Joy had gone around looking for people she might have known before all this crazy shittery went down. So far, only Clyde had been someone familiar, a fellow Hunter who'd woken up to find himself a Horseman like Joy had.
The others, well, they were from Halloween. She should be counting her lucky stars that there had yet been an encounter with a real Horseman. Her wings (and they were awesome wings) had her soaring until she spotted someone like Rayu. Someone she supposedly shared a past with, "Tani?" she asked hesitantly as she landed near the "Conquest Horseman."

Tanita looked up, startled, when she hard the wings approaching. Oh no, she was going to have to talk to... Liya. Was that her real name? Tani had no idea, and didn't know who or what she was before this. Tani didn't know anyone here, she was sure. Unless somehow her poor family had gotten trapped in this. She really hoped that was not the case. Her mother would be in the mood to rampage right about now. "Liya... Hi." She said back, in an equally hesitant tone. She had no idea how to handle this situation. Was Liya an actual horseman? What if she got caught, marked an impostor? Or maybe Liya was a fellow student. The idea that hunters could be Horseman too had crossed her mind but somehow it seemed strange to imagine Liya a hunter. She'd been too happy as a horseman. Then again, if Tani's experience was anything to go by, that meant nothing. False!Tani's memories were screaming to Real!Tani that Liya was 100% trustable, a friend, after all.

Joy idly touched at her bandaged shoulder when Tani said her Horseman name. "It's... it's not Liya actually." she began, steeling herself for the possibility of a hostile reaction while hoping for a friendlier one. "And I bet you're not who you really are." Wow Joy, some kinduva kinda threatening much? she chided herself.

Tani winced a little, nervous at 'Liya's' words, and slowly shook her head. "While my name IS Tanita, I am not a horseman, no..." She paused, and leaned against the nearest wall, her eyes tracking the other person. "I.... I'm...." She paused, then said "I'd like to know what to call you, perhaps?" There, a neutral ground to start on, as 'Liya' now know that Tanita's real name IS Tanita.

After her encounter with Rayu and Candace, Joy was starting to feel a little bit less worried about the other supposed Horsemen. The way Tanita spoke, it wasn't too off from what her other-memories said of her, "Joy." It wasn't as if she could give her real name. Beyond legal government documents, no one ever called her by anything but Joy.
"And I'm not a horseman either. I'm not looking for a fight," she added in hopes of assuring the other that her intentions weren't hostile.

"Joy... It... it suits y..." She stopped, and frowned, a confused looking frown, the kind that reads 'CRAP WAIT that isn't right what do I do.' She bit her lip, thinking, then finally said "It suits the version of you the False Me has, if she is, in anyway, like you?"
At the words 'Not looking for a fight, Tani's physical tension was released. She was visibly calmer, and she looked Joy in the eyes. "I am a Student of Amityville... A fairly new one." Well that was complicated. She had technically been enrolled a good while but she'd been called away early in her first attempt at Year One, so she was practically starting over. She had no idea if anyone she'd met before was even still around.
