Looking around despite her hurting head -maybe she was still sick after all- she wondered where she was. Or maybe this was another dream?

As she tried to leave she became even more aware of something following her. Nothing she could really see, more of a shadow she could glimpse from the corner of her eye. Wanting, needing to see it better she turned around and came face to face with... Herself-that's-not-herself.
There's something wrong with it, and it become more and more corporeal as the island fights to keep it's hold on this reality.
Feeling more and more trapped in a place she belong to the ghoul tries to leave only for the shadow to chase her. She feels like it's trying to capture her, and its will to replace her is tangible.
