The sun was just setting as Lacrimosa started her patrolling for the evening, starting early in hopes that she could be able to find time to relax in the hot springs later before the bathhouse closed for the night. Trying to keep the distance needed to travel to make such a thing possible down, her patrol path was more in the city then her usual park path. Which could lead to an eventful patrol in the best of scenarios but she was hoping for a quiet night.

The sooner this was done the sooner she could soak in the hot springs then have a light jog home. A perfect way to end the day!

Humming to herself, she tried to make sure her pass by the library was thorough but unseen, she paused at the feeling of another power signature. Curiously she moved to check it out, hoping it wasn't trouble on the horizon.

Lacrimosa wasn't sure what to expect when she rounded the corner but it certainly wasn't someone who looked just into their teens in a seifuku. Brown eyes blinked as she came to a stop, watching the young sailor soldier. Was... someone so young looking really a senshi?

"Hello there," she greeted, keeping her distance for the sake of the other. A glove hand rose in greeting and she kept a sweet smile on her face.

If she was in fact so young, and possibly new, Lacrimosa didn't wish to spook her. This job was not really for the feint of heart after all.

Oh no, she was absolutely adorable! She had to try not to coo over her and her hands moved to clasp themselves in front of her. And she was so nervous too... How new was she, she couldn't help but to wonder.

"If you mean to ask if I am an agent of Chaos, then no I am not." She'd heard the term white moon before but wasn't sure she liked the sound of it, in all honesty. She was a Sailor Senshi on the side of the light that wanted to fix what was wrong with the side of darkness. Nothing more.

"My name is Lacrimosa and I'm the Senshi of Cherry Blossoms." A gloved hand reached out slowly, carefully, towards the small one. "What is your name sweet one?"

She started when the small, chibi?, senshi seemed to go down and she moved closer still to check on her. Which seemed to work out as Echo's hand slid into her own and she moved to attempt to pull the little one back up. If that was what she wanted. Or Lacrimosa could easily join her on the ground.

"I've never met a Chibi Senshi before, so it is very much a pleasure to meet you, Echo~" A soothing smile, hoping to calm her nerves some. "Does meeting an agent of Chaos scare you that much?"

"Never. You are absolutely the first," she replied, pulling the smaller one to her feet.

Which brought a quick thought to her mind, how long have Chibi Senshi been a thing? Were there some back before she left? Or after?

"Youma?" she queried, glancing down to the small Senshi before looking up at the sky. "Yea, they can be pretty frightening. Almost seem like the stuff of nightmares, huh?"

How to tell her the real nightmare could come from the Negaverse Agents themselves? That they could draw blood and kill so mercilessly it could make you sick?

And then came the question of her Senshi history. How long had she been in this mess?

"I've been a Senshi for about five or six years," she answered, having to think back to how old she'd been. Sixteen or seventeen, she couldn't remember any more. "But... I took about three years off, so technically you could say I've only been a Senshi for about to or three."

Echo seemed to have a good head on her shoulders and for that Lacrimosa was quite proud of her. She seemed nervous, maybe even scared, and unsure, but who wouldn't be? Not everyone was meant for this and not everyone handled it all the same way.

She knew well that.

Blushing a little at the slightly awestruck tone, Lacrimosa waved a hand a bit dismissively. "I'm certainly not the oldest senshi around here, there are those who have been here longer." And had become stronger for it.

Would there be a time when she would become that strong? She doubted it.

It was more the sheepish tone that pulled her from her thoughts, then the question itself. She didn't quite understand why she felt as such but she was more then happy to answer the question. And it might even answer some of her unasked ones if she had them.

"Do not be afraid to step away from this." Tone as gentle as ever there was something else hidden in her words. Nothing bad or something to be afraid of, but maybe a sense of seriousness as well. "There is no shame in walking away from being a senshi and taking care of yourself first and foremost."

A smile that was as gentle as her tone.

"Being a senshi? Isn't not going to be easy. It's going to be scary and dangerous and you can get hurt. Other will get hurt and maybe even die. And if you want to walk away from this at any point because of that? Then that is a-okay. Because I did.

"I walked away expecting to never come back, with the purpose of never coming back. But the longer I was gone the more I found myself wanting to come back. I wanted to take up my pen and feel that power come back to me because there were people I wanted to protect. People I still want to protect even now."

Brown eyes looked up at the sky again, trying to hide how emotional she found herself becoming. Which was a little funny, she thought.

"I don't know entirely who I am as Lacrimosa, if there was even someone I was in the past if that's how I became Lacrimosa. But I want to protect this world and the people in it and because of that I came back."

Oh, she'd rambled a bit didn't she. Laughing a bit and scratching her cheek (to mask wiping away a tear that had escaped), she offered the Chibi her own sheepish grin.

"Ah, sorry. I might have gotten a little off topic there..."

She felt a little bad that she'd made the other cry and tried to smile some. A couple more tears may have fallen in the process. The hug was a surprise but she happily returned it, smiling a bit more now.

"I'm glad I've come back too. And I plan to stay, so you don't have to worry." Echo was such a sweetheart.

Phone? Oh! That was a thing, wasn't? Fishing out her own phone, Lacrimosa winked to the chibi. "Only if I can add you to mine~"
