Backstory: Unknown to many, the charismatic Dean Lockhart was actually born under the name Cameron Buchannan to a young teenage couple. However, he was put up for adoption shortly after birth when his parents died in a car accident. He was quickly adopted, however, by the Lockhart family--a famous couple known throughout the world for their phenomenal acting. He wasn't the first one to be adopted by them, and he certainly wasn't the last, but the loved and cherished him nonetheless. He even had help in creating a small career as a child actor. However, he and his parents did not desire him to continue down the path of a movie star. He personally had many interests as a child--aviation, singing, baking, and finally floral design. He decided to follow a career path as a florist, using what money he made in acting to pay for schooling. It was actually in college when he decided to look into his birth parents' files, discovering their fate. That didn't stop him from contacting what remained of their family, including his biological aunt and uncles. With their acceptance of him into the family, he made the decision to set up his own floral shop in their hometown. Despite rediscovering ties with his biological family, he is still close to his adoptive parents. He visits them at least once a month, often with gifts.
