THE LOBBY: gaia_star MOBS: Roll 1d6. This is the AMOUNT of mobs you spawn. Each mob has 5HP for a CUMULATIVE HP pool of 5 times whatever dice roll amount you spawned. Every time a mob is defeated, they do -5 auto damage to you! If you need help in your RP, remember you can tag it as SOS. If you are a Y1 student, they only do -2 auto damage. gaia_star [ RARE BOSS SPAWN ]: If you are a final stage character, you can CHOOSE to spawn a rare boss. This is a shadow Horseman with a menacing figure at 60/60 HP and -5 HP damage a turn. Defeating it will ??? ??? (quote Zoobey). OOC

The lobby of the building was cavernous and immense, and Jordan thought that at some other time it might have been a bustling hub of activity. It wasn't real, and that awareness of unreality lay over everything he did like a haze. He didn't know why he was here. Of course, that didn't really mean anything. It had happened before, being thrown into strange situations with no knowledge of how he'd gotten there or how he could get back out; it would happen again, undoubtedly, as long as he survived this.
He didn't know what the voice had meant by referring to the cage, nor the significance of the statement you wanted to come here. Without any memory of why he was here, he couldn't know if that was true. What he did know was that he needed to escape, and to that end, he explored the empty spaces of the tower's lobby, the unattended desks and the column-lined walkway that led to a set of elevators. Shadows seemed to flicker and whisper in the corners of his eyes, though he couldn't seem to catch any of them straight on.
When a definite footstep sounded behind him, he spun, summoning in the same motion, trusting his instincts and his reflexes. He could pull the attack if it wasn't a threat. But it was. There was a horseman-shaped shadow lunging at him, and Ferros hit it at full speed. It barely scratched him before smoking away into nothing.
They would continue to be paranoid and alert, they agreed silently, and Jordan didn't desummon.

Behind the mirror is none other than Deus Island as it actually should have been. It confirms that you are trapped within this dream, as you look closer to the mirror. Examining it reveals it is just a mirror, and shattering it well-
- After a while it rebuilds itself. You are stuck here.
The mirror shifts. You can see, was that horsemen meandering the island? They seem to be destroying things, and you are stuck here, unable to save your home, unable to stop them.

On the wall beside the last elevator, a mirror hung, its frame heavy and spiked and black, and when Jordan looked into it, he saw not his own reflection, but an image of the island. Could he use it to escape? Probably not. Maybe. He put his left hand against the surface of the mirror and pushed experimentally, and met only cold, glassy resistance. Pressing against the surface did nothing, no matter how hard he pushed, and he felt a little stupid for persisting.
He stepped back, thought about it a moment, and swung Ferros into the mirror's surface. The mirror shattered satisfyingly, but nothing lay behind it, no doorway back to the world as it should be. "********," he muttered. That was not the answer, and maybe he'd destroyed the way back. No - the shards were shifting on the floor around him, gathering and lifting back into the frame of their own accord. The mirror rebuilt itself, as though he'd never broken it. That was both frustrating and a relief.
The scene within the mirror shifted as he looked again, and he growled with frustration as he saw horsemen wandering the island, idly destroying things. He couldn't get to them, if this were a reflection of reality. He would have to explore further, and find a way out, and hope that his home would be reasonably intact when he could return to it.
It occurred to him to wonder whether the horsemen had been suddenly dumped out of their own space into the island, as he found himself displaced here. He banished that thought as soon as it occurred. He couldn't afford to feel sympathy for creatures that would try to kill him on sight.

Something alerted Jordan, a sound, an echo, perhaps a flicker of motion in the corner of his eye, and he turned to find a considerably more substantial figure facing him. It flared its wings, and the suggestion of a mouth in its shadowy face opened mockingly.
It lunged at the same time as he did.
HP: 60/70

This figure didn't dissipate as easily as the previous one had. It took a solid hit and continued to attack. Jordan gritted his teeth and swung Ferros again, mentally settling in for a longer battle.

Ferros's runes lit a steady, bright red, and they shared a moment of satisfaction before Jordan planted his feet and spun, bringing Ferros around in a punishing arc. The hammer's head burst into flame moments before he slammed into the shadowy figure in a powerful impact.

Melvin had been trying to find any clue how he could get back home and wandered the Tower, quietly avoiding any signs of trouble. That was until he saw a familiae weapon banished at a shadow much larger than the 3 he fought before.
"Jordan, is that you?" This was more asked to confirm that while it looked like Jordan, that didn't account for much.

As he approached, he fired again, not liking that maniacal smile the shadow had. Further back he spotted another mirror.

"It's me," Jordan confirmed as Melvin moved in to fire at the shadowy thing. He spared a glance at Melvin to see if his friend looked okay. "The usual me, even."
"The kind of mirror you see other places in but can't seem to get through?" He waited till Melvin had fired again and moved in to swing at the shadow.

He moved closer to help give Jordan some support against the shadow.
"Yeah. There is a mirror on another floor in a lake. When i broke it, it just rebuilt itself. Saw horsemen destroying Deus. Any idea how we got here?"

The shadow dissolved under their combined attacks, and Jordan relaxed slightly, but didn't desummon. "Yeah, I'm kind of relieved it's not just me in here." Given, of course, that he wasn't somehow imagining Melvin, but that was a dangerous road to start down. He would assume, for the sake of his sanity, that he was actually talking to Melvin. "That means it's some kind of shared reality, presumably created to contain us. I wonder who else is here. It'd be strange if it were just us." He shook his head. "I saw the same thing. I haven't got a clue how we got here. I heard a voice talking to me, saying something about a cage." zoobey we squished one but if there's not enough time left to do anything don't worry about it

Beating the shadows hadn't opened the way through the mirror, nor in fact it opened the way to anywhere. All there had been was a clone and the strong possibility of more. Moving from the conquest floor he headed elsewhere, moving downstairs.
He spotted people in the lobby and did not desummon his weapons, instead approaching the two figures with a cold and very intent look that only relaxed into a normal expression when he registered how normal and familiar Melvin looked.
"Oh I hope I'm not interrupting anything." he crooned.

"Freaky voice - yeah got that too. Crazy how I can't remember wgat even lead to us being here. If this is a cage then there had to be a opening that let us in in the first place we can try and get out of. I just hope we find it. I'm getting paranoid we are on kinda timer."
He turned Saliva on himself and fired, but the charge fizzled and nothing was fired. "Great."
Just then he heard an awfully familiar voice and turned to see Lawr headed their way. "I really hope you guys aren't just all in my head. I am glad to see you are alive which means there must be more hunters here then. Hopefully not all of us or the island is ******** ignored Lawr's tone. "We just fought a shadow. That's something."
