My little bundle of innocent joy in the nightmare that is Elmare. I was so looking forward to playing the corruption(?) of this character throughout the course of the rp. Sadly, it never happened.

Bear in mind, the corruption I had intended wasn't anything dramatic. In fact, it could be argued to be the exact opposite of drama. Young Bunny was simply going to grow up knowing of little else than the ways of the nightmare realm, so he'd come to be a very amiable fellow who saw killing as an everyday activity. No biggie.

Your Spirit stat will always determine how able you are in magic. The higher the number the more capable and experienced you are. M.Strength only determines the overall strength of the spell. Low M.Strength means your spells have less of an effect while higher means it has greater effect/damaging or opposite.

xxxDemon Features Rawr! So adorable!
xxxxxx▪ Pointed ears
xxxxxx▪ Blue horns and tail made out of what look like water but are hard like metal when touched.
xxxxxx▪ Wings of a flexible number made of the same material as the horns and tail can crystallize on Bunny's back at will. They do not physically touch his figure, but still give him flight like normal wings. When materialized, the wings look like a collection of ice crystals before they finish connecting to form dragon/demon wings.
xxxxxx▪ When touched, the horns, tail, and wing can range in temperature anywhere from fire hot to ice cold. Although, Bunny is usually oblivious to the extremes temperatures except when it's convenient and only to the level of it being convenient, such as staying warm in a freezer. When fighting (with other RPC's) this effect won't be passive, but be required as a Technique to be effective.

xxxPersonality "I don't get it, but I'm going to heal whoever needs treatment, okay?"
xxxxxx▪ Barnaby is a quiet but lively child. He doesn't talk much, but whenever he's let loose, he's bound to wander off to wherever he pleases and just about everywhere fits that description. He likes making new friends and expending the copious stores of energy that seem to naturally occur in every child. Hide and go seek, tag, king of the hill, whatever the game, he's eager to play. Although, his favorite remains to be soccer, which he's decent at simply because he plays so much but nothing that can be considered amazing. He'll settle when told, though, especially if it involves a story or teddy bears. A good mystery can entrance him for a long time. Although, he does tend to get quite talky when it comes to mysteries. He loves hearing them, but being only seven, he often has trouble grasping more of the complicated twists. He'd need to be a genius seven year old to accomplish that.
xxxxxx▪ Not to say that Barnaby is a dunce. In fact, he's quite bright, doing well in school and easily scoring high in his classes. Although, the only thing he regularly scores top of class in his is his reading level. His love of mysteries have conditioned him to be more literate than the average second grader.
Talking about play, Barnaby likes to surround himself with friends of all sorts. Age, gender, interests, health conditions, nothing matters to him and he's up for just about any game suggested. While he never takes the position of group leader, he also never takes the spot of outcast once the matters surrounding his looks and name are settled. He adapts quickly to whatever group he's with at the moment, not so much falling into peer pressure as simply riding it because why not.

xxxxxx▪ His most impressive trait is his adaptability. Very impressionable and with the ability to learn quickly, it never takes Barnaby long to consider even the most absurd situation commonplace. Luckily, up until Elmare, he's lived a normal life so the most disturbing moments exhibiting this absurd traits were his astounding ability to cope with the death at his mother's workplace and gore at his father's workplace. His impressionability is related to how he can act a bit like a child at times despite his normally mature way of handling situations. At the very least, he's ridiculously gullible when it comes to things he can't find evidence against and prone to asking questions, much like a kid is. He's fine with accepting simple explanations like, "It's just the way things are," and moving on with his life. Granted, he'd want to know more, but if it's all he's getting, he won't anguish over it.
xxxxxx▪ Although, he isn't so coarse and moral-less as to, say, accept a murder without any question. He isn't insane, after all. He's quite sane and will be appropriately shocked and horrified at stuff any sane person in his situation would be. It's just that he's more flexible in extreme situations. If his environments changes so extremely that rampaging insanity becomes an acceptable norm, he will accept meaningless murders. Granted, he probably wouldn't partake in it, but he won't have qualms against it. After all, nothing is insane about accepting social norms and admitting to changes that are needed to survive.
xxxxxx▪ By the way, his consideration of death and gore as completely normal have nothing to do with his fondness for horror and mystery stories (either together or separate). Mysteries and horror were just a simple hobby of his that he developed as a young child, much like how so many young kids grow to love super heroes.
xxxxxx▪ Having been raised in large part by his sister, though the parents certainly contributed their fair share as well, Barnaby understandably has a bit of a sister complex and adores his sister. With enough nagging, she has the power to get just about anything out of him. On a related note, he'll also cover for her regardless of the situation, even going so far as to take the blame for her if circumstances allow. In his eyes, nothing she does is wrong. Well, no, he knows that Catherine makes mistakes like any other human being. Rather, regardless of what his sister does or turns into, Barnaby will always be by her side supporting her.
xxxBiography The Calm, Before the Nightmare, Elmare.
xxxxxx▪ The children of an average Australian family living in the average Australian suburbs, Barnaby and Catherine led normal lives. Having busy parents, led to Catherine tentatively being in charge of Barnaby ever since he was a baby. It soon became obvious that it was one of the few things the ditzy red-head could be trusted to do responsibly and with all her attention. Thus, the two became nigh inseparable from Barnaby's birth, and Barnaby still calls his older sister "Cassie" (an unintentional nickname from back when Barnaby couldn't pronounce the "th" sound) to this day. At first, Barnaby adored Catherine just as much as Catherine spoiled Barnaby, even enduring the occasional must-see (according to Barnaby) horror-mystery for Barnaby's sake every now and then. Of course, in return, Barnaby had to follow Catherine during her occasional shopping sprees, helping carry the bags and even (insert copious amounts of shivering on Barnaby's part) letting his sister dress him up. Whenever her younger brother needed anything, Catherine was always there. Sometimes, she was there too much, like that one time at the aquarium's dolphin exhibit, where Catherine had held on tightly to Barnaby during the entire show for fear that she would fall into the water and drown just as their parents had jokingly warned (the family was sitting in the fifth row of seats). Other times, though, it was just right. Like when she stepped in whenever Barnaby was being bullied for his weird and bunny-like name. The interference was much to Catherin's brother's chagrin, but it was the right thing to do.
xxxxxx▪ Although, as Barnaby grew older, he began distancing himself from his sister, just like most younger brothers try to do. Even then, he never really broke out of the habit of calling his older sister, Cassie. He definitely did try to but it never worked out, what with Catherine's continued insistences to keep on calling her Cassie. On that note, Catherine also never let the distance grow too large even after she started going out on numerous dates with other boys. She would always pop in on Barnaby and his friends, often times to Barnaby's minor annoyance, and Barnaby would need to shove her away. Of course, that plan didn't always work because, after all, Catherine was the older sister (older sister powers activate). Of course, she continued to defend Barnaby from bullying, telling the bullies off and getting adult help, Catherine couldn't fight for her life, even after Barnaby's continued insistences that he could deal with them himself. Barnaby could never get so much as a punch off in retaliation because Catherine was either there or because he knew how much his sister would hate him for doing something so violent. He didn't want to cause Catherine to cry like the first time he had gotten into a fight with someone who teased his name and looks. For the most part, Barnaby learned to live with it. Not to mention, a part of him liked the attention he was receiving from his adored older sister.
xxxxxx▪ Physically, the two siblings resembled each other, with both sharing the same hair and eye color. Although, they were far from any sort of identical pairing. After all, while Barnaby looked girly, he could still sort of be distinguished as a boy. Not to mention, Barnaby's straight hair could clearly be distinguished from Catherine's wavy locks. Catherine's hair also looked much better. In fact, everything about her looked prettier, a testament to how much effort the elder sister put into her looks. Catherine had flawless skin, whereas Barnaby had a clearly visible scar on his leg from the one time he tripped while playing outside and gave himself a wound that required stitches (Catherine worried, fretted, and cried over the accident for days and only stopped when Barnaby started tearing up because Catherine was crying). Despite being a boy, though, Barnaby appeared as an absolute doll, mostly because he was still just a kid but also in part because he just looked downright feminine. It was this doll-like appearance that first enticed Catherine to dress Barnaby up and soon got her just about addicted to stuffing her little brother in whatever clothes she thought looked well. In fact, when Barnaby was younger and knew nothing about gender difference, Catherine got away with stuffing him into plenty of dresses. That, of course, quickly stopped after the toddler years. For the most part, Catherine's sense of fashion (another thing she could be trusted with) was spot-on, and Barnaby soon developed a closet full of dress-up clothes, some quite normal and others more suited for cosplay than anything.
xxxxxx▪ Barnaby's and Catherine's parents both worked in the medical field, the mother working as a human surgeon and the father working as a large animal veterinarian. Catherine never had anything to do with her parent's careers other than using the money they earned just as most other kids did. Barnaby, however, often attended her parent's work just because. It was one of the few things Barnaby could do without his sister's interference, which was probably what attracted him to the idea in the first place. Catherine could never stand the atmosphere of either of her parent's jobs. Besides, she would much rather be out with her dates. Barnaby, though, found their jobs interesting. At least, after getting past the initial discomfort, like seeing sickly people and animals everywhere, not to mention the copious amounts of blood present at some of the procedures. Of course, as he was just a kid, he could never get very close to any of the important stuff, especially for his mother's job. At the hospital, he normally settled with just wandering through the hallways and chatting with the more friendly patients. He was especially close to the kids, being a kid himself, and became close friends with several. Of course, not every kid going through the hospital makes it out alive, so from an early age, Barnaby had already experienced the death of more than one close friend and a good number of people who were at least acquaintances. Even as a kid he was very used to the concept of death and had learned how to accept the death of those he knew. The first few shocked him, of course, but he easily adapted to the thought and action. Attending his father's work didn't give Barnaby nearly as many philosophical thoughts. He did witness animal deaths while following his dad about, but they didn't create nearly as much of an impact, much like how watching plenty of horror movies doesn't necessarily make someone immune to being shocked at the sight of guts. Talking about guts, one thing Barnaby did gain from following his dad around was getting used to the sight of blood. Barnaby was allowed a bit more freedom in his dad's job and was allowed to watch his dad work on the animals, a sight that could turn bloody quickly. Sometimes, his dad would even work in a meat processing factory in order to fill for the veterinarian in charge of checking the animal guts for any abnormalities. Much like with death, Barnaby felt highly uncomfortable the first time he saw the organs strewn out before him. In fact, he had to rush out to puke. By the second time onwards, though, Barnaby had adjusted and could look at the guts without flinching and treated the entire butchering process as quite natural.
xxxBiography Down the Rabbit Hole, Enter the Nightmare, Elmare.
xxxxxx▪ Barnaby fell down the rabbit hole and into Elmare after dropping dead-tired into his bed and falling asleep like a rock. He certainly opened his eyes at the first shine of the intense light, but was too tired to do anything else but fall back to sleep. Because of that, he was one of the last, if not the very last, of his batch to leave the room. More importantly, he was also late to realizing that his body no longer was as he remembered it. He still looked the same to a certain extent. All the core parts, like his face, build, etc., remained as feminine as before. Overall, he still looked pretty normal, except for the horns and tail he had suddenly grown, and while his eyes had retained their unusual red, his hair color that he used to share with his sister had changed from a vivid scarlet to a colorless white. It was like he had become a white rabbit, except with blue horns and tail in place of white rabbit ears and puff. He had looked doll-like enough for a guy to begin with, and his transformation when descending into Elmare had only magnified that by giving him completely flawless skin. Even the scar he's had since he was little no longer existed, nor did any other mar on his body.
xxxxxx▪ With such a mind-twisting beginning, even Barnaby would need some time to adjust. He spent a few hours in the safety of his room, waiting for his sister to show up. He would have waited for a few days if he had access to any food, but he evidently didn't. During that time, he acquainted himself with his new body and whatever else he could find in the room. Like always, he quickly came to accept the changes even if he did have enough questions to fill a kangaroo's pouch. Once he ventured outside, even more surprises followed. He discovered his rather strange wings and, with them, the rather cool ability to fly. He also discovered the craziness of his new world. Yes, by the end of the day, Barnaby came to accept Elmare as the world he now resided in along with all the atrocities it contained. After all, he knew of no way out and it seemed similar enough to Earth, in his rather flexible opinion, once all the horror movie-esque stuff was ignored. While such a mindset certainly gives off the vibe of craziness, the insanely fast adaptation to Elmare has kept Barnaby as perhaps one of the sanest denizens of the nightmare realm.
