out very often. Not... as Themiscyra. She was trying to get back into it, and there was no denying the rush of adrenaline when she focused on Themiscyra, and Danika faded away, replaced with leather, metal. Armor, crystal, chains. Strength beyond what she possessed--even with all her time in the gym, even with her training and trying to make Danika better. Themiscyra was a league of her own in comparison.
The flat sandals hit the streets, and the power boost of a Squire propelled her up to the roofs with far less effort than it had when she'd first started being a knight. The rooftops were where she felt most comfortable as she patrolled. Able to see more of the city, able to scan the streets and move quickly. If she sensed a Chaos aura, it was far easier to move across the rooftops than to navigate the maze of alleyways, streets, and parks. What was even with the parks? They were her best youma hunting grounds, never mind the top spots to find agents, senshi, and other knights.
A few youma were tracked down and dusted, and Themiscyra... felt... well. Human. Sort of. Perhaps that was not the best term. There was still rage. And pain. And she still called numbers that got no answer, looked at photos that were best left in a shoebox in storage.
But she wasn't seeking Negaverse blood for the night. In part, perhaps, because no agent crossed her path. It was only youma, though, she paused, head tilted as she felt a flicker of... Order? Not uncommon of course, and she began to move towards it, again over the roofs, the heights of the buildings not bothering her nearly as much as it should have. A knight--a Squire, to be exact.
Themiscyra picked up her pace, a small smile gracing her lips as her golden chain clinked in its place at her side. The figure came into view after a few moments, a fluffy coat and cool tones that seemed almost at odds with the warmer summer night--and her own black, gold, and red colors. "Hey," she called, lifting a hand in greeting as she approached, figuring it was best to announce herself else risk startling someone off a rooftop again. "Isn't it a bit warm for a uniform like that?"
This from the knight who hated colder weather due to her own uniform.
