☣ The drive from West City to her house was pretty short, only twenty minutes if she wasn't delayed by watching wildlife. The drive back looked different though, someone had been in the area earlier and destroyed several of the rock formations. Ignoring it for now, she followed the river back to her pod home and smiled as it came into sight. "There it is, home sweet home." she said as she pulled into the yard, parking off to the side of the front doors. Turning off the car, Mari climbed out stretching her arms over her head. "It's not much, but make yourself at home." she stated reaching into the back seat to grab the bags from the store.

🛠 As she watched the scenery during the drive, #7 spotted a few animals that for some reason, brought a smile to her face. But then she also saw the unusual destruction of the landscape; definitely man made. Were there people out this way after all? Well she could at the very least say this had nothing to do with her. Still, whoever did that could still be around... Looking forward, her eyes followed the river until she saw a humble little dome shaped home. 'So this is where she lives...' she mused. Getting out of the vehicle, she looked around and for the first time in a while, however brief, she felt at ease. "I...This place is so..." she muttered, wandering over to the nearby river.

☣ "Quiet? At ease? Tranquil?" Mari said as she kicked the door closed, looking off to where #7 was looking. All the same feelings she felt when she decided to move to this spot."Surreal? It's remote, but i love it out here." she said with a smile as she started to walked towards the front door. "A huge change from the cities I grew up in, and I love it. " she said opening the doors and flicking on the lights to the main room. "Come on in, I can warm up some leftovers for the other night to eat while I look for my old clothes." she called leaving the door open for #7, putting the bags down on the bench for the table in the kitchen before walking to the fridge pulling out a few different containers of food.

🛠 "...Yes. It is" #7 replied in response, catching glimpse of a couple fish swimming along. It was hard not to like this place; secluded away from the city, but not too far from civilization. She also grew up and lived in the city most of her life. Someplace like this was very refreshing...and yet... The android sighed when Mari called out to her, offering to warm up some food to eat. #7 entered the house behind her, looking around the lovely abode. It wasn't too small to feel cramped in, being just about right for a single person home. Rather than wandering around, she entered the kitchen where she found the host pulling things out of the refrigerator to warm up. "Umm, actually...I'm not hungry..." she solemnly admitted. After being so long since she ate anything...#7 realized this was just another "perk" to being part machine. some might find that to be a blessing, but it was just another inhuman thing about her. Lacing her fingers together, she looked down at her feet to avoid looking at Mari. "Actually, I probably should get going soon...before it gets late." She absolutely could not stay, as she felt the woman would sooner or later ask her. Once she got her clothes #7 had to get far, far away from here or anyone for that matter.

☣ Turning to face her guest with food in one hand, she shrugged. "Alright, give me a second to go find those clothes. One of the bags right there have your shoes." Mari said motioning to the bags on the bench. Walking down the hall she went to the storage room looking at the bins. It didn't take long to find the one that had her old clothing inside of it, glancing around she found an old bag that could fit everything inside of it. Opening the top of the bin she started to put the clothes inside the bag for the other person.

🛠 #7 waited for Mari to leave the room before making her way over to the bags. Rummaging through them, she spotted some sort of sensor and a bunch of watches. She shook her head, putting it out of mind before pulling out the boots Mari bought her. Holding them in her hands, she proceeded to look around the kitchen one last time before heading outside. The sun was still up so she would have plenty of time to find some place to stay out there. She just hoped she didn't run into any trouble in the middle of her training. Taking a deep breath, she went back over to the river, crouching down so she could get a good look at the fish. "...I'll be alright on my own. I'm used to it... I'll be...fine" she mumbled, trying to convince herself. It wasn't like she had a choice anyway...

☣ Finishing up putting all the clothing into a bag she exited the storage room and walked to the kitchen. She paused not seeing #7, but when she looked out the window she saw the other woman near the river. Mari walked outside, just as #7 had been talking to herself. "Ya know, if you want you can crash here... I mean you said what you were wearing was all you had." Mari said the bag hanging on her shoulder. "Do you even have a place to go?" she asked before walking to stand next to the other female.

🛠 Hearing the other girl approaching, #7 stood up to face her. It came as no surprise that she offer her home, in light of all she had done so far. She spoke the truth; there was no where to go exactly and the clothes she wore were all she had as far as possessions. #7 fidgeted in place, again avoiding eye contact. "N-No, but... I appreciate all that you've done for me. You're...a really nice person. But I really...don't want to trouble you...or put you in danger..." It wasn't really a "what if" in her mind, but a "when" trouble would come. Getting Mari hurt or even killed would be on her if she stayed. "You don't have to worry. I'll get by somehow, so..." she feigned a smile, trying to put her at ease.

☣ Mari contemplated the others words. "Suit yourself, but know that you can crash here on the couch if ya want. And you don't need to worry about putting me in danger, I'm about to be throwing myself head first into it for my friend. And it's no trouble to have you here, I mean really you graduated from the same college I did, so it's not like you couldn't have helped me in my work to earn some money." she said setting the bag down on the ground. "Here are those clothes I was talking about, it's up to you if you want to stay or not. But doors open if you want to come back to crash." Mari said before staring to walk towards the house once more to grab some food before she heads out into the Rocky Area to see if she could find what was out there, that someone destroyed the rock formations looking for.

🛠 So that was that. Mari still opened her door to her, though #7 wasn't sure if she should come back. Then again, she couldn't help but worry what she meant about throwing herself into danger; even after just telling the woman not to worry about her. In the short time they'd been together, it was hard for #7 not to care for Mari in some capacity after her kindness and their similar history. She reached and collected the bag after it was set down, stuffing the boots she had, inside. Being the only person out here for miles...maybe she could come back, in case of an emergency. "Mari... Thank you, for everything..." she bowed just before the engineer headed back to her house. Taking a deep breath, it was time for her to venture out on her own. She had no idea what awaited her in the rocky terrain, #7 had steeled herself to face it alone.

☣ Mari sighed as she watched the other leave, walking into the house she popped a dish in to the microwave before putting the rest of the food away. As her food cooked she dumped out the bags onto the kitchen table starting to sort everything out in order to have a game plan when she came back. She needed one crucial piece for her radar, she needed at least one dragon ball. Someone had been in the area earlier today... So maybe there a was one near by. She would search for a few hours, and if she couldn't find it by sundown she would come back and work on the radar, that way all she would need to do is find a dragon ball and program in the frequency. Once she had organized everything on the table, the microwave dinged letting her know her food was ready.
☣ After eating and changing out of her everyday wear into her work out clothes she left the house wearing her new shoes. "All right, Ryu. . . I'll get started on my hunting and my training... god I hate running." she muttered as she started a light jog out into the rocky area.

☣ Mari was still smiling as she ran across the small hill that surrounded her random property out in the middle of the desert. She still high on excitement that they had finally found a dragon ball. "Alright! Sev! There is a safe in the living room that you can stick the ball in while I work on the radar, that way until we are ready to start programming the frequency we just have to worry about someone getting into the house." she said running to her front door, practically slamming into it as she had forgot she locked the door when she left. Digging her key out of her pocket she unlocked the door and rushed to the kitchen where she left everything on the dinning room table.

🛠 #7 hadn't anticipating coming back to Mari's home anytime soon, but here she was. And this time it was to stay, as they had arranged, despite her quelled anxiety. She touched down on the ground, putting her right foot first to land gently this time. Mari was quick to get to work, assigning her the task of Dragon Ball duty while she went to build the radar. Maybe it would be in her best interest and safety to slow down a tad; running into the front door as a clear sign not to rush. She didn't seem too hurt, hurrying off to what #7 assumed to be her workstation. For now, she would do as asked and take the Dragon Ball to the safe. The living room, being pretty spacious for a small home like this, was still amazing! A place like this must have been one of those high end capsule homes. Fishing the orb out of her bag once more, she'd place it in the safe and shut it. "Dragon Ball secured!" she smiled to herself, taking a seat on the couch. Now...all she could do was wait for Mari. The redhead opted to stay out of her way for now until she asked for help. Besides, she had to keep her eyes on the ball! If someone even tried to break in here for it, they'd have to go through her first!

☣Mari gathered up everthing that sat on the table and took it with her to her workshop across from her bed room. Hearing #7 call out that she had put the Dragon ball in the safe, now all Mari had to do was get to work on making the radar. It would be difficult to start with, but then again just about everything was when she hadn't done any tests before hand. Tossing the watches on to one table, the fish finders on another work bench and then the random bits and pieces she had bought on another. She kicked her shoes off and removed her hair from the pony tail.
☣Retying her hair up into a bun on top of her head. "Alright, time to get to work." she said pacing over to the work bench with the fish finders on it. Flicking on the over head switch, the light coming on with a hum. Pulling a stool over with her foot she got to work opening the boxes of the different types if radars. pulling a set of tools from the shelf on the otherside of the table, Mari began to pull apart the different radars their manual's sitting under the tools on the desks, as she pulled the machinery apart she set aside the different screens next to their corresponding instructions. Once she was done, she quickly organized the last few times out of the way.
☣Picking up the screens she moved over to her table with the watches, what lined the walls behind the table were computers. Plugging the screens into the computer system, as the systems powered up she watched as the numbers on each of the external devices began to come up onto the computer screen, she began to study how each of them searched for fish in the water. What she was looking for was the ranges of frequencies that each could use. She knew they were all sound based, in searching. But everything made a sound, it was just to hone in on it's frequency. Two of the fish finders had the capability of honing in on said frequency. Now to see how much she could alter the two devices, such as their screen sizes.
☣ Adjusting the perimeters of the screens took longer than she would have liked, but she got the two of them to the point that she would be able to make one the size of the pocket watch screen and the other the size of the screen for the diver's watch. Picking up her knife and soldering iron she flipped over the two screens and started to move the components that made them work, so that they would be able to be cut down into a smaller size. Sitting cross legged on her stool. She finished moving the brains around on the screens she started to draw out on the back side the new size of the screens. Stray strands of hair hanging around her face as she worked.
☣Once she had cut off the excess screen she pushed the left overs off to the side to cut down into spare pieces later on. Spinning in her chair she bounced up and moved off towards the table that held the watches, and began to dismantle them with care so she could fit the screens inside of them. Blowing her hair out of her face she leaned back stretching her arms above her head to get the kinks out of her shoulders and neck for being bent over for so long.
