Chao narrowed her eyes as she spotted a reaper version of her self. Was it a horseman trick? What ever it was she was going to destroy the false copy. She wouldn't allow any fear creature to roam free, especially one that was pretending to be her.

She had been sick, a strange virus had infected her and many others, something to do with eyes and vines maybe. Her head was still fuzzy and aching but she pushed herself out of bed anyways. She needed to got off this island and find a way back to the academy.

As she ran something caught her eye, a shadow seemed to be twisting around. Turning to face it she saw that it WAS her, but as a hunter. She was going to have to fight it, the shadow was all ready determined to destroy her.

Cadence was to slow to doge the attack that the hunter version of her used and was frustrated that her own attack had mostly missed the shadow creature only causing a slight scratch.

Chao's scythe easily hit its mark against the fake fear version of herself, she was annoyed when the reaper manged to land a decent hit.

Cadence was having trouble dodging the other scythe, but at least she was hitting the shadow creature. The problem with using a scythe is its a longish ranged weapon, but that does little good against another weapon of the same length. She needed to work on using the blade of her scythe to block the other scythe.

The shadow version easily blocked Cadence's next attack with the blade of its scythe, when the shadow swung out their scythe in retaliation. Cadence manged to hook them with the small blade on the end of her scythe. It didn't do much but a hit was a hit.

Chao growled as she looked at the fake one. "You won't get away." She hissed chao was not going to let this fake version hurt anyone.

The two scythes clashed in the air, each blocking the other's swing. Cadence suddenly shoved the pole end of her's forward into the opponent instead of trying to force the blade forward. The miniature blades on the end of her scythe struck into her opponent and gave her time to doge without getting to injured in the process.

Cadence watched the shadow move and took the time to time her attack waiting for the other to being to strike before attacking. She manged to get a clear hit in and slice through the shadow creature. Removing her scythe from the corpse the reaper sat down and let out a relived sigh.
