A transport specialist for a zombie apocalypse roleplay. If I remember correctly, the rp was specifically based off of the Resident Evil game series.

███████████████ P e r s o n a l

Archetype: Rich Kid

Personality:
.xxxx• Hobbyist
Soo-Jung isn't afraid to try and learn new things. This has worked incredibly favorably for her as her family's enormous income has given her the opportunity to dabble in many things. She's become a jack of all trades and master in the ones that really pique her interest.
.xxxx• Action Girl
Her already existing drive for action has only been spurred by the people around her telling her to act demurely like a proper eldest daughter and future wife to some notable businessman or politician. She fell in love with basketball because she could let loose while playing it and, often literally, was expected to aim for the highest point she could reach. Soo-Jung is a girl of action, her excitement only tempered by reasonable fear for the safety of her own person and her inescapable life as a spoiled rich girl who's never been truly expected to do anything.
.xxxx• Spoiled
Soo-Jung couldn't help it. She's been spoiled, and even what she thinks of as not spoiled is, in fact, being spoiled. She realizes this, however, so while she may appear demanding and prissy many times, she's easy to reason with. Like most people, though, new conditions and environments unsettle her, so while she may understand to not expect things, it will likely take much longer than others for her to become accustomed to hardships.
.xxxx• Patient
High society is annoying difficult to navigate safely, but Soo-Jung has learned anything from growing up within it, it's that patience is a very awarding virtue. Many times, striking the instant a grudge forms brings nothing but disaster. Soo-Jung might like action and fast-paced developments, but she knows better than to blindly rush in headfirst. Many times, however, she's too careful and tries to set up too many traps and backups and alternate routes and secondary objectives and etc. and etc..
.xxxx• Tolerant
There have been many, many times in Soo-Jung's life when her patience has been tested to the extreme and stretched thin but she was not allowed to break and go into a rage, lest she break some connection that had taken years for her family to forge. These trying times have given Soo-Jung an extremely high tolerance to unsatisfactory conditions. Not only is she good at not showing when she's irritated, she's also become harder to make angry in general. Her dislikes are moderate at best, with nothing extreme.

History: Once upon a time, Soo-Jung was hailed as the rising star of Korean basketball. Even in America, where she studied abroad, she garnered national attention among diehard basketball fans. Then she disappeared, or rather, she grew into her responsibilities and left the court behind. After all, Women's Basketball was not a suitable place for the eldest daughter of the family that owned Korea's biggest conglomerate. Returning to Korea for college, Soo-Jung attended the acclaimed Seoul University as an International Studies major. She spent her free time either getting familiar with her father's company and high society or performing charity work, which her mother considered a suitable project for a young lady.

Soo-Jung didn't mind attending to her duties, and even enjoyed helping others when doing charity, even when she traveled to third world countries to assist the people there. She was not so much a believer in the belief that it is the duty of the rich to give back to the poor so much as she thought it was just right to do the right thing. However, as much as she felt fulfilled from charity work, it wasn't really something that she could call a hobby. Associating with the politics of the rich was little more than a chore for Soo-Jung. Basketball would have been her preferred form of entertainment, but a sport like that was unbefitting for a rich girl and no one would want to play with her.

Although, even without basketball, Soo-Jung still have a whole host of other hobbies she could choose from. She had so much money at her disposal, and with that money, she dabbled in anything that caught her interest. It ended up in vehicles, something that gave her the rush she wanted without requiring accomplices. In addition to sports cars and racing tracks, Soo-Jung became a fan of boats of all kinds and personal planes. She acquired licenses for all manners of vehicles, including a few that she was only able to get thanks to her connections. It would be wrong, however, to equate her to all the other irresponsible rich kids with their trophy vehicles. Soo-Jung respected and admired her rides, and learned what she could do to get them to and keep them in top condition. She's usually forced to leave the actual work on the vehicles to professionals, but she sneaks in making adjustments and fixes on her own when she can and has read books upon books on practical knowledge about the vehicles. Considering the heavily computerized nature of most vehicles nowadays, Soo-Jung's extensive knowledge on vehicle maintenance is quite the impressive feat.

The other facets of Soo-Jung's life were what you'd expect from a rich daughter. She was educated by the best and was encouraged to experience only the finest but never allowed to forget the burden of her family's name and reputation. She was kidnapped a few times, and was taught basic self-defense in an attempt to keep her safe. It worked sometimes, but she was never great at it, so there were times when she ended up being kidnapped anyways. Multilingual and brilliant, if her parents and the Korean culture didn't believe so strongly in male inheritance, she would have been a strong competitor for being the heir of her father's conglomerate alongside her two younger brothers.

Just before the zombie outbreak, Soo-Jung had been providing aid in Africa with other aid workers. She had the chance to glimpse the very beginnings of the virus's spread right before being evacuated. She spent some time in Korea, and amid the chaos of the first news about the virus, she went to Japan as an exchange student from Seoul University with the claim that it would improve her fluency in the Japanese language, something she had already mastered years ago. When the virus spread to Korea, Soo-Jung was residing in Japan in relative safety. Her days are now filled with worry about the fate of the rest of her nuclear family. The last she heard, they were all safe in America, but that was months ago and she'd been unable to contact them since.

Since seeing zombies for the first time in Africa, Soo-Jung has been doing what she can to prepare for if and when the zombies make their way across the ocean and into Japan, but it's really too little, too late. She's got a basic understanding of how to shoot with guns and how to put forth the athletic abilities she gained from playing basketball towards maneuvering across various landscapes.

.xx► Books
A big reason for Soo-Jung's interest in different languages is books. There aren't many masterpieces written in Korean, and while many translations exist, Soo-Jung could let go of the chance to read the original. She believes that translations, while a good substitute, cannot truly portray the original as there are too many cultural and language differences to fully account for.
.xx► Languages
Soo-Jung is fluent in Korean, Chinese, English, Japanese, Indian, French, German, Italian, and Russian. She knows smattering of other languages and has even picked up a few words from the tribal languages of the tribes she worked with in Africa. She didn't just pick up all of these languages simply because they would be useful. She genuinely enjoys learning new languages.
.xx► Driving, Piloting, etc.
After quitting basketball, Soo-Jung was left without anything to sate her desire for excitement. She took up driving as a solo activity that would be suitable, if only marginally so, as the hobby of a rich girl. She never broke any laws, but she would enjoy high speed driving on rented race tracks. With her money, it wasn't long before Soo-Jung also learned how to control other vehicles, including several special ones she could only get her hands on through her family's connections. She likes to go fast, so of course she knows how to speed and maneuver in these vehicles. In addition to being a good driver, Soo-Jung also knows quite a bit about each type of vehicle she can control and can apply fixes to even the newer, more computerized models.
.xx► Basketball
It's been two years since Soo-Jung left the basketball scene, but her bodies still remembers a lot of what it's done on the court, even if lack of practice has made her rusty. Good thing she's expected to keep slim and fit because at least she's kept her body in shape. Back in her high school days, Soo-Jung was known for a surprisingly high jump that caught those who mocked her short height off guard. Once they got used to that, then they had to contend with her unpredictable passes, formless shots, and other tricks. Because of her comparatively small build, her basketball relied on mind tricks, hand tricks, and smarts. Her passion for basketball started in middle school on the streets of America with street ball.

Dislikes:
.xx► Selfish Pricks
As someone who gave up her own dreams and passion (namely, basketball), Soo-Jung is a firm believer in the merits of helping others and self-sacrifice to a certain extent. The more severe a situation, the more people need to band together and be willing to help others. Those who are unwilling to do that or, even worse, are willing to sacrifice others solely for their own self-benefit earn her ire.
.xx► Doing Nothing
Growing up in a busy household, it was ingrained in Soo-Jung from birth that time was money. Well, now that money holds no meaning, time is life. A moment wasted cannot be retrieved, so Soo-Jung doesn't like wasting those precious moments. It doesn't have to just be action and rushing in to save the day. Thinking, planning, and strategically waiting all count as useful ways to use time.
.xx► Squid, Octopus, and Shellfish
Unless she's starving, Soo-Jung will never willingly eat any of the above. If she has to, she swallows them as quickly as possible.
.xx► Traffic
GOD. TRAFFIC SUCKS. Soo-Jung hates traffic. It's a combination of doing nothing and boring that just makes her grit her teeth as she tries to remain calm and pleasant.

Other: Soo-Jung is just your average girl, the one that's completely unprepared for a zombie apocalypse until it started. She wasn't lucky enough to be interested in something that'd give her a direct and noticeable plus while up against zombies. Her survival will be dependent on the medley of unrelated skills she's gained over the course of just 20 years. Athletics, ingenuity, and driving skills are her only truly developed weapons alongside a handful of hastily learned skills. She is smart, however, and a much quicker learner than most.

Items:
.xx► Various operator licenses
These include standard car and motorcycle licenses in addition to heavy vehicle, construction vehicle, various aircraft, and various boat licenses among other things. If there is a vehicle and Soo-Jung has access to it, she can use it.
.xx► Monster Truck
A highly customized, high-end motorcycle. It can go fast very quickly, and doesn’t sacrifice durability or flexibility for it. Able to handle even the bumpiest off-road terrain, it should be able to ride through even streets filled with dead bodies and can handle jumps with amazing ease. Retrieval of the motorcycle is as easy as clicking a button on its electronic keys as the bike is able to self-navigate its way to whatever location the keys are at, even without GPS available. Built for Soo-Jung's small frame, the motorcycle is actually small enough to fit and even ride through most indoor areas.
