Zere held his whip up towards the horned demon that approached him, gritting his teeth together.
The demon was dressed very nicely, prim and proper from his head to his toes, hair braided over his shoulders as he held himself in high regard.
Zere's eyes narrowed.
Pulling his whip tight, he unleashed it at the other, actually giving into the weapon's want for blood lust.
"A whip? Really?" The demon countered, rubbing his blue-skinned nose as he moved forward.

Lifting his hands, the demon created icicles from seemingly nothing, launching them right at Zere as Zere snapped at the other with his whip.
Pain lanced through his body as he gripped his whip, trying not to cry out in pain, but failing miserably as he sunk down to a knee.
The demon tilted his head, something swaying from his horns -- some kind of trinkets? -- as he moved forward, tail swaying from side to side.
"I'm not giving you my soul," Zere spat, attempting to stand up, feeling the ice shards pulse in his leg.
"No... I wouldn't want your tainted soul anyway." The demon replied, making the Mist Hunter sneer.

Zere could feel his life slipping away as the horned demon reached out and grasped his whip, jerking it away and throwing it across the room.
"This is a terrible weapon," The demon chided again, and Zere snarled as he glared up at the other.
"It's MY weapon! It's the only thing I have LEFT!" Collapsing, he sobbed as he curled up, feeling the ice make his body colder.
"You Hunters have nothing good for anyone." The demon said softly, shaking his head. "And despite everything... you're not even that."
Zere didn't answer, merely curled up on the floor as he attempted to gather his wits. Was it even worth replying...?
"I'd say sorry, but... I'd be lying." His opponent stated. He felt pain spread all along the back of his head... and then everything dulled, fading.
