Nervous excitement rushed through Dongmei most of the day and had her nervously eating peaches as she eyed the time. It had been some time since she'd actually invited someone to come and see her family's bathhouse and she was excited! And worried.

This was the first time she'd brought home a male friend and something new to her. After her fourth peach of the day her father had pushed her outside of the kitchen with a laugh.

"If I leave you in here, Lotus, I'll have no more peaches!"

Thankfully it was close to time for Sachio to be arriving and she'd sulked her way outside to wait. Which worked out because she was due up to check on her beloved peach tree anyway. Hopefully her dads wouldn't get the wrong idea, which was her main concern.

She was way too busy to be thinking about boys, girls, or dating anyway.

Looking up from her growing tree at the sound of his voice, Dongmei immediately stood straight and waved back. She hoped she didn't look nervous, smiling as she moved to meet him.

"Not a problem! I'm always happy to show off the place~" She was proud of her family's business. "I really hope you like it."

And that her dads wouldn't embarrass her too much. "Let me just water my tree real quick and we can head in!" Racing from where she'd put herself at his side, she ran for the near by watering can that looked to be already filled before stopping beside the growing tree again.

Peering over her shoulder at him as she watered the tree, smiled a bit. She wasn't a gardener, per se, though she had been the one to pick a lot of the flowers they had these days in the garden. It as mostly her tree she took care of.

"It's a peach tree!" A proud smile. "I've been growing it all by myself. One day it'll stand tall next to the bathhouse and we'll use it's peaches for some of the snacks dad makes!"

Setting the watering can, a metal thing that looked like a dragon, she moved to join him at his side so she could walk them to the bathhouse.

"I'm not a terribly great gardener, the tree is mostly the only thing I take care of right now. But I hope to learn to take care of more plants and maybe even grow my own fruit and veggies!" It would help some of the costs of the food, that was for sure.

"So, before we go in do you have any questions?" She'd be there to show the place off but once he went into the baths he was on his own. "I mean, you can totally ask questions while I show you around but."

"We have a little plot I can play with by my house, it's not big but it will do for now." Especially since there wasn't too much space between the house and the bathhouse. "But I want to get better before I try."

Or at least, maybe, succeed with her tree a bit more? That would be something.

"We do use some fruits from the flea market and such, no chemicals or nothing! Dad's kind of... specific on what he uses to cook after all. Which we totally sell snacks and drinks! So if you get hungry let me know."

This was all on her after all, which her dads were fine with.

"Actually it's all pretty straight forward! It kind of seems like a lot though." A laugh as she opened the door for him. "So don't worry, I can explain as we go."

In the door was a rather decent sized entry and lounge area, with the check in counter immediately in the front. To the far left was a door that lead outside while cloth covered doors could be found on either side of the counter. To the right seemed to be an area designated for children to hang out if they wanted. There were also some vending machines, a small display case of merchandise on the wall and a tiny window that led back to the kitchen.

"We do our best, that's for sure." Nodding at his thanks, she waited until he'd stepped in then followed after him.

"So this area is super straight forward. That's the check in counter, you pay there and get slippers and towels if you need them. They don't cost extra to use, but if you want to take them home then there's a charge. Behind the counter are the two doors that lead to the different bathing rooms, and the small counter in the wall is for ordering food."

Shuffling behind the desk to grab towel and slippers for him, she smiled up at her dad who, thankfully, just smiled back. She was sure to hear something from him later.

"The door off to the side there leads out to the hot spring, but it's open mostly at night." So it was off limits at the moment. Items in hand she moved to put herself back at Sachio's side and held them out to him.

"The entry way with the red curtain is the male's changing room and the one with the blue is the girl's. You'll find wooden benches to sit on and lockers to keep your stuff in. There'll be a door, kind of like the one that leads outside here that will take you to the baths."

There would also be a door in the bathing room that would take him outside.

"It's really not that bad, I'm sure you'll figure it out once your in there," she replied, giving a grin. Might be playing his ego a bit too."If you do have any questions though, my dad- Alejandro usually oversees the men's baths so he'll be there if you need him~"

"Either works for me, though food doesn't sound half bad. But we can figure it out more after you're done. Go and enjoy!"

A playful shooing motion as he turned to go and once he was gone she moved to head outside and check on the rest of the plants. If only so she could hide her blushing and escape her dads.

Having done all she could out with the plants, and having run home to wash her hands, she returned not long after Sachio had come out of the bath. She found him looking over the small case of goods to buy and quietly snuck up on him.

Putting herself at his side, she smiled some.

"So, how was it?" Stealthy ninja panda go.

Had he actually jumped she probably would have cackled like a mad woman, so perhaps it was a good thing he hadn't. As it was she might have been a bit puffed up in pride as she returned his smile.

"Me? Naw. I was off playing with my plants while you enjoyed the baths~" Hands disappeared behind her back and she rocked on her heels some. "But I'm glad you enjoyed it, just like I knew you would! I take it that means you'll come back again?"

She was sure it was a yes but it was best not to assume and get her hopes up.
